Our Windswept Villa is located just a short walk down the path from Kiawah's world-renowned, 10 mile-long beach! The setting is tranquil, and very "Kiawah". We love the beauty of the coastal shingle-styled buildings nestled in the natural setting that draws most of us to Kiawah Island in the first place, and has captured our hearts forever. We enjoy stepping out each morning with a cup of coffee for a walk along the beach. Later in the day we can take our beach chairs and a book and relax next to the ocean. At some point each day we hop on bikes to explore the island along the miles of bike paths that wind through the forest and past amazing seaside cottages, and architecturally stunning mansions. We love that we are not rushed. We know to take our time and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of the island for our short time here. There are no crowds EVER. This Location is Awesome! This Mariners Watch villa is 200 footsteps to the beautiful Kiawah beach! Located on a premier section of Kiawah (East Beach) and is extremely close to the Night Heron Park, 5 Star Sanctuary Hotel, and brand new Nest Cafe and market. The villa is on the 2nd floor (so, no overhead noise), has cathedral ceilings (spacious feel), and has

Easy bike ride or walk from the beach to the Sanctuary Hotel's outdoor bar and dining area. It is also a big convenience if you are renting a bike from the resort to walk over to the park if you need a rental or replacement.

The villa has a premier rating (sold surface counters, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances) along with updated cabinets, a bar area, a spacious shower, flat screen TVs, new mattresses, and new furniture. This intimate, comfortable cottage is pristine and crisp and begs for you to relax. It is a second home - all you need to pack are your personal items.It has a beautiful lagoon and sunset view from the screened porch and deck. The deck has been expanded to provide room to enjoy the long lagoon view. There is a table suitable for dining on the screened in porch. The deck with the lagoon view was enlarged in Jan, 2014, The cottage was modified when it was built to offer an extra wall of windows which brings the lovely tropical setting even closer to our guest. There is patio furniture and a gas grill which are great for chilling out after a day on the beach. The lagoon attracts some interesting birds and wildlife - a haven for admiring nature. The beach is about a 7 minute walk from the cottage. On route to the beach is a pool which guests of the Greenslake Cottages have access to with no charge. This upscale cottage was completely remodeled in 2006- hardwood floors, granite counters,etc. The open den and dining room combination provide a panoramic view of the lagoon through the sliding glass doors and windows. Equipped with wifi , color hi def TV's with DVR, DVD, and stereo/CD in the den. The well equipped kitchen has been enlarged with a dine on bar and has ample space for a gourmet chef to do their magic.
Ceiling fans are in the den, and each bedroom to provide added cooling along with the central HVAC after a day on the beach. Solar tubes bring extra light into the baths and kitchen area.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with a shutter head board . The mattress just begs you to sleep late. There is an en suite bath with large tiled walk in shower off of the master. On a built in armoire sits a 32" TV in the master bedroom. A sliding door offers light and a lagoon view.

The restful guest bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and a bath with tub + shower. There is a 20'" flat-screen TV in this bedroom . Plantation shutters in this bedroom enhance the cottage atmosphere.

The cottage has central air and heat and has plantation ceiling fans in both bedrooms in addition to the screen porch and den.

The cottage is in the West Beach area at the end of a cul de sac, which provides privacy and access to twenty miles of bike paths with one leading to Freshfields Village for shopping and ( ice cream ). It has a canopy of a beautiful live oak tree that frames the cottage entrance. The Cougar Point Golf Course is just a few minutes walk as is the lovely 10 mile hard packed sand beach.

Full size washer and dryer. Thorough cleaning between guests help provide safety to prevent the spread of contagious diseases. We live in Charleston close to Kiawah and are nearby in case our guest have needs. We are also able to keep our cottage in pristine condition to be sure our guest feel the wonderful...vacation feeling. This cottage is managed and booked by the owner.

One balcony off the open living area is covered and includes a dining table and chairs seating four. The other balcony is open and has a private entrance from the main bedroom with two lounge chairs. This lovely villa is located on the first floor with an easy convenient beach access.
The kitchen opens into the living area and is fully equipped with high end stainless steel appliances. The living area is large with comfortable seating and large T.V. The large bedroom includes a King Bed with a second T.V. and plenty of closet space. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with bench, rain shower head and a hand held shower wand. The kitchen offers six bar stools with a large island. The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances offering all the comforts of home for dining and cooking. There were abundant turtles, waterfowl, and small alligators to watch in and out of the water. The bike ride to the beach was quick and simple. I would recommend for older guests driving to the Sanctuary and using their beach access. We did this for my disabled husband. The resturants were excellent. This first-floor renovated Kiawah Island vacation rental is a Turtle Point Villa that features two bedrooms, a sunroom, and great golf and lagoon views. The villa is a six-minute walk or two-minute bike ride from Kiawah's spectacular beach.

The villa was recently renovated and has many updates, including beautiful new flooring throughout. The coastal-inspired décor and comfortable furnishings make this villa perfect for your Kiawah Island vacation!

The living area features a comfortable couch, love seat, swivel chair, 65” Smart TV which allows guests to access Netflix, Hulu, and other apps with personal subscriptions. HDMI also provides guests with the ability to connect personal gaming consoles and laptops. Enjoy your favorite movie or sporting event with surround sound provided by the Bose Soundbar. Step out through the sliding glass doors onto the open back deck where you will find plenty of seating. Enjoy the fresh air while watching wildlife in the lagoon or the golfers play on Turtle Point Golf Course. The living room opens to the dining area that has a table and chairs for 6. This stunning three bedroom luxury property offers some of the best lagoon views of any villa on Kiawah Island. From the moment you want in the front door, you are graced by the well thought out renovations and tasteful decor. The gourmet kitchen was completely remodeled and redesigned to make best use of the space. Additionally the kitchen was appointed with custom high quality cabinets, gorgeous granite countertops, all stainless steel appliances and tile backsplash. Adjacent to the kitchen is the spacious living and dining room. Anyone who knows Kiawah appreciates that the three bedroom Turtle Point villas have arguably the best floor plan of any villa and this is evident with the large family room and all the natural light which comes from the windows and sliding glass doors. In this area, the lagoon views are ever present, but the privacy is unmatched. Flanking the family room is a peaceful sunroom. Close the pocket doors for privacy and quiet or open them to invite this space into the entire villa. Upstairs is the master retreat, which has peaceful views as well as ample closet space. These villas are known to have the most storage as any on Kiawah and no other place in 4925 Turtle Point is this more evident than the master suite. The renovations didn't stop with the first floor and are present throughout the villa and in the master suite too. There is a large subway tiled stand up shower, a two sink vanity and a deep soaking tub. Additionally, there is a private balcony which offers long lagoon views, which is only accessible from the master bedroom. Located on the first floor are two additional bedrooms both with private bathrooms. This villa is located in West Beach village and a quick walk(5-7 minutes) or bike ride (2-3 minutes) to the 10 miles of beach. Enjoy privacy while sitting on the upstairs deck viewing the wildlife. The Fairway Oaks Villas are located adjacent to the Cougar Point Golf Course (one of the five destination courses) which hosts the fabulous restaurant, The Ryder Cup Bar. Our villa is set up like a townhome so there will only be you above and below. The first floor consists of three bedrooms. A king bedroom that is connected by a bathroom to a twin bedroom. The living room, kitchen, and dining room are all open to each other. There is brand new furniture and a 75" Smart Samsung television and the kitchen is state of the art with all the supplies you would need to create a top notch meal. The dining table can easily seat eight and there is an extension leaf available if you would need more space. This villa is equipped with high speed internet and all smart televisions.
