Note: This listing has stairs and this is a self check-in property. That means that you will let yourself with your unique code through the coded doors. I will not be there to greet you, but available if you need assistance or something arises.
The apartment does have a private entrance, however, it is through a shared mudroom once you enter our home. Once you enter, you will see a door that says "pure vida" with a coded knob. We decorate for most holidays.

You'll be minutes away from plenty of restaurants and bars, some of our favorites being JJ Coopers, Billy's Beach Café, the iconic Laurel Diner, and Gino's Pizza. The beach and boardwalk are also a short walk away, as is the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) with direct service to New York City. The West End of Long Beach is also well-known for it's bars and restaurants, and is easily accessible with Uber, Lyft, or Long Beach's dedicated taxi service.

At the property, you'll have access to plenty of free parking as well as a private entrance to the apartment. Inside you'll find a comfortable living room, with a large TV, perfect for streaming your favorite shows and movies. The kitchen has all the appliances and cookware you'll need, as well as complimentary coffee. The 2 bedrooms are cozy and are supplied with plenty of linens, pillows, and blankets. We are a very short walk away from the Long Island Railroad (LIRR), with direct service to Manhattan. The train ride is 50 minutes, and makes for a great time to plan all the things you're going to do in NYC! We also have Uber, Lyft, and a dedicated Long Beach Taxi service for getting around the local area.

This is the upstairs unit of a 2 family house. There is a young family in the bottom unit. We ask all guests to adhere to quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. We welcome groups looking to have fun, but just request that people are respectful of the family living in the bottom unit.

The second room has a pull-out couch. You will find extra linen for the pull-out couches in the dresser in the second bedroom. Pillows can be found in the closets. The dresser in this room also contains extra towels.

Under no circumstances do we allow smoking in the house. Smoking is allowed outside, far away from the entrances and windows of the house. We ask guests to refrain from tossing cigarettes onto the property.

The Neighborhood

We are located on the East end of Long Beach, ocean side, just one block off of where the boardwalk ends. We are close enough to the main attractions, but just far enough to enjoy the calm of a beach town. Near Sea Esta Inn, you'll find beach goers barefoot and on bikes, surfers headed geared up to catch some waves and the aroma of the beach all around you. This is such a special place!

Local hand made ice cream, movie theater, shops, bars, restaurants, boardwalk, mini golf, and NYC just minutes away!!

Getting Around

- "The apartment was clean and appeared recently updated. The location was great! About a 5 minute walk to the beach and walking distance to bagel place. The owners live in the upstairs apartment and were very nice, great hosts. They were very responsive to all of our questions. On street parking only. We found a spot a few houses down and Ubered around for the weekend. I would highly recommend staying at this property and would go back next time I plan a getaway at Long Beach."

- "The basement apartment on the water is lovely and clean, but we could not lock or close the front door because the wood door swelled in the rain. It was ok the first night, but then when we went to leave the next morning, it would not shut or lock. We had to change our plans and wait in the apartment for several hours until the owners remedied the situation. The second night, we were able to lock and close, but then we weren't able to lock and close it the following morning. Admittedly, it had rained like crazy for three days during our stay, but a basement apartment on the water should probably have an aluminum, not wood, exterior door. Owners were lovely, extremely attentive, and gave us a small credit."

Minimum stay is 29 nights. Swim in ani ground heated pool anytime no limits, enjoy a bbq with all new gas grills, lounge chairs… and indulge in our hot infrared sauna before reading a book on the bay window before a good movie in bed while hearing and seeing the ocean waves.
24/7 security doorman, dog run, One dog permitted, comes with one parking on the upper deck garage. There is a laundry room on the same floor with two washers and two dryers.

- "We booked September 1st to 30th. Host cancelled 1st, 2nd, and 3rd after we booked. Host refunded money, but not VRBO processing fees for her cancellation request! Check in time later than what was advertised. Apartment Not clean or modern! Furniture stained and dirty. Closet doors falling off. Shower hardware rusted and broken. Faucet in bathroom sink broken and loose. King mattress on top of a filthy, stained, and old Queen box spring, on top of a dirty Queen bed frame. Dining room chairs and couch stained, dirty and old. Inside of kitchen cabinets dirty. Bathrooms moldy. I texted and asked host to come over, she wouldnt. I called her, she didnt pick up. We texted back and forth. She texted to evacuate, call Vrbo for refund, which we did. We arrived on September 4th after 4pm, we left September 4th before midnight. Most of that time was spent unpacking, repacking, texting with host, and on phone with VRBO. The host texted us to leave apartment locked and questioned where we would leave her keys, which we left with front desk security. The host continued to text us and texted us that she told security not to let us back in. VRBO made aware of all the above. This property had no reviews or star rating, but has been with VRBO for years. When I called VRBO September 4th, the VRBO employee told me there have been other complaints. The location and views are accurate, but the pictures of the apartment are not. Again, we never received refund."
