Obviously if you need more choices, you can always head down down to other towns or san juan but we loved the local flavors. The owner(Rafael) was super responsive. We had two issues with parking spot and door pin not working. But all was sorted out with little help from Rafael. Overall we had a calm and relaxing stay. We definately would come back again."

The Space:
Our place is equipped with:

- A fully stocked kitchen,
- Air conditioners in every room,

- Internet access, and a SmartTV with Netflix and.
- A DVD player for your entertainment in the living room and master bedroom as well.
- There's no cable in the unit but the internet works perfectly.
- We also provide an electric BBQ, perfect for cooking on the balcony or in the gazebo.
- A big plus is that we have a washer/dryer in the apartment for our guests to use.
- Guests have access to all of the resort amenities in the condo complex, including the pool basketball courts, tennis courts, clubhouse, volleyball court, and kids swings.

Kitchen: L-shaped island with tall stools so families can chat over breakfast. Fully equipped with utensils, plus an oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. The ceiling fan in the living room is perfect for a nice breeze thought the apartment and even more so with the crossed ventilation with the windows opened.

There are two bathrooms and we provide basic toiletries such as toilet paper, towel paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If there’s something extra that you need we encourage you to bring your own.

Guest Access:
The complex requires wristbands to be worn when using the resort facilities. All guests must have a bracelet issued by the condo to use the facilities.

Please provide the names of everyone in your group in advance so we can have the bracelets ready for you. The resort fee is $12 per guest and must be paid at check-in (one-time fee).

The condo management is now strictly enforcing a maximum of 8 (Eight) people per condo - including babies and kids. This means that if you already have (8) people in your group, you can not invite friends or family to the resort.

If you will bring an additional person as a 9th guest, you can ask if is possible and we will confirm you the availability. (Bracelet fee is not included with Airbnb payment) Will send a payment request.

Condo management has a "no exceptions" policy - so please do not book this condo if you have more than (9) guests or if vacation plans involve inviting local friends or family to the condo. All guest/visitors names should be submitted 48 hours before arrival. If the condo administration asks you to vacate the condo for not following the rules - there will be no refund.

IMPORTANT:

** Pools are open daily from 8 am thru 11:30 pm. Water fixtures such as slide and water cañons are only open on the weekends.

** We only provide basic toiletries such as toilet paper, towel paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If there’s something extra that you need we encourage you to bring your own.

** We are very proud of the high-security standard in this condo complex, making it one of the top family-friendly places in the area.

** The entire complex is gated, and all residents must be identified at the guardhouse in order to enter. We have a STRICT NO VISITOR POLICY. We will be needing the names of all the guests staying at the property 48 hrs prior check in.

** Due to the HOA regulations no extra guests are allowed after check in nor names can be exchanged after check in.

** There are (2) assigned parking spaces per unit- so whether you rent one large van or several, you'll always find your own parking space.

** The unit is located on a 2ND FLOOR. There are a flight of stairs to access the apartment!

** There are several supermarkets between the airport and Aquatika, but the most convenient is the 24/7 Walmart Supercenter at the intersection of Rt. 3 and Rt 188 on your way to Aquatika.

Important: A $200 refundable security deposit is required as a protection against any potential damage. Our team will contact you after your booking is confirmed to arrange the payment. Deposit is released within 7 days post-checkout if no damage occurs.

Guests have access to all resort amenities in the condo complex, including five pools, hot tub, kids’ pool, water slides and even a "lazy river', basketball courts, mini golf, tennis courts, several modern playgrounds, clubhouse, and finally the Beach. The beach area is gated and requires a key (provided) for access. All guests are required to wear bracelets (issued by security) while at the property. Failure to wear the bracelets may result in removal from the complex, without refund.

- "Our family enjoyed our stay in Rafael's beautiful penthouse condo. It was just as pictured, very spacious, with great views of the ocean and the mountain/rainforest. The condo was very clean and has a fully stocked kitchen, with a drip coffee machine and expresso machine (they also provided coffee), spices and plenty of drinkware, dinnerware and pots/pans for the nights cooking in. The complex has 5 pools (the main pool is currently under construction, but did not deter from our swimming options) and just steps away from the small private beach. The pools were never crowded during our stay and beach has sand smooth with calm waters. There is a local bar/restaurant that can be accessed from the beach (opened from 3pm-10pm), it was a nice surprise! The hosts had a great with through communication that lead up to our stay, check in was a breeze and the online handy book with check out process, local attractions and restaurants. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach, taking a dip in the pool and gazing at the stars from the rooftop terrace. Just 15 minutes away you can find multiple groceries, an outlet mall with activities like an indoor track, bowling alley, arcade and rock climbing, Walmart and many restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate staying here again!"

Sandy Cove offers accommodations in Rio Grande, a 18-minute walk from Rio Grande Beach and 1.1 miles from Punta Iglesia Beach. The property is around 17 miles from Museum of Art of Puerto Rico, 22 miles from Fort San Felipe del Morro, and 15 miles from El Yunque Rainforest. Free Wifi is available throughout the property and Punta Uvero Beach is a 10-minute walk away. The accommodation is non-smoking. Barbosa Park is 16 miles from the apartment, while Sagrado Corazon Station is 17 miles away. Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport is 14 miles from the property.

This is the penthouse closest to the beach, plus only 200 feet from the heated pool and clubhouse. It has 10 beds in 5 rooms including 2 kings, 3 fulls, 2 queen sleep sofas, 1 twin sleep sofa and 2 airs: queen + full. All furniture is new. Amazing views of the ocean and mountains from the windows and huge roof deck. You may already know Aquatika is a great resort with 5 pools, 3 jacuzzis, 2 playgrounds, a nice beach and facilities for many sports and games. More on Aquatika benefits is below. First here are 15 reasons why this is the best condo there. I wrote headings in caps so you can skim the headings and read the ones that interest you:

1) RECREATIONAL ITEMS INCLUDED: Aquatika does not provide a basketball, volleyball, soccer ball, tennis rackets or mini-golf clubs and balls for use on its facilities made for those things. Most rental owners also don’t provide those things because of the time and money required. But my condo has all of them ready for your use whenever you want. I also provide a football, air pump, 4 big umbrellas, 5 beach chairs, a large beach blanket, many beach towels, a cooler, many Freeze Ice Paks, a swimming noodle, 2 boogie boards, 2 blow-up floaters and 2 sets of children’s snorkeling gear.

2) ALL NEW: All the interior furniture and artwork are new, the hot water heater and microwave are new and the fridge and AC units are like-new. If you have more than 6 people, the dining table has a leaf to easily expand its size to fit 8 people in 8 matching cushioned chairs or 10 people with two other chairs. Also a free washer and dryer and free detergent in the condo.

3) MANY BEDS, LARGE BEDS: This includes 2 king beds, 2 full-size bunk beds, 2 queen sleeper sofas (one in each of the 2 living rooms) and 2 air mattresses (queen and full). Most rental owners don’t spend the money to buy king beds. They almost never have 2 queen sleep sofas. If they buy bunks, they don’t spend the money for full-sized beds up and down.

There are 3 bedrooms plus one sleep sofa is in the upper living room, which has a lot of privacy, a half bathroom and a large armoire with drawers and hangars for clothing. It’s basically like a 4th bedroom, and can also fit a queen air mattress on the floor. The other sleep sofa is in the downstairs living room. You could have 8 people each with their own bed. Or 10 people with sharing.

4) TOP TIER ENTERTAINMENT: the condo has 3 big-screen 4K TVs with the highest-tier, most expensive cable TV package including lots of English-language channels, plus many free on-demand shows and movies. Most rentals have the lowest tier or average tier TV package. All of my TVs connect to a combined DVR that you can record shows and movies to. All TVs are smart and can stream most services. I also have a dozen card / board games.

5) USEFUL GUIDES: I created a top-notch guide of the best things to do in the region. It would take about 70 days to do everything available, and I've put the best 15% into a guide including map links, booking links, advice and nearby restaurants. I spent about 60 hours making the guide, and it will probably save you over 10 hours of your time. Before you arrive, I also send you directions and a guide to the condo.

6) TOP SPEED INTERNET: Super high-speed, high bandwidth Internet that reaches throughout the condo. It is the most expensive tier. It can handle streaming to multiple TVs plus many people using computers and smart-phones at the same time. Most rentals have a low to medium Internet plan. My condo has never had a problem with cell phone reception. But if you ever have weak reception (or if you want to save minutes on your plan), I have a landline with free unlimited calling in the US and PR.

7) ROOF DECK: Most penthouse roof decks are not very well furnished. My roof deck has 2 lounge chairs, a large couch, 2 regular chairs, 6 cushioned dining table chairs, a dining table and a food serving cart.

8) EASE OF ACCESS: It has a front door keypad password so you don’t have to worry about sharing a key or losing the key. It also lets you check-in whenever you want. This is not a lockbox keypad - for which you would still need to either share a key, or open and close the lockbox each time you come or go. Door keypads are far more convenient.

9) VERY LOADED KITCHEN: It has a super well-stocked kitchen including a huge fridge, new microwave, 2-tier oven, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, blender, rice cooker and lots of pots/pans, cutting knives, serving bowls, cooking implements and dinnerware. Also 1 water filter in the sink and 1 water filter in the fridge, so you save money not buying bottled water. I have a new air fryer and slow cooker, but I don't guarantee these because if they break, it takes time to get a new one.

10) COMFORTS: All rooms have blinds including the living room. The BRs have both blinds and light-blocking shades. All BRs and both living rooms have their own separate AC units / zones that you can set to the exact temperature you want. The showers have very large shower heads, and are stocked with 2 shampoo types, 2 conditioner types and 2 body washes. In all: 4 shampoo types and 4 conditioner types.

11) REALLY BEACHFRONT: It’s one of only 8 beachfront penthouse condos. Beware many owners say “beachfront,” but are not. Check if any photos show views of the beach from the living room and roof deck.

12) CLOSEST: Of the 8 beachfront penthouses, it’s one of the two closest to the beach. It’s also 200 feet from the only heated pool and Aquatika clubhouse.

13) PENTHOUSE BENEFITS: The penthouses have much bigger living rooms, plus a 2nd living room (that can be used as a 4th bedroom), enormous windows, a 3rd bathroom, a huge roof deck and no noise coming from neighbors upstairs. By contrast, the 1st and 2nd floor units have a small living room, no 2nd living room, no 3rd bathroom, no roof deck, small windows, and neighbors’ music, arguments and footsteps above you.

14) FULL OCEAN AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS: My building is one of only a few that face the ocean on the front side (to the east) and face the rainforest mountains on the back side (to the west). By contrast, most Aquatika buildings are north/south, and don’t face either the beach or the mountains. The back sides face low-income neighborhoods, and the front windows face directly at other condos. So you’re looking at other condos that are looking at you. Moreover, they have either no views of the ocean and mountains, or very limited views. 100% of my windows have very nice views of the ocean or the mountains.

15) END UNIT PLUSES: My condo is an end unit, which has 3 benefits: A) 2 extra bedroom windows with lovely ocean views. B) In middle units, on one side you have neighbors 10 feet away PLUS on the other side, you have neighbors directly on the other side of the condo wall. Ends units only have the former, with open space on the other side. In total, my unit only has direct neighbors below, while non-penthouse middle units have neighbors above, below and to the side: they have triple the number of neighbors. C) on a middle unit roof deck, the majority of the wall areas are tall, so you can’t see over them. But the end unit deck has mostly short walls you can see over, and only one tall wall on 1/2 of one side. This makes the views far wider and beautifully stunning.

IMPORTANT: Most resorts charge a nightly resort fee of $40 to $90 per room, with 3 bedrooms being $120 to $180 a night of resort fees, and $600 to $900 for 5 nights. So this rental website is only set up to charge nightly resort fees. Fortunately Aquatika only charges a very low one-time resort fee of $10 per person for the whole stay for a bracelet that must be worn to enter. Since this site can’t handle a one-time resort fee, it isn't included in the rental price.

You need to send me a list of names and pay the fee 7 days before arrival; or within 24 hours if you book within 7 days, or within a half day if you book within 4 days. I’ll email you links to 3 payment method options. Almost all Aquatika rentals do the same approach. You receive the bracelets at the front gate when you arrive.At least one of the names must match a passport of any country, or a driver’s license from PR or North America.

The resort has a limit of 10 people per rental including infants. Naturally this means extra guests can't visit. Otherwise, people can book one condo and have 40 visitors, which would make the facilities too crowded for you. So this protects your enjoyment. At my condo, a base number of guests are included for free, and a small fee exists for each extra guest above that number. Enter your number of guests in the search field, and the price will reflect that.

THE REST IS MORE AQUATIKA INFORMATION:

Aquatika has 5 pools, 3 hot tubs, 2 half-court basketball courts, 2 tennis courts, 4 pickle ball courts, 2 nice playgrounds with tunnel slides, volleyball court, mini-golf course and a huge grass field for soccer, football, frisbee or yoga. There's excellent security that keeps out anyone who's not a guest, so you're very safe.

Aquatika has a semi-private, sandy beach with trees for shade, an exciting water slide open on weekends, and one of the only heated pools in PR, and it’s only 200 feet from the condo. None of the resorts or condo complexes in the eastern third of PR have a heated pool. I know since I have a medical problem that causes no body heat, so a condo with a heated pool was my top factor. FYI: the winding pool is not a lazy river with motion. It's also the coldest pool as the buildings are close and block the sun.

The resort is also close to many stores, restaurants and 4 big supermarkets. It's only 30 minutes from the airport and 20 from the entrance to the El Yunque rainforest park. There's a Walgreens, Marshalls and Walmart 10 minutes away that's open late where you can get just about anything you need. Even if you forget to bring something, you can most likely get it for a very good price nearby.

- "It’s a good place to stay. It has both access to the beach and pools. " - "One of the best experience I haved, great place to stay with all the family. It’s a relax place! Inside the condo complex, you'd never know what the surrounding neighborhood is like. The Aquatika complex is gated with security. Security stays at the gate and doesn't walk around hassling people, which is nice. The place (pools) was mostly empty all week and filled up a little on the weekend. Don't miss drinks and dinner at El Parrila restaurant (5 minute walk down the street), fantastic! It's a very good location if you want to be between Fajardo and San Juan so you can do activities in both those areas. Only one of the hot tubs was heated to a higher temperature (closest to beach end of complex). Pools were open to 1:00am, which was a nice surprise. This unit: very well kept, and the owner is easy to reach and responsive. Three bedrooms, plus an upstairs area with a couch, chair, and (hit-up) pool table. Kids had fun playing. TV upstairs too and in two of the bedrooms. Three bathrooms! (One upstairs). Very strong air conditioning, we kept turning it down, lol. We found putters and golf balls in the closet, which the kids used on the putting course. This unit is on the entrance side of the complex, making it very easy to get out to walk around the neighborhood. It's close the the putt-putt area and one end of the lazy-river pool. It's a long walk to the beach area (maybe 8 minutes), but we were mostly at beaches outside the complex anyway. Beds were very comfortable with quality bedding! Thank you!"

The space

AQUATIKA is just a few minutes away from several local restaurants, beach bars, pharmacies, and mini marts. Major supermarkets, outlets malls and fast-food joints are 5-15 minutes drive from the complex.

Caribbean Breeze is on a second floor overlooking the relaxing river pool and beautiful gardens from its ample balcony equipped with an outdoor sectional sofa and a breakfast nook. The property features plenty of space for a large family or group of friends.

Caribbean Breeze has 3 bedrooms; master room with private bathroom, queen size bed and Smart TV. Two additional rooms; one with a queen size bed and another with two twin beds plus a shared full bathroom. The three bedrooms have very comfortable mattresses and high-quality linen.

The living room area has a sofa and a Smart TV.

Our unit is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with all the essentials you will need to feel at home. We provide shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, pool and bath towels, smart TVs, George Foreman BBQ Electric Grill and plenty of seating and table space to eat, read or get some work done.

The kitchen is fully equipped with very modern appliances and a dishwasher. It is fully stocked to whip up the perfect meal. The unit has air conditioning in EVERY single space. This condo is also equipped with FREE High-Speed internet and Wi-Fi throughout the entire apartment, making this condo a great option for remote workers.

Guest access

You will have access to the entire AQUATIKA complex and all the amenities it has to offer including pools, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and mini golf courts, and direct beach access. Our place is well stocked with all the equipment you need to enjoy these activities. In short, everything you need to make the best of your stay.

BEACH ACCESS AND EQUIPMENT:

The beach access is right there at the end of the complex with a special key to enter and exit the beach area. We provide the key to the gate that gives you access to the beach, but please be advised that if this key is lost or not returned at the time of checkout, you will be charged a $100.00 replacement fee for the key.

BEACH GEAR IS INCLUDED!! We provide beach towels, chairs, toys, a small cooler, and a beach wagon with enough room to tote all these around the complex for a family fun day.

Other things to note:

🚨 AQUATIKA has a strict access control policy to facilities. Upon confirmation of the reservation, guests must provide the names of those who will be occupying the villa. Failure to do so, may result in delays at check in time or security can deny your entrance. Per Aquatika’s policy, the maximum capacity for each apartment is 8 quests. The only exception to the rule is up to two infants (0-2ys) in addition to the eight guests. Only registered guests may access the complex. NO VISITORS are allowed.

🚨 The Aquatika complex requires that all guests wear a resort style wristband during their stay. The wristbands will be provided to guests upon checking in with security guards. These wristbands must be always worn, this way the Complex Security can identify authorized Guests. Don’t worry, we cover the administrative fee for the wristbands!!

🚨 We provide 1 bath towel per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.

🚨 We provide the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include body wash, shampoo/conditioner, hand soap, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, dish soap, and 1 dish sponge. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

Aquatika 2303 is located in Loiza, just a 17-minute walk from Punta Uvero Beach and 18 miles from Museum of Art of Puerto Rico. This beachfront property offers access to mini-golf, free private parking, and free Wifi. The apartment provides an outdoor swimming pool and private check-in and check-out. There is a house battery that can keep the apartment running (excluding fridge, stove and AC) for about 8 hours and then solar panels to recharge the battery. Owner was in constant contact as we worked through the process. Luckily for us power was back on in less than 24 hours.Overall, this is an excellent home base to explore the island. Our Top level apartment is located at Malibu complex between SJU airport and the Rain Forest in the northeast side of the island. Enter the apartment and enjoy the magnificent oceanfront view. Nothing between you and the ocean.
The Dining room sits comfortably six guests. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans and silverware. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are located at main level. The Master bedroom faces the Ocean with Queen bed, private bath and TV.
Going up the spiral staircase you find a studio area with TV, futton bed, kitchenette and private bathroom with shower. The french and modern doors open to a huge terrace area equipped with a grill and dining set for afternoon cookouts. Sit and relax at night in this area to be amazed by the open sky with lots of stars on clear nights and the soothing sounds of the ocean. All you need to bring is your food groceries, bathing suit and sandals. Our apartment has the rest. Peaceful atmosphere and relaxation awaits for you.

The area around the apartment complex is mainly residential, but it is a short drive from the community of Piñones, a very popular part of Loíza and known for its local restaurants and nightlife. Beautiful Beachfront Resort Villa features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with two free assigned parking spaces. The living-room area has two 68" ceiling fans and a 70" LED Smart TV with many apps such as Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime and cable TV with a BOSE Sound Bar that you can also pair with your phone to listen your favorite music. The Aquatika 2303 apartment has private and comfortable spaces for guests. You can enjoy three bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath. It also has a beautiful kitchen, dining room for eight diners, living room and family room. At the top, you can enjoy an open terrace, perfect for your family nights.

There is nothing between you, the sand, and the water! You will love waking up to a quiet cup of coffee, plunging into one of the many pools, or simply enjoying the sun and breeze at the beach. This beautiful and spacious vacation condo has over 1,500 SF of indoor space and features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We provide linens, towels, and everything you need to cook a gourmet meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a queen bed and its own bathroom, the 2nd bedroom has another queen bed and the third bedroom has a full bed and bunk beds (twin). The condo has internet access (with high-speed WI-FI). There is also free WI-FI available in the clubhouse, which is just a few steps from the condo. There is a TV in the living room and another one in the master bed room. Both are equipped with "Chromecast" to allow you to stream your favorite shows and movies from your laptop computer or mobile device. We have toys for the kids and most of the beach accessories you will need for a trip to the beach.

Air Conditioning is available throughout the whole condo along with ceiling fans. But please be mindful of Puerto Rico's fragile energy grid and high energy costs and turn off when not in use.

The community has a very high standard of security. The entire complex is gated and all residents/visitors must be identified at the guardhouse prior to entry.

There are 2 assigned parking spaces for registered guests - so, you'll always find your own parking space just outside the condo.

Guests have access to all of the resort amenities in the condo complex, including five pools, hot tub, kiddy pool, water slides and even a "lazy river', basketball courts, mini golf, tennis courts, several playgrounds, clubhouse, and finally the Beach. The beach area is gated and requires a key (provided) for access.

Aquatika Resort Fess are already included. All guests are required to wear bracelets (issued by security) while in property. Failure to wear the bracelets may result in removal from the complex, without refund.

Through our digital guidebook, guests are provided with check-in and access instructions, rules (including community), checkout procedures and additional information about the unit and the community (restaurants, activities, etc.). As always, we are available by phone or message to assist with any questions or concerns.

Major cellphones providers from the US work just fine in Puerto Rico. Some small phone companies, older Verizon contracts, and some 'pre-paid' contracts are subject to roaming – so, it's best to check with your cellphone provider.

Our maximum occupancy is 6 guests.. Please be mindful that babies, even newborns, count towards that limit. Guests are not allowed to bring visitors onto the community.

Also appreciated the little touches like coffee and a few beers left behind. Great when you get in at 1am. As someone who owns a trophy home myself I know how hard it is to have everything working perfectly. Our only complaint is the fan in the bathroom servicing the two children's bedrooms. This is our lovely home away from home. Our kids have grown and we would love to rent our apartment to families that will enjoy Aquatika as we do. The complex is perfect for big families traveling to Puerto Rico that want the same accommodations they have home.

The condo is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, air conditioners in every room and in the living room, ceiling fans in the living room, internet access, and a SmartTV with Netflix for your entertainment in the living room and master bedroom as well. There's no cable in the unit but internet works perfect. We also provide an electric BBQ, perfect for cooking in the balcony or even in one of the 7 gazebos throughout the complex. A big plus is that we have a washer/dryer in the apartment for our guests to use. There is also free WI-FI available in the clubhouse which is just a few steps from the condo. Additionally, there is a large-screen TV in the clubhouse for major sporting events that are much more fun when sharing the experience with an enthusiastic local audience. Guests have access to all of the resort amenities in the condo complex, including several pools (5), water slides, 'river pool', basketball courts, tennis courts, clubhouse, mini golf, volleyball court, soccer yard and kids swings.

Master bedroom: Spacious queen sized bed, your own 32-inch smart TV and a private bathroom for your ultimate convenience and comfort.

2nd bedroom: Comfortable queen bed with natural light and blackout windows, perfect for sleeping late.

3rd bedroom: Perfect for kids. Two twin-sized-bunk beds that will fit 4 guests.

Kitchen: L-shaped island with tall stools so families can chat over breakfast. Fully equipped with utensils, plus and oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The ceiling fan is perfect for a nice breeze thought the apartment. We only provide basic toiletries such as toilet paper, towel paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If there’s something extra that you need we encourage you to bring your own.

We are very proud of the high standard of security in this condo complex, which makes it one of the top family-friendly places in the area. The entire complex is gated, and all residents/visitors must be identified at the guardhouse in order to enter. The beach area is gated and locked each evening. Beach gate is open from 5 am to 9 pm.

There are 2 assigned parking spaces per unit- so whether you rent one large van or several couples rent their own cars, you'll always find your own parking space.

The unit is located on a FIRST FLOOR. UNIT 8001 Right in front of the water park.

One of the conveniences we have is that you won't need a key. Once you check in into the unit, we are always available by phone to help with any questions and if there is an issue that needs attention at the condo, we can make arrangements for any maintenance needed. When you leave, you can leave appliances off, so you can go directly to the airport on your way home.

There are several supermarkets between the airport and Aquatika, but the most convenient is the 24/7 Walmart Supercenter at the intersection of Rt. 3 and Rt 188 on your way to Aquatika. There is also a mini-mart just outside of the gate at Aquatika and a Pharmacy down the road by the Villas del Mar complex. Walmart super center is a 15-min drive from Aquatika and is open 24/7.

Renting your own car is highly recommended. Nonetheless if you don't rent a car, there is a flat-rate taxi fare from the airport to Loiza of $100-180 (subject to increase without notice - so check before you get into the taxi). There can be small surcharges for extra luggage or nighttime service from 10pm - 6am, tolls, or more than 5 passengers. If you have any questions, ask the taxi dispatcher who will give you a receipt for the fixed price of the trip before you get into the cab. Tipping is at your discretion but is normally about 10%.
Unfortunately Uber rarely works in the island this is why we highly recommend renting a car.

The condo complex requires wristbands to be worn when using the resort facilities. All guests must have a bracelet issued by the condo to use the facilities.
Please provide the names of everyone in your group in advance so we can have the bracelets ready for you. Resort fee is $10 per guest and must be paid at check-in (one-time fee).

The condo management is now strictly enforcing a maximum of 9 (NINE) people per condo - including babies. This means that if you already have 9 people in your group, you can not invite friends or family to the resort. If you only have 4 people staying in your group, you could invite 5 additional friends/family but would have to get bracelets for them. It must be notified in advance prior check in. **(Bracelet fee is not included with VRBO payment. It must be paid at check in)**

Condo management has a 'no exceptions' policy - so please do not book this condo if you have more than 9 guests or if vacation plans involve inviting local friends or family to the condo. If the condo administration asks you to vacate the condo for not following the rules - there will be no refund.

Disclaimer regarding electricity and water

In September 2017 Puerto Rico was directly hit by Hurricane Maria. Unfortunately our power grid has suffered significant damage after the hurricane and over the years. Power and water outages are extremely common in the island and may last from a few minutes to a few hours. Sometimes power goes once a week or sometimes once a month, it’s completely out of our control. Elite Property Management will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption of water or electrical services. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances we will refund consumed nights. By booking this unit we understand that you read all of our listing descriptions and that you are aware of the situation.

The Space:
The property is a multi-family triplex, which means it consists of three separate units that are attached to each other. This listing is for House #1/Unit #1 which is the main house with 3Bed and 2 Baths. It has unbelieveable wraparound balcony views of El Yunque and Spanish villas in the mountains. You also will have amazing pool views from the balcony. Lastly, you will also have the front yard all to yourself and group for kids to play in.

As for the pool, it is shared among the three units.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire House #1, the surrounding balconies and the shared pool and pool area.

Other Things to Note:
Once you book, we send you a discount account code for the major rental companies that gives you 20-30% off! It gets sent to you about 20 minutes after you book I believe. Once you get the code, you can book your rental car directly with the Hertz, Budget, National, or Enterprise. We do not book the car for you.

On a different note, please keep in mind that this property is located in a mountain area with a breathtaking view, one of the best of Rio Grande, due this reason in this area it is normal to find different species of insects like flies, ladybugs, spiders, mosquitoes and lizards, etc. Nonetheless, they are harmless and we invite you to enjoy all our facilities designed especially for living the best experience for you.

We spray for bugs with a professional on a regular basis, please be aware that our place is located in a forest area, and eliminating them completely is challenging.
When the rainy season starts (mostly June - October but it rains a lot in Rio Grande), we highly recommend you keep your doors closed to prevent mosquitoes from entering.
