The front of the AC was broken, as if someone had fallen on it. The lamp shade was torn, the towels were rough, one coverlet was torn and mended. The property was nice and private...off the main highway. The pool was closed...too bad. I hope it will be upgraded because it was once the best motel in Espanola. There are also works from the Cuzco School of the Spanish Colonial period. Among the contemporary items are works by noted Santa Fe artists. In honor of the Santa Fe Opera, Hilltop displays objects from the estate of Beverly Sills, the late coloratura soprano of the Metropolitan Opera and New York City Opera. The Persian rugs are about 100 years old.

Sleeping eight, the interior of this elegant four bedroom home was created by a prominent designer from Austin. Centrally air conditioned and heated, the 3,200 sq. ft. home abounds in Spanish colonial furniture, along with antiques from around the world. The home is partially adobe, with plaster walls, wood and travertine floors in the main living areas, and new luxurious carpet in the bedroom suites. The two foot thick walls were designed to use energy sparingly, summer and winter.

The formal living room with vaulted ceilings, oak floors and fireplace captures the glorious Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Also overlooking the Sangres and perched above the living space, the dining room has beams and access to a delightful dining deck with majestic mountain vistas.

The fully equipped kitchen with center island has a breakfast area with seated banco, and coved ceilings. Adjoining the kitchen you have an intimate sitting area to watch TV.

The bedrooms are separate from one another, affording everyone maximum privacy. The master bedroom suite sports a king bed, TV, sitting area and large bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bath, and walk-in closet with built-in dresser. The multiple outdoor spaces with saltwater pool, hot tub and decks are unparalleled in Santa Fe. "Caracol" is spanish for "snail" which is the shape the house was built by McNown made out of adobe, lava rock, and wood from the area. It is a special house with a lot of history, and borders the Pojoaque Creek which is a tributary for the Rio Grande 10 miles away. The house has a very unique, curved feel due to the spiral theme. A one of a kind home with nearly 4,000 sqft of living space for large groups. Cell signals are very iffy outside of Santa Fe (and sometimes within), so do take a picture of the map and front gate before driving out here. There are some Ubers in town but few that come out here so having your own cars is recommended. There is plenty of parking here for as many as 8 cars if need be My assistant and I are readily available via texting through the app or our phone numbers. We are 15 minutes north of Santa Fe, in Santa Fe County and Pojoaque Pueblo, next to Nambe Pueblo. Off the scenic road to Taos one hour away. There are wonderful hiking and biking trails within minutes of our home we would love to share with our guests. We recommend having a car as there are some Ubers in town that would come up here, but cars are more practical. With plenty of parking on site for up to eight vehicles.

Sweet adobe casita along the high road to Taos is close to Santa Fe, Tesuque, the opera and is convenient to the beauty and charms of Northern New Mexico. The perfect haven for when you want to explore Georgia O’Keefe country, the ancient pueblos, historic Spanish villages, Taos, Los Alamos, Jemez, Puye Cliffs and Bandelier National Monument. Great location for nature lovers as well, as we are within easy distance of hiking, biking, skiing/boarding, snowshoeing, rock climbing, river rafting, ballooning, fishing, bird watching and more! In fact, you can hike or bike right out of the front door.

Located approximately 17 miles north of Santa Fe plaza near the Nambé Church, this guest house to a private residence has its own entrance, a walled patio and covered portal. From the outdoor areas, enjoy dramatic sunset views over a nearby mesa and the Jemez Mountains beyond and later study the stunning nighttime skies. Additional outdoor areas include a picnic area under an old apricot tree and a seating area along the Acequia del Caño. There are two off-street parking spaces.

The casita has vigas and saltillo tile floors throughout and is decorated in Santa Fe country style with antiques, original art, tribal rugs, and quilts. The main living area has a seating nook with two bancos, a dining area, wood burning kiva fireplace and full kitchen. There is a separate bedroom, bath with tub and shower and a laundry area. The bedroom has a queen sized “Doctor’s Choice” bed and the two bancos can be comfortably converted to twin beds to accommodate up to 3 people. 100% cotton linens and fluffy towels are provided. The kitchen is stocked for basic cooking and has a microwave, coffee maker, electric tea pot, blender and attractive china and serving ware for six.

We provide complimentary tea and coffee. During the season, we will be happy to share the bounty from our no-chemical kitchen garden with you.

This is a comfortable and delightful retreat for the daytime explorer. It is also a perfect writer’s retreat or getaway for those special romantic occasions – honeymoons, anniversaries or birthdays. This beautiful efficiency apartment is part of Inn of Nectar and has wonderful views. It is on our 5 acre property. There is an outside hot tub and gazebo and goes onto BLM hiking trails. Its only 20 minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza and central to all the exciting things in Northern New Mexico. It is secluded but easy to get to the action

- "My husband and I stayed here with our dog. There is a gazebo on the property with 360 degree views; perfect for viewing sunrises and sunsets. I’m sure the star gazing is stupendous from there as well, but our AZ internal clock had us going to bed at sundown. The many crisscrossing trails on the adjoining BLM land were convenient for an early morning walk before embarking on the day’s adventures. This property is centrally located for excursions to Santa Fe and the Santa Fe National Forest, as well as Taos and the Rio Del Norte National Monument and Rio Grande Gorge. The casita itself was just right for 2 adults and a dog, and the king bed was quite comfy. My only regret is that the hot tub was not operational when we were there. If that’s important to you, you should check with the host before booking. All in all, if you are looking for something a bit off the beaten path, but in close proximity to a multitude of possible adventures, this is a great value for your dollar."

The Inn of Nectar/Kokopelli Suite is a family vacation house located between Santa Fe (20 minutes) and Taos (45 minutes) on a hill overlooking the beautiful Espanola Valley of the Rio Grande. We are close to shopping and activities such as golf, yet we are also on five naturally landscaped acres in a peaceful setting. We especially welcome families with or without children. In the area are Indian ruins, whitewater rafting, hot springs, art galleries, the Santa Fe Opera, Flea Market, Sanctuario de Chimayo, Bandelier National Monument, Pueblos, casinos, and other activities.

The Non-Smoking house is built in charming, southwestern-style with vigas and satillo tile floors. We are a great setting for those seeking a spa-like vacation. We can provide natural meals, yoga, meditation, and massage. Nearby are several hot springs as well as our own state of the art hot tub. It also can be rented with the attached Kokopelli Suite which makes it a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with 2 tv's and an extra small kitchenette.Perfect if you want a little more distance from the kids or have grandparents along. Though you don't have to go outide to go from one to the other.

This little furnished studio has an industrial/modern feel. There is an attached carport for your use. The home sits near lease land that you are welcome to hike on. Located about 8 minutes from Espanola, 30 minutes from Santa Fe and 30 minutes from Los Alamos, we are in a good central location for many traveling jobs in the area as well as many of the best tourist sights around. Casa Paraiso is the creation of husband team, Giancarlo Solimano and Kurt Schmidt, who purchased the property 9 years ago and transformed it into a true oasis in the middle of the New Mexico desert.
