We fell in love with Belmar several years ago and look to share our experience with our guests for the summer months. Our goal is to offer a vacation home where our guests feel like they are home. We worked to ensure everything you need is available, from books, games, TVs, things needed to make dinner, grill or entertain with family and friends. If we felt we needed it to do the same we made sure it's available for our guests. Having rented for many years ourselves, we learned what we may have missed or felt we needed to make our time on vacation easy.

We are a short walk to the beach and just as equally a short walk to town. Giving you the opportunity to never get in your car. There are a number of great places to go with family and friends.

We rent this property from Saturday to Saturday, June 27 - August 29. Have an extended family joining you on vacation? Need more rooms? The cottage proved to be spotlessly clean, even when I “dared” to store something on high cabinet shelves in the kitchen. I would give it six stars for cleanliness if I could. The cottage was excellently equipped, with all the pans, bedding, coffee filters, etc that we needed during our stay. The grill had plenty of propane. The owners were very friendly and accessible. Although they lived in the cottage next door on some days, we still felt like we had full privacy. Speaking of great privacy, this house has a town park behind it, instead of more houses. The Spring Lake beach is an easy 0.6 mile walk away, although we often chose to drive. Free parking was plentiful. We had a great week at the shore, and would definitely stay here again."

Come enjoy our relaxing, newly renovated beach house! Sit on the adirondack chairs on the front porch and read a book or BBQ after a long day at the beach on the back deck. The first floor consists of the kitchen, living room, half bath, and laundry area with sliding glass doors to the large backyard. Our large backyard has a grill, an outdoor shower, fire pit and plenty more room for fun. The 2nd floor consists of 3 bedrooms with balconies and a full bathroom (with a bathtub). We have a long driveway and we’re an easy 10 min walk to the beach. We hope you will enjoy relaxing in our beach house with a 5-star experience!

A few items to note: We do not provide linens and towels. We recommendt ordering linens and towels from Coast Linen Services if you are unable to bring your own. July & August are weekly rentals only. Age minimum for rental is over 25 years old.

The place is more spacious than I even thought from the pictures and the backyard is the perfect place to hangout, read a book, and unwind after a long day. The owners were so communicative which made for an easy and stress free vacation. The listing says it fits 8 but I think the house can comfortably sleep 6 given the beds/space. It’s close to the beach, Main Street, bars, and restaurants. I would book again every year!!"

MY place is a two bedroom with queen size beds with a finished basement with two twin beds with separate air condition and heating, two bath with attic, finished basement, and washer and dryer including all linings and amenities along with free off street parking. The Beach Home is two and a half blocks away from the Beach/ Boardwalk. My place is good for couples, solo adventures, business travelers, families (with children),and big groups. Walking distance to Belmar main street where you can find shopping and great restaurants. Belmar ( NJ transit ) within 15min walking distance which is approximately just over a 1hr 1/2 to Manhattan(NYC Penn station). Avon by the sea is a 10 min car ride. Asbury park is a 20 min car ride

- "One the night we checked in, the property had one small air conditioner in the family room that did not reach the bedroom. It was 85 degrees in the bedroom at midnight. I texted the owner and he said he would refund our money for the remaining 3 nights. We left because it was too hot to sleep there. The next day he refused to answer our texts or respond to any of our messages on VRBO. Unfortunately we were unable to get a refund even though he promised us one. DO NOT STAY HERE. The owner does not keep his word. "
