Had a couple of skillets and one small pot/pan but we bought cookie dough for our anniversary only to not have anything to cook them in. Did have nice washer dryer room and small pool outside along with a small game room. We did not check out the indoor pool. Pools close at 8 PM which is frustrating when you are there to explore the area and wanted to come back and swim later when it was so hot (heat wave for the area and way too small ac on the cottage). Place was fairly clean but not the details---like a teen had cleaned it or someone in a hurry. Crumbs on the chair seats, sinks grungy in places, most of floor clean, and such. Honestly, I think if the ac had been big enough to chill the trailer, it would have been so much better!"

Beautiful and cozy. Built in 1939, this home was completely remodeled into elegance in 2018 while keeping the historic feeling with the original floors and clay walls. The upstairs has a queen bed and a full bath with Jacuzzi tub/shower. The main level is an open floor plan for the living/kitchen/dinning. The couch has a queen pull out bed with a memory foam mattress. There is a in floor heat that is on a thermostat for constant comfort in the cooler months, while the thick adobe walls keep the house nice and cool in the summer months. The bedroom on the main level has a queen bed. There is also another full bath on the main level. There is an oversized entryway with washer and dryer. This is very convenient for gear and bags, keeping your living space clutter free.
The Cottage is located right off the main road toward Crested Butte, about 2 miles north of Gunnison. It is conveniently located near (walking distance) to one of the main river put ins. Pet friendly! Built in 2006 and just remodeled with new appliances and paint, this charming cabin on a private cattle and horse ranch is surrounded by fragrant sagebrush and chokecherry bushes and offers views, privacy, and peace. There is a large fenced yard, a private patio with furniture including cushions, a gas BBQ grill, and a chimenea with firewood provided. Inside, you have a full kitchen, a bedroom, and a full bathroom that includes a new washer and dryer. In the living room, you will find a new pull out queen sized couch, a recliner, a TV, and a woodburning stove. there is a dining table for 4 and an eating bar with two stools as well. The porch offers evening sun, while the patio has morning sun- a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee! We have plenty of parking, so if you are bringing a boat, your snowmobile trailer, or your side by sides, you will have no problem parking and turning around. This is the only cabin on our ranch other than our private home, which is barely visible from the porch of the cabin due to large bushes and trees. You are less than 15 minutes from downtown Gunnison and Gunnison Regional Airport, and about 40 minutes from Mt. Crested Butte. You can also drive East on Highway 50 and be at Monarch Mountain Ski Resort in 35 minutes. Blue Mesa Lake is less than 30 minutes away. Our gate is located between mile markers 167 and mile marker 168 on US HWY 50. Google map may be slightly off, so look for the gate between those mile markers. We have added photos of our gate and wagon wheel mail box to help you recognize us.

This home couldn`t be more comfortable with 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, 2 living areas, and a fabulous setting right on the river. Located at the end of the road, this oasis property has it all for your next family vacation! The owners have gone out of their way to provide a true Colorado retreat.

Upon entering through the family room, you immediately get the sense that relaxation won't be a problem on this trip! With a large flat panel television, seating for the whole family, views out to the river, a game table and shuffleboard, this room sets the tone for the whole home. There is a brand new full bath in this room for convenience or the dedicated use of one of the guest bedrooms down the hall.

Leave the family room and you will find two bedrooms and another full bathroom. One guest bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has another queen bed and also a daybed/trundle combo.

The end of the hall opens into the great room with new rock fireplace and inset flat panel TV. With vaulted ceilings and trophy mounts from a lifetime of hunting, this room is the definition of comfortable. The kitchen is open with a pass through to the great room so everyone is involved when the family gathers. Around the corner is the dining room with seating for 10 and a wall of picture windows which look out to the backyard and over the river.

Upstairs you will find a third bedroom with queen sleigh bed and it`s own en-suite bath, along with, the master bedroom with king bed and huge master bath featuring dual vanities, jetted tub, and an oversized glass shower. A great spot for kayaking, trout fishing spot, and an excellent base camp for exploring the Gunnison valley.Located just miles from Hartman Rocks Rec area, Blue Mesa Reservoir, 2miles from downtown Gunnison, Colorado, 1/2 mile from Dos Rios Golf Course and 30 miles from Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. Enjoy skiing, rafting, fly fishing, and biking right out your front door!We are in the flight path, but it's Gunnison airport, not DIA. I think the planes are cool to watch when they do fly over.

Multiple large closets are throughout the home, so there is no problem getting organized! With more than eight acres immediately adjacent to thousands of acres of BLM property there is ample room to hike and hunt big game literally right out your back door. Life in the "high country" doesn't get much better than this.

I was concerned about being so near the airport but it really wasn’t an issue. The house had everything we needed for the week and I did a good bit of cooking. We didn’t frequent the river as much as I had planned but we did fish at Taylor’s reservoir and lake Erwin. It would have been really fun to float the Gunnison so maybe next time. The only issue we had at the house was we only had two wash clothes. So with five of us needing showers daily I just purchased extras at the Walmart down the road and left them for the next guests to also have use of hopefully. I would recommend this house and hope to rent again someday."

Room Descriptions:
When you walk in the house there is a 1/2 bathroom and bunk-bed (full bottom bunk/twin top (Must be 7+ yrs to sleep on top bunk)) close to the front door in an over-sized open spaced hallway. Past and above the bunk beds is a stairway that leads to the master bath and bedroom. Turn to the left past the stairs is a new bedroom with a king bed. On the other side of the house there is a bathroom and above the bathroom/Kitchen area is a loft with another two twin beds. The stairs to get to this is a ladder and not recommended for everyone (it's straight up and down against the wall).

The neighboring property is Grandpa's Cabin. Book both, bring friends! Grandpa and Virgil were best friend's. They knew what they were doing.

Located 20 minutes from Gunnison, 35 minutes from the Crested Butte ski slopes, just west of Almont, this cabin lies in an extra-ordinarily beautiful valley setting. It is in the Ohio Valley. Access to the National Forest.
We are looking for a couple only. Pets are welcome.
Fish in your own creek, build a fire in the firepit, gaze up at the stars. We have a new hot tub! You can board horses in the barn if you like, but that is not necessary as Almont is very close, and has great horseback riding facilities, river rafting, pond fishing, etc. Check out the ghost town of Baldwin. Drive over the Ohio Pass to Crested Butte in summer (from June onward) - it's called the 'Scenic Loop', for a gourmet dinner. Outdoor grill, linens provided.
The owner's house is just down the road - not far away at all. Dogs are welcome, as are horses. We'll put them in the barn. There is floor heating and a wood burning stove also. The wood is provided. If you don't have a horse, several local outfitters will be happy to provide them.
Connectivity! Yes we have direct tv. We have wifi - but not super fast wifi so don't plan on streaming! Remember we are in the country! We also have spotty cellphone service, so to counteract this we have a phone in the cabin you can use - but don't do international calls, of course!
Used as a hunting cabin in the fall, this cabin has multiple access to Unit 54, prime hunting grounds for deer and elk. In season, there are private group hunting packages: pick up at the airport, gourmet meal preparation, guiding if desired, animal packing. Please call for details.

Custom built in 2019, this guest apartment has plenty of space to feel at home. It’s a comfortable place to relax after a day out adventuring in the Gunnison Valley! The convenient, in-town location is a short walk to Gunnison shops and restaurants, just around the corner from Legion Park (free music Sundays @ 6:00) and right near Western Colorado University campus. While we are respectful of our guest' privacy, note that we do live on the property and regularly use our garage below and the separate backyard (mostly the kids running around playing).

You will find a fully equipped kitchen with seating for four around the peninsula. The open concept layout makes it nice to enjoy the company of those you're with while cooking and unwinding. The outdoor deck located off the kitchen is equipped with a gas grill. Other amenities include a full-size front-loading washer and dryer, heated floors for your comfort in the cold months, wireless internet on the property and a ROKU television to access your favorite internet channels (no network tv though). In addition to the two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed the other with a queen, the living room couch has a pull-out double bed, that is suitable for two children, or 1 adult. Please note that for safety reasons we don’t allow small children to stay because the staircase is open and steep but immobile babies are welcome.

The free RTA bus to Crested Butte regularly stops only 1 block away. This abode is an ideal basecamp for biking, hiking, rafting, SUPing, fishing, boating on Blue Mesa, climbing, skiing and anything else you can dream up to do in the Gunnison Valley! We are happy to give you local advice and share our favorite spots to adventure!

Newly renovated loft in a building that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Centrally located in the Gunnison Valley, the loft is in downtown Gunnison and is walking distance from shops, restaurants, grocery stores and WCU. In the summer, you can enjoy hiking, biking, ATV trails, fly fishing, rafting, horseback riding and golfing. Crested Butte is 30 minutes away and the wildflower capital of Colorado. In the winter, Crested Butte Ski resort and Monarch Mountain are 45 minutes away.

The space
This newly remodeled loft is on the third floor of the tallest building in downtown Gunnison. The Webster Building was one of the first permanent structures in downtown Gunnison. Originally, the building had a retail shop on the first floor while the proprietor lived on the second floor. The third floor was used as a social hall and rumor has it was a place that Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday would play cards during their stay in Gunnison after Earp's vendetta ride.

Currently, the first floor is home to Pawsitively Native, while the second and third floors are both lofts. Being in the tallest building downtown, you will have amazing views of the surrounding valley and mountains. Our loft is a great place to stay and relax as you experience everything the Gunnison Valley has to offer, while still being able to enjoy all the amenities of home. There is plenty of space with the loft's open floor plan and high ceilings. The coffee bar is a morning favorite and everyone loves a good game of foosball at the foosball table. There is a washer and dryer for your personal use as well.

Guest access
The whole loft is yours to call home. You will have sole access to the whole third floor loft, aside from a cleaning closet that will be locked.

Other things to note
There is a single sleeper sofa in the primary walk in closet with a window and closing door.

The security cameras that are on the premise are the Ring doorbells at the front entrance that only record when the doorbell is rang and the security camera in the back alley for the businesses on Main Street. The alley camera actively records the parking space behind the building for the business on the first floor, but it does not record above the first story onto the upper deck or stairwells where you will be staying.

There are three flights of stairs to get to the loft, which can make access harder for some people.

There is free parking on the street, but it is 2 hour parking on Main Street from 8:00am to 5:00pm (apart from Sundays). Outside of that, there is free parking on all of the side streets.

Cabins 23-25 and 30 are all identical. They sit at the base of “Lookout Point” in perhaps the most peaceful off-river setting on the resort property. These one bedroom cabins provide all of the basics. The cabin has a separate bedroom, living area and kitchen. Outside there is an open, covered patio with picnic table.

Our property is located near the park and the bus stop from where the free bus shuttle to CB and back. This property is pet friendly and provides clients to have an extended stay on the cheaper rate. Since it is located in a prime location the excess to super kings, hospital , western university and restaurants are in walking distance. We also provide clients with a common kitchen where they can cook their own food.

On the second floor, you have a lounging area with 2 single beds and hammock to chill out The beds are supported with air mattresses, covers, sleeping bags, and pillows.
