Nestled on top of the mountain overlooking the North Fork of the New River valley, Trout Lily Cabin is convenient to everything that Ashe County has to offer, including The New River, downtown shopping, dining, and outdoor activities.
The main level offers an open concept with a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, dining area with seating for 6, and a cozy living room with a free-standing wood stove. This area boasts vaulted ceilings, plenty of windows allowing long range views of the mountains, and a smart TV. Step out onto the wrap around porch to enjoy the long range mountain vistas and ample seating for you and your guests! The covered deck is also equipped with a gas grill and a picnic table so you can cook and enjoy a meal all while admiring the view. If you have been to the mountains, you will understand that though the store and town are about 5 miles away, it takes 12-15 minutes to get there. We were very pleased. It is pretty and better than the pictures can represent. My children 4 and 10 loved it as much as we did. It was great to slow down and just enjoy the area. Couldn’t have asked for a better week."

Riverwood Retreat is a secluded cabin that sits atop a 300 foot cliff overlooking a horseshoe bend in the New River with breathtaking long range views. Inside, the cabin comfortably accommodates four people with a King Bedroom and attached full bath and a Queen bedroom with an adjacent full bath. The cabin will allow for up to eight people total with a pull-out sofa bed and futon in the living area. The cabin has a large living area with a gas fireplace, full kitchen and washer and dryer. Wi-Fi, Cable TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player and Bluetooth Stereo are all provided.

Outside, enjoy the large wrap around deck, listen to the river rapids from below and experience views from the hot tub that you will never forget. Helton Creek Guest Cabin is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 300 sq ft cabin, perfect for a quiet week or weekend on a state maintained trout stream, Helton Creek. Just imagine fishing on the creek, then grilling out or relaxing in the wonderful hot tub while listening to the creek music. The back porch is a stone's throw from the creek. In the winter you can sit in the hot tub and watch the creek go by and in the summer, there is enough shade to relax on the porch and feel the cool breeze, build a fire in the fire pit, or try your luck at catching a nice trout for dinner.
This guest cabin is great for the extended family or a couple/family who may want to rent it by itself at more reasonable rates, with or without renting the main cabin. It features 1 bedroom (queen bed), 1 bath, a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, and kitchenette with all utensils, hot plate, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave/ large convection oven. A modern mountain retreat in Ashe County, NC’s amazing High Country. The serene property is nestled in the forest with amazing mountain views. This 1200 Sq ft house sleeps six. One king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and a very comfortable, high-end queen pull out sofa. Bed linens are top quality European fabrics.Two elegant bathrooms are creatively designed to provide privacy for all.

This is a new vacation rental house on gated property in a remote corner of Ashe County, North Carolina. The Sugar Maple was completed in November 2020 and is elegantly furnished inside and out. The 18 foot vaulted ceiling great room has a wood burning fireplace.

The main floor is elevated in the trees, with covered decks and mountain views. The south deck has dining seating for six, and the west deck, which includes the cedar hot tub, has very plush and comfortable seating for entertaining and relaxation. Stairs lead from the west deck sitting area to a globe fire pit, nestled in the forest and to the lower sitting area. There is also a north deck that features a large sectional sofa, a chaise lounge, and a gas grill.

The kitchen is designed for cooking and appointed with all necessary tools. There is indoor dining seating for eight.

The ground level features "The HIdeway", a room with a big screen TV, a full size sofa and chair, a small refrigerator, and a small pool table/table tennis/hockey game table. Vintage neon signs and decorative ceiling tiles create a really cool place to "hideaway". Outside this room is a covered area for entertaining and dining, complete with a picnic table and four adirondack chairs .

HISTORIC CLARK MILLER ROLLER MILL- A Unique Experience! A working mill from 1915 to 1940. Carefully restored as a vacation get-a-way while preserving the industrial aspects of the mill and historic structure.
