The room with the king size bed has a sofa bed behind a curtain door. The farm is located about 7 miles from Highway 101. Paso Robles is just a short drive through scenic wine country. Come see the historic Mission San Miguel, visit the many wineries in the area or take a drive to Hearst Castle. Enjoy the views along the Pleasant Valley Wine trail. There is much to do (or not!) in the area.

The 3200 square foot home is comfortable in every way. There are four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including a master bedroom suite complete with wood pellet stove to enjoy on cool evenings and a master bath with a two person Jacuzzi style tub. From the master bedroom, a spiral staircase takes you to the spectacular observation tower studio or just out the door to a patio overlooking the vineyard. Both are great places to enjoy the colorful sunsets with a glass of wine. For relaxation and entertaining, there is a large gourmet kitchen with a Viking stove, breakfast room, dining room, family room, and living room with gas fireplace. This house will comfortably sleep eight to nine.

There are wide covered porches around the house, which provides extensive, shaded patio seating to enjoy the tranquility of the setting. There is also a fully enclosed back yard with a separately enclosed pool. The pool has solar heating, which keeps the water temperature comfortable from May through September.

Internet Access is available for wireless computers at no extra cost. The home has inside laundry. There is a garage space for one car and plenty of parking for other cars or recreational vehicles.

It’s in a great location central to so many wonderful wineries. Very close to Paso as well but yet out in the country. There’s room to take walks and enjoy the outdoors. One of the rooms has twins beds which really need better mattresses for adults. Also the ceiling fan in that room is very wobbly so we weren’t able to use it because it was too noisy at night. The other beds were very comfortable. I hate to give too good of a rating because I kind of want to keep this a secret to myself. We will definitely be renting this again. The rental company and staff were amazing to work with. Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating."

In 1869 and 1870, the notorious outlaw Jesse James, and his brother Frank, frequented this bar while Jesse recovered from a gunshot wound at the nearby Drury James ranch, which was owned by a family member. It was almost unusable. Why not a nice small round table with three chairs ? Travelers need a place to just sit and relax and look at maps and bouchers. Just a suggestion. This classic 1890’s Victorian home offers two bedrooms with queen sized beds, each with a private bath. There is also a futon sofa in the living room for one adult or two small children, making the home an ideal place for a couples retreat or for families to reconnect. Each bathroom has a bathtub for you to relax and unwind in after a day touring picturesque landscape, historical parks, and world renowned wineries located nearby. There is also a range of board and patio games available for those looking for a more “staycation”, relax-at-home experience.

The home includes central air conditioning, free Wifi and a television in the living room. There is a full kitchen with refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and basic cooking and dining equipment such as pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Genuine antiques and period piece furniture includes a prohibition-era “hide-a-bar” (a cabinet that converts from an innocuous dish cabinet into a chic cocktail station). The charming fireplace is original but only decorative.

Please note that this is a true historical home. Closet space is limited. However, both bedrooms have a rolling clothing rack that offers extra storage space.

LUSH GARDEN

Glamping at the Miller Moth Ranch is a very fun and unique experience! Located in Paso Robles wine country on a fifth generation working ranch. Almond Springs farm stay experience is designed to ensure your comfort and cleanliness expectations are met while enjoying the historic property and nature’s beauty. The rustic surroundings are described as vintage country chic and authentic country charm.

The ranch raises Angus cross cattle, African Boer goats, chickens, dryland farms livestock hay, runs a rustic agri-tourism center (Almond Springs), and has its own butcher shop (Ranchita Meat Company).

While staying at the ranch you will enjoy an ultimate remote country experience. The cabins are located 2 miles within the property on a maintained dirt road.

Glamping offers the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and nature while remaining luxurious and comfortable. This is a unique experience for guests seeking to disconnect from everyday life and connect with nature in comfort. You will not find anything like it!

ATTENTION: Your cabin comes with one queen bed for two people. IF you book for 3 people we will set up a memory foam rollaway bed. This will not be set up if the reservation is not made for 3 guests.

Your Cabin will have a dedicated bathroom that will not be shared. These are not structurally connected to the cabins but very close to them.

The communal kitchen has a refrigerator, sink, microwave, BBQ, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, oven, cutlery, cooking utensils, and toaster. The kitchen has A/C and heat.

Other Structures (shared): The Lounge Barn, Legends Saloon, Loading Dock Stage, Antique Barns and the Game Room.

Evenings: Evening time at Almond Springs is spectacular. There is no light pollution, and the stars are amazing! The space is also well lit with intimate café lighting.

Weather: This is a remote country space. The Cabins and Kitchen both have Heat and A/C. Please come prepared for what the weather predicts for San Miguel, CA.

Dogs: We allow up to two dogs. There is a pet fee.

Campfires: Allowed. We sell bundles of wood.

Cellular Service: Cell Service is spotty but we have Wi-Fi for you to connect to!

Guests will have access to our 10 acre property and the main house with the exception of the barn, which will stay locked for your safety until it is renovated.

Our property is not completely fenced, but there is a 2000 square foot animal pen in the backyard with a tree for shade and water bowls if pets would like to hang out there during the day. We do not recommend leaving pets outside at night time due to wild animals in the area.

- "Our group (4 adults, 3 kids under 12) are regular visitors to the Paso Robles area but we had not previously stayed in San Miguel. This location is great - very close to the Peaceful Valley Wine Trail with a bunch of warm, welcoming, and kid-friendly wineries. We especially enjoyed Graveyard! The property itself is quite pretty and clean. We were easily able to fit a cot inside one of the bedrooms and a pack and play inside the master bedroom. The open windows provided great views even when inside, and the outdoor space is comforting and the perfect setting for a meal or a glass of wine. The host was communicative and accommodating and we didn't have any issues during our four-night stay. Hacienda Dorada is a lovely property and we would certainly stay here again the next time we're in town!"

From a hand written welcome sign congratulating us, to napkins that read Mr. & Mrs., to a fine bottle of red J. Lohr and box of Truffle Sees candy I cannot put into words how exceptional our stay was. They put so much love and care into everything! They had fresh fruit, yummy blueberry scones, Nespresso Machine with delicious coffee.. they even had a gallon of water waiting for us to help us hydrate the morning after even though they already provided a fridge stocked with bottles of water! They put that much care into your stay with them.. the bed is massive I’m 6’6 and my bride and I had plenty of room to sprawl out on their Cali King. Fresh sheets, fresh towels, and even CHARMIN TP! I mean it really did feel like I was staying back with my mom during spring vacation in college, you will absolutely feel at home here. Their dogs are beautiful and so so friendly! Their property is magical, make sure to pour a cup of Nespresso and sit out on the porch with a good book at sun up. Pat and Jeff, thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we will be back! Glamping at the Miller Moth Ranch is a very fun and unique experience! Located in Paso Robles wine country on a fifth generation working ranch. Almond Springs farm stay experience is designed to ensure your comfort and cleanliness expectations are met while enjoying the historic property and nature’s beauty. The rustic surroundings are described as vintage country chic and authentic country charm. You will be staying in the middle of a 4,500 acre ranch with rolling hills and beautiful scenery!

The ranch raises Angus cross cattle, African Boer goats, chickens, dryland farms livestock hay, runs a rustic agri-tourism center (Almond Springs), and has its own butcher shop (Ranchita Meat Company).

While staying at the ranch you will enjoy an ultimate remote country experience. The cabins are located 2 miles within the property on a maintained dirt road.

Glamping offers the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and nature while remaining luxurious and comfortable. This is a unique experience for guests seeking to disconnect from everyday life and connect with nature in comfort. You will not find anything like it!

Your Cabin will have a dedicated bathroom that will not be shared. These are not structurally connected to the cabins but very close to them.

ATTENTION: Your cabin comes with one queen bed for two people. IF you book for 3 people we will set up a memory foam rollaway bed. This will not be set up if the reservation is not made for 3 guests.

The communal kitchen has a refrigerator, sink, microwave, BBQ, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, oven, cutlery, cooking utensils, and toaster. The kitchen has A/C and heat.

Other Structures (shared): The Lounge Barn, Legends Saloon, Loading Dock Stage, Antique Barns and the Game Room.

Evenings: Evening time at Almond Springs is spectacular. There is no light pollution, and the stars are amazing! The space is also well lit with intimate café lighting.

Weather: This is a remote country space. The Cabins and Kitchen both have Heat and A/C. Please come prepared for what the weather predicts for San Miguel, CA.

Dogs: We allow up to two dogs. There is a pet fee of $50.

Campfires: Allowed.

Cellular Service: Cell Service is spotty but we have Wi-Fi for you to connect to!

- "The property was accurately depicted and even more beautiful than pictures could capture. Great for an escape but a short drive to downtown Paso Robles and even shorter to vineyards. The host was very responsive and proactive and provided a lovely tour of the property as well as great historical context to the property. I would definitely recommend and will be staying again.
