The space
Because of the Covid-19 situation we have changed a couple of things we normally do and trust that you will understand the reason for it. During the outbreak period (until the government has announced that all Covid restrictions are lifted) we are not supplying bed linen/ pillows / duvets or towels and ask that you bring your own. Please confirm that this is OK with you. We can supply if there is a problem but will have to charge an additional £70.00 to have them professionally cleaned after you leave.

Between guests we will give the property a chemical clean, which involves 'fogging' the entire property to remove almost all germs including the bed mattress and frames. This ensures that the property is as Covid free as we can make it. We have also provided additional anti bacterial soaps, additional wipes and disinfectant sprays for you to use.

Waltham Way is, in our opinion, a hidden gem in Frinton. As you are 'Inside the Gates', take a five minute stroll down our tree lined Avenue (that hosts many fine examples of Art Deco houses) to the famous Greensward where you can relax, picnic or sit on one of the many benches looking out to sea, or wander down the hill to the beautiful beach. It's a ten minute stroll to the station, and by using the cut through at the end of the road you can also be in Connaught Avenue, with all its character shops, within a 15 minute stroll (or half an hour along the beach or paddling in the sea if it's a lovely day). Alternatively, you can wander in the other direction and within 30 minutes can be enjoying a day out at Walton Pier with all of its fabulous traditional family fun and ice cream parlours!

Boasting two good sized bedrooms each with 4'6" double beds, the apartment can comfortably sleep up to four people.

Double glazing throughout, a ceiling fan in the lounge, free standing fans in the bedrooms and quick to warm central heating means the property is never too cold or too hot.

The good sized lounge / diner with TV with Netflix, DVD player and dimmable wall lights is a lovely place to relax at the end of the day. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and the bathroom has bath / shower with screen. There is also a garden area to the rear of the property just for your use where you can unwind with a glass of wine as the sun goes down.

Fibre broadband Wi-Fi is included.

As well as allocated off street parking for 1 car there are no parking restrictions in the surrounding area.

After two years spending nearly every weekend there and loving it so much we decided to move in and live there full time and have had three happy years there. The beach at Frinton is one of the most popular in Essex. It has a shelving profile which is divided up by a series of timber groynes and the sand at Frinton is perfect for making sandcastles - nice and firm. When you enter Byfields, you are immediately aware of the spaciousness and grandeur of this old home (but with lots of modern touches). The entrance hall is light and bright and provides access to all the downstairs rooms:

The formal living room – new, comfortable lounges/chairs surround a gas log burning fire, and in the bay window overlooking the garden is an old partner's desk - for those that need or want to work or just a peaceful spot to catch up on some admin.

The snug is the heart of the home – a luxe velvet L-Shaped lounge, SMART tv and gas log fire mean this is the optimal place to snuggle up with friends and family for movie nights – with French doors opening out to the terrace and extraordinary garden vista. The snug is also home to many games, puzzles, and books for guest enjoyment.

Formal Dining Room – for those special occasions, this antique table can sit 12, so whether it be a birthday celebration, a Christmas dinner or a Sunday lunch, this room can provide a regal air, and the great storage means that there is no shortage of elegant table settings.

Family Kitchen – the epicentre of most family homes, and this is no exception.
