No weekly housekeeping as stated on the website and reservation forms. Stated the housekeeper was on medical leave and no arrangements were made for coverage. Repeatedly asked, over 5 weeks, for the kitchen faucet to be fixed, but property managers made excuses every time. So that was unusable. They have no consistent management on site - substitute managers passed the buck. The on-site maintenance guys were the only people who showed much energy to help. But they had limited resources. "

• We have installed hypoallergenic, waterproof protectors on the mattress and the four KS pillows. Reliable Property Managers cleaning staff has been instructed to launder the bed sheets and white cotton blanket after every guest departure. On arrival, all bed sheets, including the blanket, should be clean. Please bring your own comforter and extra blanket(s) if you desire.
• We removed the living room throw.
• Reliable Property Managers will continue to have their staff clean all the high-touch areas in the villa with disinfectant (including door handles, light switches, counters, etc.).
• We installed a keyless front door lock so our guests will have the option of using a four-digit code to open the lock or carrying a key.
• Access to villa and welcome packet will be sent electronically. To avoid contact with amenity card staff, guests can arrange to pick up their amenity cards in a lockbox outside the amenity office by designating this on their amenity card form.

This 2 BR 2 BA Dune Crest detached cottage was recently renovated including a new kitchen and new furnishings. One of the best views of the golf course on the island! LONG, elevated views of two different holes of the Crooked Oaks Course.

The oversized deck has a wraparound view through the oak trees of the 1st fairway AND 18th fairway of the Crooked Oaks Golf Course. The deck also features a full stainless gas grill, a large teak table with 6 chairs, low-voltage lighting that comes on automatically at dusk, and cafe string lights.

Inside, walls of glass showcase the views of the golf course and surrounding oaks and palms. The kitchen has white modern cabinetry, granite counters, subway tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances including a full-size fridge and freezer with ice maker, full-size range, dishwasher, built-in microwave, and a large island for prep. There are dark hardwood floors throughout the house for easy cleaning.

The kitchen is open to the living and dining area. The dining table seats 3 comfortably, and the 4th chair is stored in the living room. Or, enjoy a meal outside on the deck at the large table and 6 chairs and enjoy the view!

The living room features two reclining leather chairs, and a white futon sofa (sleeps 1 child). There is also a 32” LED HDTV with HDTV programming along with on-demand access. The entire home is full of photographs from around Charleston and Seabrook.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed (sleeps 2) and attached full bath. The 4 floor-to-ceiling windows are inches away from an ancient oak tree! There are built-in shelves for storage, two closets, and a small desk and chair. There is also a 39” LED HDTV in this room with over 100 channels and HD programming.

The guest room features beautiful, unobstructed views of the 1st fairway and bunker of the Crooked Oaks Golf Course from 4 floor-to-ceiling windows. This room has a twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath (sleeps 2). There is also a tall dresser, and built in closet. There is a 39” LED HDTV in this room with over 100 channels as well. The guest room is just a couple of feet from the second full bath in the hallway.

Both bathrooms feature tile floors, updated vanities, new light fixtures, rainfall shower heads, and waffle-weave shower curtains.

Underneath the home are two South Carolina rope hammocks and low-voltage lighting. There are views of the golf course down here as well!

This home comes with an initial supply of towels, hand soap, and cleaning supplies. An initial supply of toilet paper and paper towels is provided as well. A washer and dryer is also located in the basement with access via the spiral staircase.

4 beach cruisers (all 26”) and 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs with built-in coolers and backpack straps are provided for your use as well.

Seabrook Island guests can use all beach accesses for free. Guests may also use the outdoor pool at The Lake House and playground for only an amenity card deposit fee. The two oceanfront pools (seasonal), club restaurants, equestrian, tennis, and golf require an amenity card. An amenity card may be obtained at the Club Amenity Office for $50 per day or $300 per week. Usage fees and a card deposit will apply. You must order your amenity card at least 48 hours before the first day you plan to use it (if one is desired).

Bay Pointe Villas are just 3 miles from both Seabrook Beaches, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Sound side of the Island. Enjoy white, fluffy beach sand at North Beach on the Atlantic side with a gorgeous 1-mile walk to Captain Sam's Inlet and views of Kiawah Island. The beaches on the island's sound side offer direct sunset views and calm waters.

Biking is an excellent way to see the island. Several bike rental companies will deliver and pick up the bikes at the condo.

The brown house was spotless and inviting, with interesting furnishings and collectibles. The Edisto Environmental Center which has hands on displays, also has nature trails near the shore. The nearby Edisto Historical Museum with many photos and artifacts was our particular favorite. We frequented Java Java at Freshfield Village which was very close. The grocery store and gas station there were so convenient. Though we had to drive to it, the beach access wasn't bad at all. It stormed and raining the first few days, but the armtmosphere more than made up for it. The Salty Dog restaurant was right down the road. It has amazing views! You can't tell from the front of the restaurant. You really have to go in and check it out. Great vibe! Overall, an excellent, stress free getaway. Would love to return!"

Comfortable, 10 year old house which is private and a 10 minute drive from the beach. Low country roads and plantations to explore and 45 minutes from Charleston gardens, plantations, and shopping.3 miles to boat ramp at Steamboat Landing,which has a pier for fishing and crabbing,and floating dock. Our cottage has new Pergo like flooring which replaced old carpet and has been newly painted. It has a bedroom with a Queen sized bed and the second bedroom has two twin sized beds. This intimate, comfortable cottage is pristine and crisp and begs for you to relax. It is a second home - all you need to pack are your personal items.It has a beautiful lagoon and sunset view from the screened porch and deck. The deck has been expanded to provide room to enjoy the long lagoon view. There is a table suitable for dining on the screened in porch. The deck with the lagoon view was enlarged in Jan, 2014, The cottage was modified when it was built to offer an extra wall of windows which brings the lovely tropical setting even closer to our guest. There is patio furniture and a gas grill which are great for chilling out after a day on the beach. The lagoon attracts some interesting birds and wildlife - a haven for admiring nature. The beach is about a 7 minute walk from the cottage. On route to the beach is a pool which guests of the Greenslake Cottages have access to with no charge. This upscale cottage was completely remodeled in 2006- hardwood floors, granite counters,etc. The open den and dining room combination provide a panoramic view of the lagoon through the sliding glass doors and windows. Equipped with wifi , color hi def TV's with DVR, DVD, and stereo/CD in the den. The well equipped kitchen has been enlarged with a dine on bar and has ample space for a gourmet chef to do their magic.
Ceiling fans are in the den, and each bedroom to provide added cooling along with the central HVAC after a day on the beach. Solar tubes bring extra light into the baths and kitchen area.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with a shutter head board . The mattress just begs you to sleep late. There is an en suite bath with large tiled walk in shower off of the master. On a built in armoire sits a 32" TV in the master bedroom. A sliding door offers light and a lagoon view.

The restful guest bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and a bath with tub + shower. There is a 20'" flat-screen TV in this bedroom . Plantation shutters in this bedroom enhance the cottage atmosphere.

The cottage has central air and heat and has plantation ceiling fans in both bedrooms in addition to the screen porch and den.

The cottage is in the West Beach area at the end of a cul de sac, which provides privacy and access to twenty miles of bike paths with one leading to Freshfields Village for shopping and ( ice cream ). It has a canopy of a beautiful live oak tree that frames the cottage entrance. The Cougar Point Golf Course is just a few minutes walk as is the lovely 10 mile hard packed sand beach.

Guests enter Bohicket Marina Condo by by entering the front door of the home (Unit 1945). Once you enter the front door, you will find the dining room, one of two full bathrooms and the living room. The home's kitchen and master suite are located off of the living room and dining room areas. Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.

Pelican Watch regime does not allow LSV rentals.

Amenity Cards are required to use the Seabrook Island Club and SIPOA Lake House facilities. This property includes access to the Club amenities: the Beach Club oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage. The Club Amenity Card also allows access to the Lake House facilities (outdoor pool/no fees; indoor pool/fitness center/fees apply). Amenity cards are arranged through the Seabrook Island Amenity office. During the summer there is a full slate of activities on Seabrook, at Freshfields, or Bohicket Marina for young and old alike. Or take a ride to Charleston (25 miles) and enjoy our beautiful city and all it has to offer.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you lose your funds. If able to re-book it, you will receive what we rent it for, minus the $250. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest under the terms of the Rental Agreement.
