This is a one bedroom apartment located on a quiet block in Amityville. It's close to all. Two minutes to the Southern State highway and five minutes to the LIRR. Also less than ten minutes to Farmingdale State University. It has a queen size bed and will accommodate a couple or two people. There's a full wall length closet. It has a full kitchen with all the features and stainless steel appliances. There's air conditioning and heating. The bathroom has a full shower. There's also a washer and dryer in the apartment. - "We arrived at the property on July 11, 2022 and stayed through July 17, 2022. The property is surrounded by tall trees and gives you the feeling of being in a secluded area. We loved this! We entered the backyard to gain access to the property and were greeted with a beautiful yard with a variety of flowers in different colors. The lights that light up the backyard at night made the yard look stunning! We were very comfortable the whole time we were there. We did not utilize the backyard too much as we had events to attend, but it was nice to come back at night to see the lights on and sit out under the patio area set in the back of the yard. The GFI outlet in the bathroom did blow out while we were there, but Grace was very responsive and prompt about getting it fixed and replaced in a matter of hours. There was plenty of room in the living area and the beds were comfortable to us. The property served as our home base while we were on LI and we basically just slept and showered at the property (we did no cooking). Its location was central to both Suffolk and Nassau counties and worked perfectly for our needs. We will definitely return to this property in the future as long as it is available when we want to go! Thank you Grace for being such a wonderful host!"

It might be a good idea to mention that in the description.The only thing I would have a negative comment on is the TV set up, with such that it was only in Spanish. I tried to go to settings to see if I could change the language but to no avail. It really wasn't a problem for me as I wasn't there to watch television. Suggestion would be to have it set up in English for upcoming guests. Would definitely stay there without question the next time while I'm on Long Island if it's available. I would recommend it..."

- "The home was fine for what I needed it for- basically a couple extra beds for people visiting. Very hot when arrived and took hours to cool off (but it was unbearably hot day). Main areas of house clean enough but entryway clearly not cleaned in some time. Kitchen very lacking in supplies and broken cabinet door made getting anything difficult. Fridge very clean. Couch had tears in the material. Outdoor space was not really useable bc of other tenants and their stuff."

Less a home, more a private and tranquil beach resort. The property sits on the open water and is situated on a private cove on the Great South Bay. The open water, open floor plan and open bar all open up to the outdoors, and the amazing water views that span the entire home for true, indoor outdoor living. A fully-FULLY equipped state of the art kitchen covers it all. The primary bedroom is huge and epic!, the second primary is comfort class and chic, both featuring private patios and exceptional waterfront views!

- "We've rented many times from VRBO and this was BY FAR the best property we were lucky enough to book. The photos on the website really don't do it justice. The heated pool and jacuzzi are immaculately clean and the temperatures of both are perfect (and adjustable from an indoor panel). We would swim in the pool and then go into the hot jacuzzi. It was so relaxing. The views from the screened-in porch and the deck of the en suite are unbeatable. I took the recommendation of the owner, Chris, and watched the sunrise from the deck with a cup of coffee. After I did it once, I had to do it again - just incredible. The landscaping around the pool provided complete privacy while swimming. We loved watching all of the activity in the harbor - jetskis, hoverboards, kayaks, paddleboards, and, of course, boats. The kitchen was high-end and extremely well-equipped. We barbecued most nights while enjoying cocktails and the breathtaking views. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept great while at the house. My husband especially enjoyed the huge TV's all over the house. Neighbors were rarely seen, but when we did see them, they were friendly. The owner was very responsive and was kind enough to accommodate our specific requests. The two weeks we spent at the house were not enough. This rental is an absolute gem, and I am already looking forward to our next visit."
