- "Beautiful stay. " - "This is a charming place. The “bungalow” that we stayed in was very quaint. The service was so welcoming and I saw some of them interacting later on and you can tell they enjoy their job and being there. The grounds are well cared for. There are many roosters walking around, as all over the island. They are pretty vocal but I found it amusing. The bar there is wonderful. They have breakfast there as well. I’m super bummed that they close down on Mon/Tuesday but we’re lucky enough to enjoy it on our first night. A lot of classy locals come to the bar, which is telling. They all know the bartender well. It’s in a great location but, IMO, you need a car or golf cart as the road isn’t that easy to walk on with the curves and possibly fast cars. I can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back. For 4 nights instead of 3! "

This is East Villa’s left side studio. With a simple and contemporary design, the studio has its own bathroom, full kitchen, queen-sized bed, twin futon and spacious 24 x 10 balcony. The studio has custom handmade wooden furniture, 15 ft sloped ceilings and lots of natural ventilation. You can enjoy panoramic views from the balcony or while strolling around the property. You will have access to the full 6 acres of the property, decks and gas grill. We’ll provide bathroom and beach towels, linen, beach chairs and cooler.
Located on a private 6 acre property with a breathtaking 180-degree view of the ocean. The East Villa was the first one built on the property. It overlooks Ensenada Honda (east view) and the whole of Vieques island (south view) and Puerto Rico (west view). Divided into Starboard (right side studio) and Port (left side studio), this villa has a shared deck area to enjoy the wonderful view.

You will be staying walking distance from town and Melones Beach (great snorkeling!). We highly recommend renting a vehicle to get around the island. However, you can do without one. The house is a short walk from town were you can take a taxi to most beaches.

The house as it says in other reviews needs work in some areas but I founded to be super clean, the A/C’s worked perfectly, there was hot water and it has an Ice machine that is super convenient and saves time and money going to town to buy ice. The bedrooms were excellent and the windows shutters allow you to sleep late. The deck is super convenient. We had a Water Taxi (H2O) pick us up at the deck to go to Culebrita. Lastly, we want to thank the Owners for allowing us to stay and we want to thank Edwin for meeting us at the airport and taking care of us the whole stay at Villa Tampico. He was super helpful. This fully renovated luxury home with an amazing pool, is located on the eastern end of the island just a mile from Zoni Beach. The beautiful great room has retractable doors that open to the patio, making one large space to eat, relax and play. There is a flat-screen smart TV in the great room. Each of the bedrooms have private bathrooms and the master bedroom also has an outdoor shower, both are air-conditioned. The kitchen has all new appliances and the pantry has a washer and dryer.The patio has a gas grill. The pool overlooks a farm with horses. Also on the property is a large gazebo with spectacular water views, perfect for cocktails or yoga.
The community has a dock about 1 mile from the house. A kayak is available at the dock.
There are also beach chairs, towels and a cooler for your enjoyment.

- "The house was perfect! Perfect tropical house that was situated just right on a large hill to optimize the breeze through both sides of the house. Both sides of the common living areas have large folding door walls, opposite one another, that when open, allow for a lovely open air environment. There are air conditioners in both bedrooms as well as in the common area. We only used the master bedroom air condition while sleeping which worked great. There are overhead fans in all rooms which is very nice to increase air circulation. Thus in March, we had no need to turn the air on in the common area especially with the door walls open and overhead fans on. The floor tiles through out the house (and around pool) were great in that they absorbed any water tracked in from the pool (and textured so no slipping). Pool was a big hit. It was clean and beautifully landscaped around it. The house had everything we needed: dishwasher, clothes washer & dryer, gas stove, oven, microwave, full refrigerator & also a wine refrigerator. Property and house are very clean and in great shape. You can tell someone put a lot of thought into the flow of the house, including the outside sitting areas & pool. The kitchen is large and lots of counter space. The kitchen is fully equipped with all sorts of cooking and baking house-wares. The bathrooms and showers are as nice as rest of the house. Good water flow from the showers, sinks, and toilets. I mention this because it is amazing how good the utilities worked considering you are on a rather small remote island with limited resources. On this note, it was amazing to see they had a great set up for electrical generator (all or partially solar-powered I presume) utilitizing Tesla batteries. The generator did come on a couple times automatically the night before we left. Not sure why, but it was obviously very convenient and worked well. Very impressive. The beds were very comfortable. Linens (including bath and beach towels) were comfy and clean. There are room darkening shades on all the bedroom windows, which also helps keep the heat out when the sun in shining in. The house was located above a working farm. They had cows, chickens, and horses. We did visit the cows and horses a couple times. The owners left us fresh vegetables, eggs, cheese, milk and jelly upon our arrival that was very thoughtful & yummy! We would definitely rent this property again- it was just perfect!"
