The Rufe House is located 5 miles from Stowe Village on 2 acres surrounded by farmland + a quiet wooded area. We are situated on a private drive with no thru traffic and a large well maintained backyard. High speed internet with WiFi, Comcast TV service and air conditioning is provided.

Our 4 bedrooms / two bath configuration can comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 adults with additional twin beds for children. The bedroom and bath arrangement is perfect for small groups as well as family gatherings. An assortment of games, puzzles, paperback books are welcome for our guests to use during their stay! A high chair and portacrib are available upon request.

FIRST FLOOR:
First floor has an open floor plan with a custom kitchen, dining area that opens to a 30 ft deck wrap around deck + private yard, a living room with fireplace, cathedral ceiling and exposed beams, master bedroom and a full bath with laundry area.
Our living room has a wood burning fireplace, cathedral ceiling with exposed beams, leather couches and a game table. The stairway to the second floor is an open stairway with a second floor balcony walkway that overlooks the living room. A 50" TV, high speed internet with WiFi, Comcast TV service as well as a DVD player are provided. We stock seasoned firewood and kindling in the basement for our guests to use.

Our custom kitchen has cherry cabinetry, tile floor and is stocked with high quality pots, pans, dishes and service ware for 12 guests. Our guests will find that is easy to prepare everything from holiday meals to outdoor BBQ's. Coffee maker, 4 slice toaster, toaster oven, microwave, slow cooker, large electric fry pan, blender, Cuisinart food processor, electric mixer, roasting pans etc are provided as well as basic kitchen supplies. Basic supplies provided : spices, paper products (napkins, paper towels), cleaning supplies, dish soap, dish washer detergent, kitchen wraps, trash bags, coffee filters, sugar, flour, etc. We do not provide coffee.
Our dining area has a custom table that seats 12! Perfect for dining as well as for playing games or making puzzles! The dining area opens to our 30' deck. During the warmer months an outside dining table with umbrella and chairs is provided. A Weber Gas grill is available on the deck year round.

The first floor has master bedroom has a queen bed, a set of bunk beds and a 32" TV. The first floor bath has a tub with shower, safety grab bar and a single vanity. Each of our bathrooms has abundant towels, a hairdryer, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, shampoo and bath soap. Adjoining the first floor bathroom is a laundry area with full size washer, dryer, extra towels + linens. Laundry detergent is provided

SECOND FLOOR: There are three bedrooms and a second bath with double vanity, shower and linen closet on the second floor.
Two bedrooms on the second floor have a double bed and one twin bed. The third bedroom on the second floor has a queen bed and one bunk bed. Extra blankets , linens and pillows are provided in each bedroom.
The second floor bath has a shower, linen closet and a double vanity. Towels, hairdryer, shampoo, bath soap, toilet paper and cleaning supplies
are provided in each bathroom.

For your convenience seasoned firewood + kindling are stacked in the basement. There is also a workbench in the basement for tuning skis/bikes
Our home is immaculately maintained and is cleaned in accordance with CDC guidelines for health and safety.

It is located right next to Copley Country Club, 9 miles to Stowe, 4.5 miles to Lake Elmore, within 30 minutes of Stowe Mountain, 40 minutes of Smugglers' Notch Resort, and 50 minutes of Jay Peak Resort.

This house is remarkable! What started off as a beautiful farmhouse has turned into a luxurious home filled with a ton of amenities. The house boasts 10 bedrooms, 7 of which have private bathrooms. There's an indoor pool large enough for plenty of people. The pool space also has a bar, an indoor hot tub, a heated pool, and twinkling lights in the ceiling, making it look like the night sky! There's a second hot tub, outside.

The house has two kitchens and a very large common space, complete with a wood stove that has a space for cooking pizza and bread above it. This is the perfect home for hosting large gatherings such as family reunions or get togethers for holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or the 4th of July. Above the common space, on the second floor, is a 45-seat theater that is connected to streaming services and a DVD player. The surrounding property is gorgeously landscaped and includes a fire pit and enough parking for at least 30 cars.

The house is located in Morrisville, VT, which is a small town in northern VT. There are lots of places to eat and several breweries, including Lost Nation and Rock Art. The house is fairly close to three great mountain resorts, Stowe, Smuggs, and Jay Peak, which provide great recreational opportunities year-round, including skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, hiking, ziplining, and more. We are also within 4.5 miles of Lake Elmore, where you'll find a beautiful sandy beach and a great hiking trail. Other hiking includes Stowe Pinnacle, Sterling Mountain, Bingham Falls, Mansfield, Camels Hump, and more!

There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a queen pull out couch in the living room which offers accommodations for up to four people. The full bathroom has a tub/shower and washer/dryer for your use.

There is a full kitchen equipped with a range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a full compliment of cookware making it easy to prepare you own meals.

The covered porch has a table and chairs along with gas grill for outdoor cooking and relaxation. The apartment and porch offers privacy and a great view of the back yard and woods where guest often spot deer and other wildlife.

We have several of Vermont's most popular breweries within a few miles of us to include The Alchemist, Trapp Brewery, Rock Art, Lost Nation, Ten Bends and Hill Farmstead. We keep a couple growlers available for guests to use so you can bring back your favorites.

For water lovers we're close to the Green River and Waterbury Reservoirs, Lake Elmore and Lake Eden all of which offer great opportunity for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding.

We also close to the Vast Trail system for snowmobiles and being avid motorcyclist we can help plan some great area rides for guest who prefer to travel on two or three wheels.

There is a great BBQ about a mile away, Black Diamond BBQ. And pizza delivery is available through Pizza on Main which is excellent.

The area also has many excellent dining options and we're happy to make recommendations and discuss what's available.

We live in the attached house and are available for any questions and to make recommendations for area activities, dining options and more. We occasionally have guests staying in the house as well.

Quiet and safe neighborhood. Morrisville is not exactly hopping like Stowe but there are several places to eat within a short walk. This quintessential log cabin is the perfect love nest for 2 or can sleep another person on the single futon in the loft. The unique design is what will make you fall in love and you will have complete privacy. Get away from it all in this magical cabin that has all the amenities you could want and yet it is close to everything. Your pets are more than welcome and there is a big fenced in yard. There are lots of berries in the summer so you can pick the blue berries right from the bushes for your cereals!
In the winter there are cross country ski trails close by and you can explore our woods with snow shoes as well.

The best Vermont has to offer. This spacious yet cozy home is perfect for a family or two and close to hiking, swimming, cycling, skiing, restaurants, the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail and Stowe. The house is walking distance to downtown Morrisville and its restaurants, coffee shop, movie theater and more.

The house features a large living room w/ vaulted ceilings, lots of comfy furniture and a large TV. There is a covered screened in porch to enjoy the flower gardens in the warmer weather. The living room flows into the dining room and kitchen. There is a mudroom, a half bath and a laundry room as well. Upstairs there is a master bedroom and bath with a king bed. Two additional bedrooms and the other full bath finish off this level. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two bunk beds that sleeps 4. The basement, featuring plenty of sunlight via the large windows has another family room with a TV and the fourth bedroom with a queen bed.

High-speed wifi and three dedicated workspaces available, with an extra desk stored in the loft if extra is needed. Newer furnishings and artwork from local shops and brands like CB2 and Pottery Barn. Smart TV (no cable), Nest thermostats, heated bathroom floors, and Sonos speakers on every floor. Gas fireplace in the kitchen area, with island seating and an 8-person square table that was custom built by us from Vermont maple. Smeg toaster, wine fridge, stainless steel appliances, all the amenities you need to make a great meal. Great place for gathering with family and friends!

Bedrooms: All have Casper mattresses and Brooklinen linens. One bedroom on the first floor with a double bed and direct access to a newly redone full bathroom. Two bedrooms on the second floor with a shared and recently redone bathroom with a gorgeous tub and shower. One bedroom with a queen has a porch overlooking the brook, the other (we call the Mountain Room) has a double bed and overlooks the beautiful mountains and backyard. Open to the house (no door), but semi-private loft with a queen on the third floor with its own reading nook and private bathroom.

Watch sunrise over the mountains or leaf peep the gorgeous foliage or snow covered tree tops from the porch in the morning. Outdoor grill for a great summer meal. Lots of outdoor seating areas for warmer months and relaxing after a long hike: adirondacks and an egg swing under the covered porch overlooking the brook, a dining table for 8-10, a seating area looking out to the mountains, loungers by the waterfall, and a private 8-person fire pit (note: we do not supply firewood). Parents, please note there is open, un-gated access to the waterfall. The backyard is incredibly private and so peaceful. For twilight, take a two minute walk up to the Ryder Brook Golf Club for a short round or a winter walk. This house was built for entertaining, adventure, and relaxation.
