In 5 minutes you can be down on Oceano Dunes State Beach. Here you’ll have the chance to enjoy the sun and surf. A short leisurely walk to the north and you’re in downtown Pismo and the Pismo Beach Pier. Oceano Dunes is a vehicle access point if you want to load up your car with your beach gear and drive onto the beach for the day. It is also the location of Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation area. ATV’s can be rented to ride the sand dunes. You will have the whole house to yourselves! The home sits by itself on lot, no other tenants, and no owners are onsite. It is located on a corner lot, plenty of room outside, open and airy feeling, neighbors are on one side only.

The covered, ocean-view front porch, with chairs and table, is perfect for relaxing and enjoying our stunning Central Coast sunsets. Plenty of parking. Small backyard patio.

There is one queen bed. One large couch (not a bed), plus one air bed (adult-sized, electric-inflated).

Authentic mid-century decor and furniture and bric-a-brac, most of which have been in our family for decades. :) Don't expect fancy marble countertops and Xenon lighting (ha-ha), just a clean and comfortable stay with authentic retro character.

They don't make 'em like this anymore...), microwave, dining table for four, with view.

Also unlike at most hotels/STRs, you are welcome to bring any*/all of your doggies, to enjoy the beautiful Central Coast with you! (No limit on number, just $50 per pet, per stay. )

*Dog breed limitations: While we ourselves love all shapes/sizes/colors/breeds of dogs, we personally know others who have had regrettably have had instances of pit bull/terrier breeds (and others) attacking people or other dogs, resulting in liability claims. Insurance companies sometimes even deny coverage for injury claims in which those breeds are involved. Thus, we regret that our property cannot accept pit bull or related terrier breeds, or any mixes including those breeds. Should we learn one of those breeds is on the property (regardless of whether brought by you or any visitor) we reserve the right to immediately cancel your occupancy and require your whole party to vacate immediately. The kitchen includes a Keurig, microwave, stove, full-sized refrigerator, a traditional coffee maker, and basic cook/silverware. Limited spices and cooking oil is also provided.

Cooling: plug-in fan (please note the house does not have AC but is usually adequately cooled by the ocean air by opening the windows)

Short walks include the beach and surf, Monarch butterfly grove, coffee shops, restaurants, and the Amtrak train station.

You may host up to 2 additional guests up until 10pm.

Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. We encourage guests to be indoors, although quiet outdoor conversation is permitted. No outdoor music or cornhole after 9pm, please.

There is one step to enter the house and one step into the 2nd guest bedroom.

Free washer and dryer in unit.

Apologies, we do NOT supply beach towels (due to repeated theft and damage in the past).

The Space:
The space offers 1 formal bedroom with a queen bed. The sunroom offers a queen size sofa bed, and the sitting room offers a small couch for lounging. There are 2 bathrooms in the house, both of which offer a shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a new stainless steal gas range, refrigerator, and counter top air fryer/toaster oven. The Keurig coffee maker as well as coffee and tea pods are here for you use, again, make yourslef at home. There are 3 TV's in the home all equipped with DiercTV, the TV in the sun room is a smart TV with access to the internet and all your favorite streaming applications. The WiFi name and password will be located in a picture frame on the side table, as well as in the welcome binder.

Guest Access:
As a guest, you will have access to the entire property, except for the shed in the back, which looks like a small version of the house. That is where the owners keep their items.

The Neighborhood:
Grover Beach is one of our favorite places. Small, easy going beach town, close to everything you may need or want. Lil' Bits is a great local breakfast place located on Grand and 7th Avenue, walking distance from the house. We are only a few minutes drive to downtown Pismo Beach where you will find the areas favorite restaurants. The Cracked Crab, Giuseppe's, Garlands Hamburgers, Splash Café, and our personal favorite La Bodega (ask for mike).

Getting Around:
Getting around is easy by car, bike, or walking. It is completely up to you. You are allowed to drive on the state beach, so if you and your vehicle are up to it, cruise down and check it out.

Please start the first load of towels or sheets if you can.
Please leave all soiled laundry by the washing machine.

- "Grover beach is a lot less crowded than Pismo beach - not just the beach, but also the town. Beach access at Grover Beach, Monarch butterfly Grove, Vons (safeway), big chevron gas station are all with 5mins of driving and even walkable. Pismo beach is 10mins away. Sunset views are spectacular from the windows of the great room facing west and the small balcony. Parking is in a designated open spot, but behind a gate, so feels more secure than street parking. Beds and central heater were comfortable. House layout was great. Kids loved the 2 beds in the same room and that parent's room was right next to theirs. Kitchen is large with a lot of counter space on the island."

The Master Bedroom has a California King and the second bedroom has a Queen Bed. Both Bedrooms have their own TV so you are able to enjoy different shows or late night movies while others are sleeping. The Master Bedroom also has two closets so you can hang your clothes separate from your partner.

There is also a laundry room located near the dining room with a washer and dryer so you can wash your sandy beach clothes after a long fun day in the sun.

From the dining room there is a sliding glass door that brings you to the fenced backyard with a outdoor fireplace and seating so you can enjoy the evenings.

Welcome to our charming beach bungalow, just a 5-minute drive from the Oceano Dunes! This 1200 sq ft home offers an airy and open living space, all located upstairs. The home features two master bedrooms: one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. Each bedroom has its own attached en-suite full bathroom with a shower. The living room includes a full fold-out bed, perfect to sleep 6.

Enjoy stunning views of the dunes from the expansive rooftop deck, which spans the entire roof. The deck is equipped with cornhole, ample seating, and a gas fire pit, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind. The second-story deck also offers more seating, a secondary fire pit, and a BBQ for your grilling needs.

Our home is family-friendly, featuring a gate on the stairs, a high chair, and a portable pac n play (please bring your own linens for the pac n play; all other linens are provided). We only have a baby gate for the inside stairs. There is no baby gate for the rooftop deck.

The fully stocked kitchen includes basic cooking spices and all the essentials you need for meal preparation.

As our valued guest, you have access to the whole home except for the garage. The garage has been converted to secondary living for the owners. They do not live on site full time. There are no shared spaces besides the driveways.
