This cute two-story house has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs, and 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom downstairs. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom make this house suitable for guests with some mobility issues, as long as they can make it up the 4 porch steps.

The living area is open plan with the kitchen, dining room, and living room part of one communal space so everyone is in on the action.

You will enjoy our flat-screen high-definition TV with Netflix, Youtube, Amazon Prime, and many other streaming channels. That, along with the hutch full of books, DVDs, games and free wi-fi will keep everyone entertained. As of Nov 2017 we have switched to a higher speed internet plan with a new internet service provider.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cookware, an electric stove and dishwasher. As a courtesy to guests, we provide coffee and tea makings, and an initial starting pack of paper products and cleaning supplies.

The house sits on a half-acre lot with a forest in the back, yet is extremely centrally located -- just 1 mile to downtown Montpelier, just off the interstate highway.

There is a full kitchen, equipped with much of what you need to cook and serve meals. Since it was summer, Beth provided a portable air conditioner that kept the space lovely and cool. The big picture window near the kitchen welcomes the day with a pleasant view. There is a couch/bed in the main studio space and a comfy chair and barstools at the counter space. I was very comfortable and felt at home in the space. If you're considering staying in the apartment, I would say GO FOR IT. Despite living only an hour away, I wasn't too familiar with downtown Montpelier, and Beth was so helpful in providing suggestions for places to visit, eat, and grab a drink. We had a great dinner at Three Penny Taproom and delicious gelato at Chill. Beth had so many wonderful suggestions that I think we'll need to make another trip back soon! :)"

- "Clean, spacious home. Family had a great time. Easy drive to downtown Montpelier." - "A long-awaited get-together of high school buddies and two wives (total 5 people), along with two pups. House was exactly as described, and really beautiful. Close to Montpelier center, which has great shopping and restaurants. We also went glass-blowing (20 minutes away), and the menfolks went on a great hike with the pups. The management company was very responsive to a relatively minor household issue (top bedroom heat baseboards were not working) - they sent a specialist out, who fixed it in short order. Would love to stay here again."

- "This seems to be a family home that is being used as a rental. As such, it has all the amenities that you might be used to having. There is every kitchen gadget imaginable, and lots of staples like spices. There are lots of board games, plenty of sitting space and place settings for our family gatherings. We were comfortable and happy there. Note, that it isn't super close to down town, but it is beautiful and pastoral. The hosts were very responsive to a minor issue with checking in."

Montpelier has wonderful locally owned shops and restaurants, and a distillery (Barr Hill), an organic winery (Montpelier Vineyards), amazing bakery/coffeeshops (Capital Grounds is my favorite), and a chocolatier (Rabble Rouser)!

The unit was very clean with plenty of room for our family of six to spread out. One bedroom does not have complete privacy but was fine for our teenage son. It is a shared unit and you do hear the other families at times. The owner was helpful in answering our questions."
