This is a great home - perfect for kids and adults alike. Ideally set up for family enjoyment. Now with central AC for those hot summer days and a new furnace for the cool spring and fall mornings & evenings.

Fishermen enjoy the waters of Loon Lake. There are Kokanee (Silver Salmon), Rainbow Trout & Tiger Trout, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Mackinaw, Blue Gill, Perch and other species.

Vacationers enjoy Loon Lake's warm waters and soft sandy beaches. It is a perfect lake to enjoy all the water sports including kayaking, paddle boarding, jet skiing, sailing, water skiing, tubing, floating or just about anything you can imagine doing in the water.

Bring the water toys-we will provide paddle boards, 3 Kayaks, row boat and sand toys for your use (we do provide several sizes of life jackets-infant to adult-call to inquire that we have the right sizes). You will enjoy sun all day and fantastic sunsets in the evenings.
The wildlife is fun to watch. We enjoy the ducks, geese, turtles and various critters that visit the lake and shores around us. April & May there is a good chance you might hear and see a Loon or 2 as they are passing through.

The kitchen is fully furnished with utensils (including blenders and mixer) and there is a gas grill-you supply the food and appetite.

You will enjoy the private sandy beach. With a very gentle slope from the house to the beach it is perfect for all ages and abilities. Enjoy the fire pit for roasting marshmallows, hotdogs or just enjoying the evening. There is plenty of yard to enjoy outdoor games such as ladder ball, bocce ball, frisbee, catch or just soaking up the sun.

We do not host events at our lake home such as rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions, anniversaries, bachelor or bachelorette or graduation parties.

Sunset Loft is a 1000 sq ft open floor plan with one bedroom with a Queen bed, full kitchen (including a 1 day basic breakfast kit), wood burning fire heater, one bathroom with a custom stone tile shower, vaulted living room with a new La-Z-Boy Queen sofa sleeper couch and TV, and separate office space. We also have available an inflatable electric over sized twin mattress and 2 twin folding mattresses available upon request. Balcony overlooks large marsh/bird sanctuary and partial lake views with wonderful sunsets. Back porch/deck has extra firewood and a BBQ grill.
**Requires climbing 18 stairs**. May not be for everyone but the views are worth it!
We’re happy to offer shared access to our beach and dock area! During your stay, you’re welcome to enjoy our two guest kayaks and paddleboard. Just a short walk to the cool refreshing clear lake.

We live in the main house next door with our mini Australian Shepherd. We can socialize as much or as little as you'd like. There is almost always one of us available to answer questions.
Sunset Loft is walking distance to Deer Lake RV Resort and their Camper store. Public boat launch is one mile away. RV Resort amenities are available for a small daily fee.

PET FEE: $35 per dog/per stay.

Up to $300 of the security deposit will be charged in the event you, your guests, or pet cause damage to the Loft or any part of the property including the beach and dock area.

A quaint lake cabin nestled in the trees of Loon Lake, walking distance through the meadow to the community beach complete with a dock and fire pit. The cabin features a large bedroom with a queen bed and double bed, french doors out onto the patio, a living room with a fireplace and futon that folds out into a queen bed, a bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower surround, and a fully stocked kitchen with a woodstove. Loon Lake boasts superior fishing, including oversize Mackinaw (please see photo), Silver Salmon, and Rainbow Trout. Fish off the dock for Largemouth Bass, or use our aluminum fishing boat (motor not included) to still fish in the beautiful sun filled lake.

Near & Deer’s cozy spaces and rustic artwork adorn this tastefully decorated three bedroom, two bath waterfront cabin.

Sleeping arrangements:
Master bedroom with queen sized bed and flat panel TV is downstairs, overlooking the water. The two upstairs bedrooms feature a queen bed and a full size bed and also have an unobstructed view of the lake. There’s also a click-clack (basically just a fancy name for a futon) in the downstairs family room and a small loft area upstairs with a couch and flat panel TV. Technically, VRBO considers this a 4th bedroom, but we don’t have it listed that way on purpose as we want you to know that there’s no privacy to the open den area. The cabin is most comfortable for 6 guests and can accommodate up to 8 in beds.

Linens:
Your beds will bed freshly made just prior to your arrival, including two pillows for each guest. Freshly laundered bath towels, hand towels, face towels and kitchen towels will also be provided.

Kitchen:
The fully-stocked gourmet kitchen features natural finish cabinetry and granite counters. Included are pots, pans, toaster, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, blender and instant-pot, cooking utensils and some seasonings. We will leave you a dozen of our favorite K-cups, but feel free to bring your own stash of coffee and seasonings as well!

Dining:
There are two indoor dining spaces. One is the corner nook that technically sleeps up to 6, but we think that’s awfully snug and we recommend 4. The other area doubles as the butcher block island with 4 stools.

Family room:
Sectional reclining sofa with fireplace, flat panel smart TV and views of the lake. In the space that’s adjacent the sectional is the click-clack mentioned above.

BBQ:
The BBQ is a Traeger Pellet Grill which has 6-in-1 ability to grill, smoke, bake, roast, braise, and bbq. We’ll leave you a fully stocked hopper as well as an extra container of pellets, just in case you like to BBQ as often as we do and in case you’re not familiar with these awesome grills

The Deck:
Enjoy your morning coffee and relax on the deck, which cantilevers over the water with panoramic views of Deer Lake. There’s a propane fire pit on the deck and we’ll make sure that you have a full tank of propane waiting for you. Next to the deck on the concrete area, there’s also a natural wood burning fire pit. If you want to use that one, you should bring as much firewood with you as you’d like to use, which you can usually pick up in Deer Park on the way to the cabin.

The Dock:
The private resin dock is a great place to spend the day relaxing, jumping and swimming.

Watercraft:
If you want to bring motorized watercraft, message us prior to booking so we can talk about the size of your boat, number of skis, moorage, and trailer parking. Guests are expected to adhere to boating safety laws and lake etiquette, including observing the no-wake zone. Extra fees will apply. If you’re bringing watercraft, message us BEFORE YOU BOOK for approval.

Dogs:
If you want to bring your dog(s) with you, message us prior to booking with the size of your dog(s) and their level of training. Guest are expected to keep their dog(s) on a leash when outside the property lines and to pick up after them. No more than 2 dogs are permitted. If you’re bringing pets, message us BEFORE YOU BOOK for approval.

Parking:
Parking is tight at Deer Lake and this property is no exception. Two spaces are included. JUST TWO. There’s no overflow parking, no remote partaking lot, no asking the neighbors for favors. If you arrive with extra vehicles, you’ll be “up a creek”, as they say.

Smoking:
This is a NON-SMOKING rental, this includes both inside and outside

Quiet Time:
Outside quiet time starts @ 10 pm. Outside quiet time starts @ 10 pm. If you want to enjoy the deck or dock late at night, just be considerate of our neighbors.

The main floor master bedroom with on-suite bathroom has a Sleep-Number queen-sized bed. In the loft bedroom, you'll enjoy a queen-sized Sleep Number bed and an in-wall air conditioner. There are also two twin beds located in one of the cozy loft semi-private rooms.

Sun on the EZ dock most of the day, (which reaches approximately 60ft off shore to over 20ft water depth), makes this the perfect sun bathing and swimming spot, or enjoy the shade of the ½ covered lounging deck with a good book and a great view. Launch your boat at the public launch and dock it at your own private composite dock near the best fishing on the lake in the no-wake “Narrows” on the north-east end of the lake. We only have room for one parking spot on our property, so plan accordingly.

Wandeerlust:

We call this well decorated lake house “Wandeerlust”. Located on beautiful Deer Lake which, is 40 minutes north of Spokane, WA. Enjoy the stunning sunsets and sunrises with panoramic views of the water and mountains.

Sleeping arrangements:
Master bedroom features a queen sized bed and flat panel TV. Upstairs loft features two beds (a double and a twin, side by side) and a large shared closet. Technically, VRBO considers this a 3rd bedroom, but we don’t have it listed that way on purpose, as we want to make sure you know that there’s no privacy between the two beds. The cabin is most comfortable for 5 guests but can accommodate up to 6 in beds.

Linens:
Your beds will bed freshly made just prior to your arrival, including two pillows for each guest. Freshly laundered bath towels, hand towel, face towel and kitchen towel will also be provided.

Kitchen:
The fully-stocked gourmet kitchen features white cabinetry and includes pots, pans, toaster, microwave, Instant Pot, Keurig coffee maker and blender, cooking utensils and some seasonings. We will leave you a dozen of our favorite K-cups, but feel free to bring your own stash of coffee and seasonings as well!

Dining:
There are two indoor dining spaces. One is the corner nook that technically sleeps up to 6, but we think that’s awfully snug and we recommend 4. The other area doubles as the butcher block island with 4 stools.

Family room:
Sectional reclining sofa with fireplace, flat panel smart TV and views of the lake. In the space that’s adjacent the sectional is the click-clack mentioned above.

BBQ:
The BBQ is a Traeger Pellet Grill which has 6-in-1 ability to grill, smoke, bake, roast, braise, and bbq. We’ll leave you a fully stocked hopper as well as an extra container of pellets, just in case you like to BBQ as often as we do and in case you’re not familiar with these awesome grills

The Deck:
Enjoy your morning coffee and relax on the deck with panoramic views of Deer Lake. There’s a propane fire pit on the deck and we’ll make sure that you have a full tank of propane waiting for you. At the water’s edge, there’s also a natural wood burning fire pit. If you want to use that one, you should bring as much firewood with you as you’d like to use, which you can usually pick up in Deer Park on the way to the cabin.

The Dock:
The private wooden dock is a great place to spend the day relaxing, jumping and swimming.

Watercraft:
If you want to bring motorized watercraft, message us prior to booking so we can talk about the size of your boat, number of skis, moorage, and trailer parking. Guests are expected to adhere to boating safety laws and lake etiquette, including observing the no-wake zone. Extra fees will apply.

Dogs:
If you want to bring your dog with you, message us prior to booking with the size of your dog and their level of training. Guest are expected to keep their dog on a leash when outside the property lines and to pick up after them. Extra fees will apply.

Parking:
Parking is tight at Deer Lake and this property is no exception. Two spaces are included. JUST TWO. There’s no overflow parking, no remote partaking lot, no asking the neighbors for favors. If you arrive with extra vehicles, you’ll be “up a creek”, as they say.

Quiet Time:

- "We could not have asked for a better time. The house was larger then we expect which was amazing with four active kids. They had space to be noisy and not disrupt others in the house. All the rooms were beyond spacious and had everything we needed. The view from the deck to the dock are amazing and absolutely beautiful in the morning. Swimming in the lake was fantastic on the hot days and the amount of items provided to keep people busy was nice. If you have a fisherman with you fishing off the dock is amazing or trolling in your boat. The only thing we were disappointed with was we couldn't see the Northern Lights that were suppose to happen in Washington during our stay. Mistee was very helpful on information regarding check in and anything else that arose during the week, which wasn't a lot. We had a fabulous time and would love to return in the future. This property features 2 exterior security cameras: 1 camera is located at the front door facing the front entrance, and 1 camera is located at the back door facing the back entrance. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras are activated by motion and will record video and sound while guests are in residence

- "Fun vacation spot" - "This was a 10/10 stay. We went for New Years to enjoy a peaceful change coming into 2023. The view right over the water was stunning. The amenities with the hot-tub, Alexa music, the lake, the gas range stove, the amount of towels, the spice rack, the comfortable bed, the BBQ, the large TV for movies, the list could go on with how well equipped they made they made the home. It’s clear the owners took their time with this property. We will absolutely be back to experience the beauty of this place. Not to mention, being able to walk the lake when it’s quiet with no cars was an absolute joy. Well done!"

The kitchen is equipped with three coffee-making options, a toaster, Ninja Bullet, microwave, utensils, silverware, paper plates, towels, and serving trays. The fridge is stocked with condiments, spices, and sauces (unless you prefer otherwise).
The bathroom includes 6 beach and shower towels, a first aid kit, sunblock, Benadryl spray, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
For outdoor fun, we provide firewood for campfires (if there’s no burn ban), s’mores sticks, popcorn, shade umbrellas, plenty of chairs, and chaise loungers on the spacious deck for soaking up the sun. We even have several Life Jackets plus water toys.

- "Beautiful relaxed environment and oh my gosh right-on-the-lake. Up, out the door across the deck and in the water. If you’ve a boat this is perfect. If you don’t happen to own a boat the Host provided plenty to keep folks happy and wet. Great stay, couldn’t recommend it higher. Thank you." - "Our family had an amazing time! The spacious deck with plenty of seating was a favorite spot for reading and relaxing in the sun. Sunsets in the evening were also a treat. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living space was really comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!"

- "We had a wonderful stay celebrating birthdays, graduations, and a military retirement ceremony. We had about 16 people staying (plus some local friends who stopped by throughout) and we had plenty of space to roam, stretch out, and find our own spaces. The house is bigger and better than the pictures in the listing. Plenty of cooking utensils, serving bowls, plates, cook wear, etc. The bedrooms are roomy and all cutely decorated. The beach was clear and pleasant to dip in. Lots of extras and details taken care of. If you have babies/littles, this house has a lot of thoughtful items to help take care of them. One suggestion would be to upgrade the grill. The top rack was missing, causing us to burn a few items and limiting our space on the grill."

Comfort:
This cabin is most comfortable for 6 guests but if you're traveling with kids, you can go up to 8.

Linens:
Your beds will beds freshly made just prior to your arrival, including two pillows for each guest. Freshly laundered bath towels, hand towels, face towels and kitchen towels will also be provided.

Kitchen:
The fully-stocked gourmet kitchen features natural finished wood counters counters. Included are pots, pans, toaster, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, blender and instant-pot, air fryer, cooking utensils and seasonings. We will leave you some of our favorite coffee K-cups, but feel free to bring your own stash of coffee and seasonings as well!

Dining:
There a tall dining table with 8 barstools.

Family room:
Large sectional sofa and ottoman, as well as a flat panel smart TV.

BBQ:
The BBQ is a Traeger Pellet Grill which has 6-in-1 ability to grill, smoke, bake, roast, braise, and bbq. We’ll leave you a fully stocked hopper with pellets.

The Deck:
Enjoy your morning coffee and relax on the deck while enjoying panoramic views of Deer Lake.

The Dock:
The private wood dock is a great place to spend the day relaxing, jumping and swimming.

Watercraft:
If you want to bring motorized watercraft, message us prior to booking so we can talk about the size of your boat, number of skis, moorage, and trailer parking. Guests are expected to adhere to boating safety laws and lake etiquette, including observing the no-wake zone. Extra fees will apply. If you’re bringing watercraft, message us BEFORE YOU BOOK for approval.

Dogs:
If you want to bring your dog(s) with you, message us prior to booking with the size of your dog(s) and their level of training. Guest are expected to keep their dog(s) on a leash when outside the property lines and to pick up after them. No more than 2 dogs are permitted and extra fees will apply. If you’re bringing pets, message us BEFORE YOU BOOK for approval.

Parking:
Parking is tight at Deer Lake and this property is no exception. Two spaces are included. JUST TWO. There’s no overflow parking, no remote partaking lot, no asking the neighbors for favors. If you arrive with extra vehicles, you’ll be “up a creek”, as they say.

Smoking:
This is a NON-SMOKING rental, this includes both inside and outside

Quiet Time:
Outside quiet time starts @ 10 pm. If you want to enjoy the dock or deck late at night, just be considerate of our neighbors.

Extra visitors:
Entertaining people outside of your reserved guest count is not permitted.
