Dozens of good-quality restaurants within 5 blocks. Parking is extremely easy, we parked right in front of the entrance for a few euros every evening. Drawbacks: No air conditioning, room gets hot even with windows open when it's 23 °C outside. Shower spews water everywhere in the bathroom. Towels are small and few. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner within the hotel, although they'll gladly pour you a beer or several. In all, lacking a Hilton property in Kalmar, this is as close as it gets with the only material downgrade being lack of air conditioning! Airline crews flying into/out of KLR stay here.
