- "Booked this as needed to be able to go to a workshop and too far to drive. Arrived easily, parking was easy. The check in was very smooth, and I had arrived in time to order food. The food was freshly cooked, staff service was a little slow but the bar was initially quiet. The room was clean and nicely furnished, very comfortable. I had paid for breakfast, there was the usual array of pastries, cereals and fruit. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast was not as good, food was left standing for too long, the scrambled eggs had seen better days, I avoided the cooked breakfast the next day. With the breakfast area being quiet, maybe less wasteful and more appetising would be to consider fresh cooking to order. Everything else was excellent the staff were friendly and helpful "

- "The Marquis has just completed renovations, and while there were a few teething problems, the staff was wonderful. They could not have done more to make our stay wonderful. Special shout out to David, Ryann, Lucy, Emma, Kate, Annabelle, Carmin, and everyone else we came in contact with, all were wonderful. The spa and pool were not even mentioned as they just opened, the facility is one of the best we ever visited, again with the staff to match. We are looking forward to our next stay."
