- "Fabulous small and friendly local feel hotel with beautiful tropical flowers and plants all around the grounds. Our 1 bedroom apartment was comfortable, clean and had good kitchen facilities. The pool area is very relaxing with stunning sea views and easy access to the beach. The hotel is right in Sal centre nearby to the local restaurants and bars and is perfectly located for an evening stroll. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The half board option was very good value; at the time we went it included a buffet breakfast with lots of options including hot and cold options, freshly made omelettes and pancakes and at night there was a set menu including one drink, your main and a dessert to choose from. There were traditional hotel options as well as local dishes to choose from. The front of house team and restaurant chefs were very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely holiday and hope to be back sometime in the future!"

It's spacious, spotless, comfortable and safe. The wifi, which was already quite good, was just upgraded by the owner. It's now better than I have at home -- not bad for a developing country! The staff is just terrific and the owner/manager is very on top of things. There are several restaurants within a two-minute walk and a handful of coffee shops. Though not in the downtown, it's in a great and very safe neighborhood and you can easily be in the heart of Praia with a $2-$3 cab ride. I have at least three more trips to CV planned in the coming year and will definitely stay here again. It has all of comforts of a big hotel but with the friendliness of a small home. The apartment that I stayed in was very cosy and clean, with a well equipped kitchenette although there was no washing up liquid to clean the dishes. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, but the published opening office hours online (8.30am to 6pm) don’t quite match the actual office hours. The reception was closed when I arrived on Sunday afternoon, but thankfully I was still able to check in and receive my key. I didn’t need to use WiFi or air conditioning during my stay so I can’t comment on the service but I highly recommend this aparthotel and I would definitely stay here again."

When we booked the management contacted us to first say hello and to ask if we needed a transfer arranged from the airport to the apartment, that was appreciated. On arrival we met Sara the apartment manager who was so helpful getting us settled in, explaining details about the local area and giving us her contact details for anything else we might think of that we may need support with whilst there. The cleaners came in once during our stay to give the apartment a nice spruce up! The apartment had a lovely balcony that looked out over the town, apartments on the other side had ocean views, next time we will take an apartment on the ocean side! The facilities were spot on, clean and functional bathroom, well stocked kitchenette with pots, plates, oven/hob, fridge etc. Lovely reception room (which we barely used as we were out all the time!). The beds were comfortable and clean and there is nice local artwork throughout the property. The property is very well located as it is approximately 25 minutes from the airport, 1 minute from the beach and the local restaurants, bars and shops are a short stroll away. This is an excellent base for planning whatever you are doing on the island as it is central, easy to find and everything is accessible to you. "
