This is a great home - perfect for kids and adults alike. Ideally set up for family enjoyment. Now with central AC for those hot summer days and a new furnace for the cool spring and fall mornings & evenings.

Fishermen enjoy the waters of Loon Lake. There are Kokanee (Silver Salmon), Rainbow Trout & Tiger Trout, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Mackinaw, Blue Gill, Perch and other species.

Vacationers enjoy Loon Lake's warm waters and soft sandy beaches. It is a perfect lake to enjoy all the water sports including kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing, sailing, water skiing, tubing, floating or just about anything you can imagine doing in the water.

Bring the water toys-we will provide paddle boards, 3 Kayaks, row boat and sand toys for your use (we do provide several sizes of life jackets-infant to adult-call to inquire that we have the right sizes). You will enjoy sun all day and fantastic sunsets in the evenings.
The wildlife is fun to watch. We enjoy the ducks, geese, turtles and various critters that visit the lake and shores around us. April & May there is a good chance you might hear and see a Loon or 2 as they are passing through.

The kitchen is fully furnished with utensils (including blenders and mixer) and there is a gas grill-you supply the food and appetite.

You will enjoy the private sandy beach. With a very gentle slope from the house to the beach it is perfect for all ages and abilities. Enjoy the fire pit for roasting marshmallows, hotdogs or just enjoying the evening. There is plenty of yard to enjoy outdoor games such as ladder ball, bocce ball, frisbee, catch or just soaking up the sun.

We do not host events at our lake home such as rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions, anniversaries, bachelor or bachelorette or graduation parties.

Sunset Loft is a 1000 sq ft open floor plan with one bedroom with a Queen bed, full kitchen (including a 1 day basic breakfast kit), wood burning fire heater, one bathroom with a custom stone tile shower, vaulted living room with a new La-Z-Boy Queen sofa sleeper couch and TV, and separate office space. We also have available an inflatable electric over sized twin mattress and 2 twin folding mattresses available upon request. Balcony overlooks large marsh/bird sanctuary and partial lake views with wonderful sunsets. Back porch/deck has extra firewood and a BBQ grill.
**Requires climbing 18 stairs**. May not be for everyone but the views are worth it!
We’re happy to offer shared access to our beach and dock area! During your stay, you’re welcome to enjoy our two guest kayaks and paddleboard. Just a short walk to the cool refreshing clear lake.

We live in the main house next door with our mini Australian Shepherd. We can socialize as much or as little as you'd like. There is almost always one of us available to answer questions.
Sunset Loft is walking distance to Deer Lake RV Resort and their Camper store. Public boat launch is one mile away. RV Resort amenities are available for a small daily fee.

PET FEE: $35 per dog/per stay.

Up to $300 of the security deposit will be charged in the event you, your guests, or pet cause damage to the Loft or any part of the property including the beach and dock area.

A quaint lake cabin nestled in the trees of Loon Lake, walking distance through the meadow to the community beach complete with a dock and fire pit. The cabin features a large bedroom with a queen bed and double bed, french doors out onto the patio, a living room with a fireplace and futon that folds out into a queen bed, a bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower surround, and a fully stocked kitchen with a woodstove. We've got 50 feet of sandy beach waterfront, and a large EZ dock with a slip (bring your boat!).

Wildlife viewing includes bald eagles, ducks, geese, heron, other waterfowl - and of course, turtles! Last year, we named an inseparable pair of ducks "Ebony" and "Ivory" (see photo).

Loon Lake boasts superior fishing, including oversize Mackinaw (please see photo), Silver Salmon, and Rainbow Trout. Fish off the dock for Largemouth Bass, or use our aluminum fishing boat (motor not included) to still fish in the beautiful sun filled lake.

Near & Deer’s cozy spaces and rustic artwork adorn this tastefully decorated three bedroom, two bath waterfront cabin.

Sleeping arrangements:
Master bedroom with queen sized bed and flat panel TV is downstairs, overlooking the water. The two upstairs bedrooms feature a queen bed and a full size bed and also have an unobstructed view of the lake. There’s also a click-clack (basically just a fancy name for a futon) in the downstairs family room and a small loft area upstairs with a couch and flat panel TV. Technically, VRBO considers this a 4th bedroom, but we don’t have it listed that way on purpose as we want you to know that there’s no privacy to the open den area. The cabin is most comfortable for 6 guests and can accommodate up to 8 in beds.

Linens:
Your beds will bed freshly made just prior to your arrival, including two pillows for each guest. Freshly laundered bath towels, hand towels, face towels and kitchen towels will also be provided.

Kitchen:
The fully-stocked gourmet kitchen features natural finish cabinetry and granite counters. Included are pots, pans, toaster, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, blender and instant-pot, cooking utensils and some seasonings. We will leave you a dozen of our favorite K-cups, but feel free to bring your own stash of coffee and seasonings as well!

Dining:
There are two indoor dining spaces. One is the corner nook that technically sleeps up to 6, but we think that’s awfully snug and we recommend 4. The other area doubles as the butcher block island with 4 stools.

Family room:
Sectional reclining sofa with fireplace, flat panel smart TV and views of the lake. In the space that’s adjacent the sectional is the click-clack mentioned above.

BBQ:
The BBQ is a Traeger Pellet Grill which has 6-in-1 ability to grill, smoke, bake, roast, braise, and bbq. We’ll leave you a fully stocked hopper as well as an extra container of pellets, just in case you like to BBQ as often as we do and in case you’re not familiar with these awesome grills

The Deck:
Enjoy your morning coffee and relax on the deck, which cantilevers over the water with panoramic views of Deer Lake. There’s a propane fire pit on the deck and we’ll make sure that you have a full tank of propane waiting for you. Next to the deck on the concrete area, there’s also a natural wood burning fire pit. If you want to use that one, you should bring as much firewood with you as you’d like to use, which you can usually pick up in Deer Park on the way to the cabin.

The Dock:
The private resin dock is a great place to spend the day relaxing, jumping and swimming.

Watercraft:
If you want to bring motorized watercraft, message us prior to booking so we can talk about the size of your boat, number of skis, moorage, and trailer parking. Guests are expected to adhere to boating safety laws and lake etiquette, including observing the no-wake zone. Extra fees will apply. If you’re bringing watercraft, message us BEFORE YOU BOOK for approval.

Dogs:
If you want to bring your dog(s) with you, message us prior to booking with the size of your dog(s) and their level of training. Guest are expected to keep their dog(s) on a leash when outside the property lines and to pick up after them. No more than 2 dogs are permitted. If you’re bringing pets, message us BEFORE YOU BOOK for approval.

Parking:
Parking is tight at Deer Lake and this property is no exception. Two spaces are included. JUST TWO. There’s no overflow parking, no remote partaking lot, no asking the neighbors for favors. If you arrive with extra vehicles, you’ll be “up a creek”, as they say.

Smoking:
This is a NON-SMOKING rental, this includes both inside and outside

Quiet Time:
Outside quiet time starts @ 10 pm. Outside quiet time starts @ 10 pm. If you want to enjoy the deck or dock late at night, just be considerate of our neighbors.

Extra visitors:
