This is both our home and our business and we take great pride in maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness. We have instituted a 24 hour wait period before entering the home. Our cleaning vendor follows CDC cleaning and disinfection guidelines. However, all guests should also do their part to disinfect the unit. We also include disinfectant wipes and sprays for guests during their stay. We will continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) updates from the world health organization, the US centers for disease control and prevention and the County of San Luis Obispo health department and will continue to respond based on the best advice of governments, public health authorities, and medical professionals.

The “Beach Cottage” is located just 2 blocks from the Morro Strand State Beach, a five mile uninterrupted expanse of sand and waves. As you drink coffee in the morning, you can sit at the breakfast nook or on the glass enclosed front deck and watch the waves break with Morro Rock to the South and all of Estero Bay to the western horizon. One can actually see 50 miles of coast; south of Montana De Oro (Point Bishon) and north to Estero Point (north of the abalone farm). At the south end of Cayucos on Ocean Blvd, you are surrounded by headland hills and blue water. Most days you will see local professionals soaring off the tops in their para-gliders, right behind the house, landing on the flat in front of the beach…cool!
The house has been totally remodeled. Walls have been removed and sight lines were considered so that you have views from everywhere in the great room. The deck has comfortable chairs, a table for dining, gas grill and a 10’ umbrella for sun protection. The kitchen has a suite of Samsung stainless appliances, quartz countertops throughout. We also added a On Demand tankless water heater in 2018. The great room offers comfortable seating for conversation or making use of the 55” flat screen Smart TV; Premium Channels package, and sound system. The full bath has top of the line hardware, tub/shower option, water saver loo, and double sinks; storage for your personal beach towels, can be stacked in the ample storage closet. The 3/4 bath also has water saver loo, walk in shower, and sink with storage beneath. The Guest bedroom has a queen bed and is tastefully decorated with a 47" flat screen Smart TV. The Master bedroom has a Cal-King, high boy dresser, and also a 47” flat screen Smart TV.
The back yard has a quiet setting with a water fountain, succulent garden, and a gas fire pit for those roasted marshmallows and Smores. A storage shed is available for larger toys like surfboards, bikes, or things that DO NOT GO IN THE HOUSE! The backyard is enclosed and lockable. There is no garage privilege. Owners store rental paraphernalia there. NOTE...We added a space over the garage and carport in 2018 that is the owners residence. It was designed by our architect to elimate any sound transference between floors.

It is light and bright with large oceanfront windows and six skylights. One of the exciting features is a floor-to-ceiling picture window allowing one to enjoy waves breaking on the beach from the comfort of the upstairs bed in the master suite. Private, on-site gated parking is included. After parking your car, you might never use it again until your stay has ended. Once you enter this condo and enjoy the deck and amenities, it is hard to leave the condo itself! However, you can easily walk to almost everything you might need or want.

Indeed, one couple coming out of the famous Cass House restaurant told my wife and me that they rated this eatery, along with two others in Europe, as having the best food anywhere! First I want to share this common remark that is contained in many of the reviews from past guests. They find when walking into the cottage that my online pictures have not done it justice. Also the cottage is more roomier than they pictures portray.

Monthly rentals are at a huge rent discount so if staying 30 days or more please inquire about the rate. Also when staying over 30 nights be sure to tell Vrbo that there is no transient tax. They need to make an adjustment in the amount they collect.

Serenity! (description of current guest staying 15 days) One bedroom with queen bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower and a living room with a small dining area. Three houses to the beach. Perfect for two guests new sofa is not a sleeper. Cottage is located behind the main house which is a vacation rental, however a large patio is in between the two units. Spacious bedroom is located on back side of cottage so that sleeping environment is very quiet. The large house located in front has been on VRBO/ HomeAway for more than 10 years and it has received 5 star reviews, please look at property number 803849.
Parking is at outside of the gate along the fence when the main house is rented, however, when the main house is vacant the parking is in the driveway.
The cottage is fully equipped with kitchen appliances ,no conventional oven, however, has a portable convection oven, dinnerware, paper products and linens. Two beach chairs are supplied for your convenience. An outside heated shower lets you wash off all the beach sand. Walking to the beach is 3 houses to Pacific St. turn right walk 3 houses over and there is the beach access. Walking on the beach at Cayucos is so relaxing. To the pier and downtown is a short walk.
Accommodates 2 guests limit only. If more than 2 people stays then fee will be taken from damage deposit. I have found with all my guests in the main house that they are careful not to break anything and there has been no theft which is the only things that are covered with the non refundable insurance policy. I have only deducted from the damage deposit 3 times for excessive dirtiness so 99% of the time the traveler has their full damage deposit returned. I have found it necessary to return to the $300.00 after lowering it to $100.00 due to the fact I recently had a guest reserve the cottage knowing that it has a two person limit and she had 4 sleeping in the cottage for 7 days. Pets are allowed which is $100.00 per pet. Please answer the question on the reservation page that you will be traveling with a pet. Send me a message if you have more than one pet staying. Dog must not be vicious and must be friendly with people and other dogs since the main house may have guests with dogs. Must have been flea and tick treated within 14 days of stay.

Located close to downtown Cayucos, Circle Drive is also just two blocks to the beach at the 19th Street beach access. This beach is great for relaxing and ideal for surfing/boogie boarding while rarely crowded despite the perfect weather. If you're into running you can actually do a 10k loop from the pier all the way to Morro Rock and watch the kite surfers. It's really a little bit of paradise.

The views from living, dining and family rooms take your breath away. Fenced landscaped yard with patio furniture as well as a separate area for the spa.
Lots of extras including board games, beach towels and chairs, toys for beach and home, wine glasses, spices and condiments. Enjoy little niceties including a towel warming rack, farmhouse sink and I-Pod sound system.

This space is an ideal fit for two. The cottage includes two dedicated parking spaces - one snug driveway spot and a convenient street parking space just steps from the entrance. Guests are welcome to use the EV charger upon request.

As you enter our newly renovated modern yet cozy, bright cottage, enjoy peek-a-boo ocean views from the kitchen and living space, while cozying up next to the electric fireplace. Our living room is the perfect space to relax while reading next to the fire or watching your favorite TV programs in the plush modern leather lounge chairs. A fully stocked, state-of-the-art, kitchen with new appliances, and a convenient washer/dryer combo provide the perfect space to cook any meal. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee (or locally provided tea) at our kitchen table for two, out at the bistro table on the front patio, or take it to go while walking your pup down to beach!

Turning to the bedroom space, enjoy the convenient Murphey Bed setup, allowing for a super cozy and comfortable sleep at night, yet maximing space during the day. Turn on the in-suite electric fireplace to take the chill out of the coastal air, while relaxing and ending your day. The studio offers a bathroom conveniently located next to the bedroom space and features a spacious rain shower with a modern aesthetic.

Stepping out to your front patio, enjoy your own private modern succulent garden space, backdroped with ocean views. From the patio space you are only minutes away to nearby trail heads, spanning to dozens of miles of open space and only a short walk to nearby dog-friendly beach entrances. We live on the property above the cottage with our dog and are generally available in case guests require anything. The cottage is located under the top unit’s deck, but does not share any walls.

Parking - Please park in the designated parking space in the driveway next to the cottage. If additional parking is needed, there is a convenient oversized street parking space in front of the cottage that is available on a first come, first serve basis.

House looks like the pictures and it is very centrally located to go visit Cambria, Paso, SLO etc. Beach is a 2 min drive and maybe a 10 min walk (walking home is a bit longer due to the hill to get back to the house). Mornings can be a bit foggy as it’s a coastal area which adds to the charm of early morning beach combing. The house is clean, appliances work well, water has great pressure and beds are comfortable. There are steps to access the house from the detached garage therefore it is not accessible for those with physical challenges.Wineries, avocado groves and stunningly steep mountains are all nearby. Wish I had a convertible to more fully enjoy the backroad views. We enjoyed our stay immensely and decided to stay another week."

- There is no washer and dryer in the unit, and it is not available for guest use within the condo complex. The nearest laundromat is Laundraland, located at 489 S Ocean Ave Cayucos.
- Please note that this unit is in a shared building and does not have private balcony access.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

This rental home features vaulted ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors, and wrap-around windows for a 180-degree ocean view of Estero Bay and Morro Rock. It's a short drive to downtown Cayucos shops, restaurants, beaches, and easy access to Hwy 1 to explore exciting San Luis Obispo activities. Beach access is just a few blocks away.

Inside you'll find an en-suite bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom (shower) and a second bedroom with a queen bed. The living room ottoman has a pull-out mattress. There's wi-fi and flat panel TVs in living rooms and bedrooms for nights in. Wind down on the patio enjoying sunsets over the Pacific Ocean or grill up your favorite meal.

Fully stocked with new appliances, the galley kitchen has all of the cooking amenities you'll need plus two dining tables and home offers all linens you'll need for your stay. There's even a washer/dryer for longer visits. The garage has room for one vehicle and there's off-street parking for two additional vehicles.

King bed in master bedroom, twin trundle in second bedroom, and queen sofa sleeper in living room for additional guests. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with double sinks. All new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Flat screen TV (bring your streaming device) and electric fireplace to warm up the living room. Spacious patio with tables & chairs and a privacy panel to separate from next door unit. Shared common area laundry facilities as well as outdoor kitchen (coming soon); however, there are no personal barbecues available nor are they permitted on decks. Putting green adds another level of entertainment; however, children must be supervised during use. Sorry, these units do not permit pets or smoking of any kind. Parking for one vehicle only.

- "The apartment was cute and clean, everything was great for the most part. I gave a poor review for check in because they said if the office was closed when we arrived (at 2pm 😑) the keys would be in a black mailbox outside, which they were not. We had to leave and come back which is annoying but not that big of a deal. Buuuut when we did come back the woman working was taking a personal phone call and completely ignored us for 5 minutes while we stood in her doorway. She then hung up the phone, handed us an envelope and we left. Just felt very rude to me and easily avoidable. They apartment itself and the stay was great though and it’s proximity to downtown was unbeatable."
