We have 2 bedrooms, total of 2 Queen beds and 1 queen sofa bed. We aim to have the most comfortable beds, linens and towels. You’re provided with all the amenities you could need. Soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotion, hair dryer, iron, towels, toilet paper, bidet, paper towels, bed linens, laundry machines, full kitchen, dishes, coffee, purified water faucet, slippers, robes, phone chargers throughout the house, WIFI, Netflix on the smart TV, assortment of board games.

We have a large screened in covered porch with an assortment of seating. A perfect place to enjoy a meal in the warmer weather or just relax outside.

Winter activities: Spend time on the lake when it’s frozen over. If you have the gear, the lake is great for ice fishing, ice skating, snowshoeing, or just playing in the snow. All this knowing you have a HOT TUB to come back to for a soak in an intimate setting with a gorgeous Lake View.

Summer months: Amenities include 2 KAYAKS, 2 PADDLE BOARDS, (life jackets provided) spending time on the beach fishing (with own gear), FIRE PIT on the beach and a Hot Tub with lake views! We have 1 boat mooring for those who like to travel with their boat. A full service marina with rentals 1 mile away. A public boat launch 1 mile away. Kill Kare park 2.5 miles away (has a beach and a ferry to Burton island) and the Bay Park (beach, huge playground and different sport courts) is 1 mile away to enjoy. The hot tub is a great place to relax those muscles after a day of activities or just to have some Zen moments while gazing at the lake. We have a variety of out door seating to relax in and we provide some outdoor games like a small putting green and cornhole.
The beach has 2 Kayaks, 2 paddleboards, a fire pit, benches and Cornhole.

The VT Lakehouse is 1500 sq ft with two bedrooms, one bath and a large game room with a full size pool table. Built in 2007 it features an open kitchen and living room with a knotty pine cathedral ceiling and unobstructed views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. The first floor has Corian counters, a dishwasher, with hardwood floors and tiled bathroom, both bedrooms are carpeted. A large deck with grill is right through the sliding door, overlooking beautiful Lake Champlain. Downstairs is a large game room facing the lake with a pool table, couches and laundry facilities. Stone patios and a private dock right outside the lower level provide fishing, boating and swimming a few feet from the door. The dock is available as allowed by lake level in the spring and first freezing weather in the fall.

There was nothing that we needed, everything was stocked so well! There is a huge game selection in the living room closet as well and our kids loved that. We ate most meals on the porch enjoying the view. The location of the house is breathtaking and really the pictures in the listing dont do it justice. The lake is along two sides of the house, you can see the water from so many angles inside the house. We fished and took out our kayaks many times. My children caught tons of frogs and garden snakes in the little stream off the driveway. We took a couple trips to surrounding towns when it rained, found a cute hiking area one day, Creemees which featured 100 different flavors of soft serve and enjoyed a delicious brunch at the Spanked Puppy. Everyone in the area was super friendly, it really is a gorgeous place and such a relaxing environment. My family has stayed in a handful of lakehouses over the years but this was the first that felt like home. So inviting and none of us wanted to leave. Thanks for having us!"

Cottage has over 1300 sq feet of space with lofted ceilings throughout with knotty pine interiors. Full size kitchen, open to common seating area with views of the lake. One bath with shower, washer and dryer. Bedrooms can sleep 6. One king size bedroom with closets and glass sliding door for lake views. The bunk room has four queen size bunk beds with dressers. Air conditioning is available in all of the rooms. Flat screen TV in common room, cable TV, high speed internet access, WIFI.

Exterior boasts two decks one off the kitchen with a Smoking Joe grill with outdoor seating also with a view of the lake. Second deck also facing the lake has a gas firepit and seating arrangement, including two comfortable lounge chairs. Perfect for hanging out at the end of a fun-filled day and look for fireflies. Covered porch is also lake facing and just off the master bedroom.

Parking available for 4-5 cars.

Property has 100 feet of lake frontage. We have a new seawall and a sloping stone ramp to access the water and get to the dock. Lake access for a motor boat is just minutes from the cottage and you are welcome to tie off to the dock. We have a couple of kayaks that you may use. Make sure you arew wearing life jackets. You will also need to wear hard soled beach shoes as the shore is shale and rock. If your children like to fish, my kids have caught numerous fish right off the end of the dock, some pumpkin seeds, but then there are the 2-3 pounders every once in a while that makes it very exciting. Fishing licenses are required in Vermont. Love to hang up pictures of your catches!

St. Albans is minutes away where you will find grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants and other services. Burlington International Airport is a 25 minute drive and Montreal is approximately an hour from the cottage.

Lake life means bugs, algae, and using bottled water for drinking/cooking, but the location is worth it! Kids loved fishing right off the dock- catching lots of little Blue Gills and even a 10" catfish one evening. St. Alban's is very near by for things you might want in town...eating out, grocery store, and don't miss the creemee stands! We loved horseback riding at La Joie (40 min drive) and spent a day in Burlington (35 min drive)... If you are looking for a laid back lake getaway you will not be disappointed with this vacation home!"
