- "Berry Hill Resort is an interesting place to stay. The property is absolutely gorgeous with it's tree lined entry and stately mansion. Concealed behind the Greek Revival home is a modern, attractively decorated hotel and conference center. My room was very nice with a canopy bed and heart of pine floors. There's a convenient pub with friendly staff and a restaurant in the mansion itself.There also a spa. The resort seems to be a perfect place for company meetings or events. It is removed however and my maps programs failed me on more than one occasion - it's removed but I think worth the effort to find it.My only complaint was I made a reservation at the restaurant and when I arrived there was no one there to greet me or seat me. The lights were off and I was not sure I was in the right place. Service needs improvement here but otherwise the resort is worth checking out. Caution to participants at VIR: it's a hike to the track but you will not find nicer accommodations in the area. For that reason I would highly recommend staying here."

- "We enjoyed our stay very much. First time. " - "owner was very responsive however, some things, merely inconvenience, were unable to be resolved. Outlets in Bathroom did not work. So had to dry my hair outside the bathroom and try to see in the bathroom mirror. There is no outlet near a mirror. The couch had a mild dog smell. Not overwhelming but it was there. Then for some reason we couldnt get the TV to work for us. We had trouble signing in to the WIFI but found out that the router had been changed and it was fine after that and always got a response right away from the owner. Hot water often ran out if we took showers. There were 6 people. So, I think the tank is small. That was an easy fix. Just three took a shower the night before, and the rest of us in the morning. Just would have been nice to know ahead of time. The 4 twin beds are trey beds that pull out from under each other. So, makes it hard to walk to the bathroom during the night if you are at full capacity. Really no room to walk around. Perfect if it's just for two in that room though. It was in the perfect location for us and well-maintained property. Kitchen had great number of dishes, great coffee, even a blender!"

We have a strict dog only pet policy. There is a $50.00 pet fee and a maximum of two dogs allowed at the property. If you plan to bring your dog(s) along, please be sure it is included in your reservation at confirmation. Unauthorized pets at this property will result in a $100.00 reservation violation fee in addition to the standard $50.00 pet fee. Thank you in advance for both your compliance and understanding of our pet policies.

Relax at this beautiful serene lake view cabin. This spacious 1 bedroom cabin has all you need. A full kitchen,bath and a view that is out of this world.

The cabin is on 120 acre property where you can swim in the 10 acre lake, paddle board, kayak or fish. At your own risk.

You can walk the trails and see the streams on the property or walk out to the little island in the middle of the lake. There is a table by the lake where you can have a quiet dinner. Whatever you do you will be sure to love this property.

We are 3 miles from the town of South Boston and about 5 minutes from the race track
