If it’s a private back to nature experience you are seeking, you have found an ideal setting for that. This quiet off the grid cabin, all powered by propane, is very private, is at an elevation of 1100 feet and fronts on a crystal clear pond with no other camps in view. Get away from the busy stressful world we all live in and relax. . Eden is a wonderful place to take in the Vermont summer or fall. Reconnect with nature and each other here.

The cabin faces west on the pond and has a screened porch overlooking the pond. This is a comfortable but simple cabin that does not have electricity but has propane lights, gas fridge, stove, hot water heater and full bathroom. It is an Open design on the lower level with kitchen, living room dining area and one bedroom with a double bed and bathroom. There is also a loft for additional sleeping area. The property has 400 feet of frontage on the pond with swimming area, dock and canoe.You can even swim au natural if you want ! The pond has beaver, turtle, visiting loons and ducks and has perch, bass and sunfish for the fisherman.

Everything you need for cooking, meal preparation and utensils is provided. You must bring your own sheets, ( double for the bedroom and queen size for the loft), single for the porch, towels and paper products. Plenty of blankets are on site. There is a Weber charcoal grill available for barbecuing. We do not allow outside campfires due to fire danger. There is no easy way to extinguish a fire.
Everything you might need for food is just 3 miles away at a decent size market.

If you desire more activity than hanging around the cabin, there are numerous hiking and biking trails nearby and many opportunities for canoeing and fishing. The camp is about 40 minutes north of Stowe, Vt. Which is a charming ski town with great restaurants and shops.The whole area is a recreational paradise: There is a new indoor water park at Jay peak nearby and many interesting towns and other sites to take in. The camp is a beautiful place for the fall foliage and has a wood stove with plenty of wood for those crisp fall days.

This is a unique arrangement in that I rely on the camper to clean the camp thoroughly and remove all garbage before leaving. This keeps the cost down.
I limit the number of guests to 4 as there is a dug well and water must be conserved.

Because the pond is private and extremely quiet, it is important for any potential renters to understand that they must keep a low profile here so as not to disturb the unique nature of this spot. Dogs may be considered if they present no risk in terms of chasing wildlife or barking. There is a canoe provided but due to milfoil concerns, I do not allow renters to put their own kayaks or other boats in the pond.
Note, the camp is only available late May to October. It is closed in the winter.

The pond is clean and inviting except for access which is challenging not only along the path but also getting on and off the dock. I have shown photos to friends who are interested in this kind of experience. They are younger and just looking for a peaceful rest which this cabin offers."

This property is about 20 mins from Smuggs, 30 mins from the town of Stowe, and 40 mins from Jay Peak. I will stay here again the next time I ski at Jay Peak or Stowe."

At the end of the day, relax your muscles in the hot tub after snowshoeing and cross-country skiing at the ski resort.

Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright, wooden interior, black bear-themed decor, and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. Make yourself at home in the cozy atmosphere, resting on the plush furniture, curling up with a good book by the fireplace, or streaming a movie on the large TV mounted above it. Prepare grand meals and on-the-go snacks in the full kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and a quaint dining table. If you need to stay connected, a dedicated workspace with a desk and chair is available for remote work. - "This tiny house was wonderful. We used it as a jumping off point for day trips, mostly for the pup as it was her first vacation. Unfortunately, because of recent flooding, the river was inaccessible due to cleanliness and also was a little too fast moving for the dog. Dog Mountain, Journeys End, and several other swimming options were very close by and were great options. Sadly we also could not get to the waterfall from the property due to recent flooding and path overgrowth, but we look forward to checking it out next time. Property was clean, And although there are other properties for rent there, we felt like ours was very private. Definitely a great option when traveling with your pup!"

Welcome to our second-floor apartment, conveniently located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Johnson. Perfectly situated between three renowned resorts—Smuggler's Notch, Stowe, and Jay Peak—our space is ideal for your Vermont getaway.

The fully equipped kitchen has all the essentials you need to prepare and enjoy meals at home. For families, there are games, coloring supplies, and children's books to keep the little ones entertained during your downtime, and a playpen for babies.

Our unit is a two-bedroom apartment that is accessed via 15 exterior stairs.

The apartment is located above a small grocery store. There will be some noise below during our business hours, 7am-8pm. There are three noise machines in the unit to help buffer, as needed.

Built in 2022, this cozy Scandinavian-styled retreat in the middle of hundreds of acres of forest has all the modern conveniences. Although it's only minutes from Stowe, Craftsbury, Morrisville, and Hardwick, it feels like it's in the middle of nowhere.
The house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower. The house has a screened porch to enjoy the outdoors without the annoying bugs. The porch is also a convenient shelter from the snow in the wintertime. Although the wood-burning stove is decorative only, a fire pit is conveniently located steps from the front door. Staying at the house provides access to hike the surrounding forest and cool off in the streams on the property. Ski-in//out access is available to the Catamount Trail in the winter, as it traverses the property.
The house is one of three that are set in a forested area of a large property that contains multiple streams and access to the Catamount Trail. It is minutes to Green River Reservoir State Park and Elmore Lake. In the winter, great skiing is located nearby in Stowe.

The interior has been designed with emphasis on the living area that boasts a friendly, open floor plan, with one wall consisting of 4 hinged french patio doors, which fills the room with sun during the day. These doors also act as access to the private porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee and a book. The kitchen features granite countertop, with all new stainless steel appliances and all the cook and dishware you need to prepare a home cooked meal. There's also a beautiful butcher block breakfast bar with stools to gather around and plan your day or unwind from your adventures. There's a queen bed in one of the bedrooms and two single/twin beds in the other bedroom. Both rooms have ample closet space, electric wall heaters to stay warm during the cold nights and ceiling fans to stay cool during the summer.

Access:
Guests can enjoy the entire house to themselves. Guests will be given a 4 digit code to access their key from the lockbox outside.

Winter season:
During the winter we plow and sand the driveway regularly, but the house is set on a hill and winter tires and/or 4WD are recommended. The house is equipped with a shovel and salt should it snow during your stay.

Guest Safety:
There is an outside security camera at the property.

Inside, you’ll find maple veneer walls, Douglas fir beams, red oak stair treads, and rich Brazilian hardwood floors—all carefully selected to create a warm, refined atmosphere.

The open living area features a sculptural round designer couch, a sleek indoor fireplace, and a full modern kitchen. A striking spiral staircase leads to a cozy loft bedroom nestled under the steep roofline. Step out onto the string-lit deck—suspended above the Lamoille River—for a serene coffee moment or a starlit glass of wine. Guest Access:
Guests have full private access to the A-frame treehouse via a keypad lock, including the private deck and all indoor amenities. You'll park just steps from the entrance, with an EV charger available on the property. Enjoy shared access to an on-site hot tub, and head down to the Lamoille River for a refreshing swim or peaceful spot to cast a fishing line. Whether you're here to relax, explore, or simply unwind in nature, everything you need is close at hand.

The Neighborhood:
Tucked away in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains, the A-frame is part of Uncommon Accommodations—a unique riverside property just minutes from the village of Johnson. You'll find local cafés, breweries, galleries, and shops nearby, plus easy access to hiking, biking, skiing, and covered bridges. Centrally located between Stowe, Smugglers’ Notch, and Jeffersonville, this spot is perfect for exploring the best of Northern Vermont while enjoying a peaceful, wooded escape.

Getting Around:
A car is recommended for getting around and exploring the area. You'll have free parking right in front of the A-frame, and an EV charger is available on the property. We're centrally located between Stowe and Smugglers’ Notch, with scenic drives in every direction. In winter, 4WD or AWD is highly recommended due to Vermont’s snowy conditions and the hill in our driveway.

Other Things to Note:
This A-frame is part of Uncommon Accommodations, a small collection of unique stays on a 14-acre riverside property. While your treehouse is fully private, some amenities like the hot tub and river access are shared with a few other guests. We provide high-speed WiFi (via Starlink), and the space is best suited for 1–2 adults. Please note the loft is accessed via a spiral staircase and may not be ideal for those with mobility challenges.

Interaction with Guests:
Guests enjoy self check-in via a keypad for a smooth, contactless arrival. I give guests plenty of privacy but am always available by message if you need anything before or during your stay. Whether you have questions, need local tips, or run into any issues, I'm happy to help!

This is a newly renovated space in our historic 1895 Vermont Schoolhouse.
We live in the home, but your space is completely private with its own private entrance and deck! 10 short minutes from Stowe, this is the perfect location for a Vermont getaway.
Space includes one queen bed in a sleeping loft, and a pull out couch in the main living area. Large shower, kitchenette, private porch and beautiful country setting!

The space:
Walk in the space to find a small tiled entrance which opens to a funcional living area. Sectional couch, TV, and kitchenette all make up your main space. The couch pulls out into a comfy bed. TV swivels to be flat against the wall, or angled toward the couch.

The kitchenette has a farmhouse sink, Keurig (coffee essentials included - coffee k-cups for your first morning, sugar and cream), mini-fridge with freezer, microwave, wine/water glasses, and mugs. (PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow any additional outside appliances. No exceptions. If you are planning to save money by cooking in - this isn't the rental for you.)

A cozy sleeping loft with queen bed (accessed by steep stairs) is directly above that looks out to our tree lined, private yard. The headspace in the loft is 6ft at the peak.

The bathroom has a large tiled shower and heated floors.
Outside is a private, partially covered porch just for your use.

Guest access:
You have access to your designated parking space, private porch and your own apartment. The rest of our home and yard is private.

Other things to note:
The sleeping loft has steep stairs, but are comfortable and solid with hand rails on both sides the whole way up. Please note, if you aren't comfortable with steep stairs, you may be more comfortable sleeping on the sleeper sofa.
