- "I like how much they had to do for fun" - "The staff was very nice and gave me a full refund because Expedia failed to mention that you need to supply your own sheets and towels. I was told that Expedia has been asked several times to mention this but have failed to do so. " - "Older property, trailer more than a cottage and dated. Only a window unit that was not large enough to cool the whole place. Being hot in CO when paying to stay at what seemed online like a new place was frustrating. Tub was only about 18 inches wide and missing drain plug. Shower worked but you were bumping the wall and pushing the curtain out the whole time as it as too narrow even for a child. No baking pans. Had a couple of skillets and one small pot/pan but we bought cookie dough for our anniversary only to not have anything to cook them in. Did have nice washer dryer room and small pool outside along with a small game room. We did not check out the indoor pool. Pools close at 8 PM which is frustrating when you are there to explore the area and wanted to come back and swim later when it was so hot (heat wave for the area and way too small ac on the cottage). Place was fairly clean but not the details---like a teen had cleaned it or someone in a hurry. Crumbs on the chair seats, sinks grungy in places, most of floor clean, and such. Honestly, I think if the ac had been big enough to chill the trailer, it would have been so much better!"

Beautiful and cozy. Built in 1939, this home was completely remodeled into elegance in 2018 while keeping the historic feeling with the original floors and clay walls. The upstairs has a queen bed and a full bath with Jacuzzi tub/shower. The main level is an open floor plan for the living/kitchen/dinning. The couch has a queen pull out bed with a memory foam mattress. There is a in floor heat that is on a thermostat for constant comfort in the cooler months, while the thick adobe walls keep the house nice and cool in the summer months. The bedroom on the main level has a queen bed. There is also another full bath on the main level. There is an oversized entryway with washer and dryer. This is very convenient for gear and bags, keeping your living space clutter free.
The Cottage is located right off the main road toward Crested Butte, about 2 miles north of Gunnison. It is conveniently located near (walking distance) to one of the main river put ins. Also Walking distance to one of Gunnisons best restaurants, Garlic Mikes, and walking distance to the bus stop that runs between Crested Butte and Gunnison.

Pet friendly! Built in 2006 and just remodeled with new appliances and paint, this charming cabin on a private cattle and horse ranch is surrounded by fragrant sagebrush and chokecherry bushes and offers views, privacy, and peace. There is a large fenced yard, a private patio with furniture including cushions, a gas BBQ grill, and a chimenea with firewood provided. Inside, you have a full kitchen, a bedroom, and a full bathroom that includes a new washer and dryer. In the living room, you will find a new pull out queen sized couch, a recliner, a TV, and a woodburning stove. there is a dining table for 4 and an eating bar with two stools as well. The porch offers evening sun, while the patio has morning sun- a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee! We have plenty of parking, so if you are bringing a boat, your snowmobile trailer, or your side by sides, you will have no problem parking and turning around. This is the only cabin on our ranch other than our private home, which is barely visible from the porch of the cabin due to large bushes and trees. You are less than 15 minutes from downtown Gunnison and Gunnison Regional Airport, and about 40 minutes from Mt. Crested Butte. You can also drive East on Highway 50 and be at Monarch Mountain Ski Resort in 35 minutes. Blue Mesa Lake is less than 30 minutes away. Our gate is located between mile markers 167 and mile marker 168 on US HWY 50. Google map may be slightly off, so look for the gate between those mile markers. We have added photos of our gate and wagon wheel mail box to help you recognize us.

We are less than a half mile from BLM property where you can explore on foot, horse back, 4 wheeler, or go hunt for Elk or Mule deer! Go ice skating, take in a hockey game at the ice center or visit the Gunnison Community Center and go swim or rock climb year around! You will not lack for something to do or see! Weddings not allowed per Gunnison County!

This home couldn`t be more comfortable with 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, 2 living areas, and a fabulous setting right on the river. Located at the end of the road, this oasis property has it all for your next family vacation! The owners have gone out of their way to provide a true Colorado retreat.

Upon entering through the family room, you immediately get the sense that relaxation won't be a problem on this trip! With a large flat panel television, seating for the whole family, views out to the river, a game table and shuffleboard, this room sets the tone for the whole home. There is a brand new full bath in this room for convenience or the dedicated use of one of the guest bedrooms down the hall.

Leave the family room and you will find two bedrooms and another full bathroom. One guest bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has another queen bed and also a daybed/trundle combo.

The end of the hall opens into the great room with new rock fireplace and inset flat panel TV. With vaulted ceilings and trophy mounts from a lifetime of hunting, this room is the definition of comfortable. The kitchen is open with a pass through to the great room so everyone is involved when the family gathers. Around the corner is the dining room with seating for 10 and a wall of picture windows which look out to the backyard and over the river.

Completely remodeled in 2017, this two bedroom, one bath cabin is on the Gunnison River. The cabin is on 2.5 acres of riverfront property and across a footbridge that will take you to the Water Park (my balance isn't great and with no handrails, I do not use it).The Dos Rios Grill and Golf Course (open to the public) is a lovely .5 mile walk. A great spot for kayaking, trout fishing spot, and an excellent base camp for exploring the Gunnison valley.Located just miles from Hartman Rocks Rec area, Blue Mesa Reservoir, 2miles from downtown Gunnison, Colorado, 1/2 mile from Dos Rios Golf Course and 30 miles from Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. Enjoy skiing, rafting, fly fishing, and biking right out your front door!We are in the flight path, but it's Gunnison airport, not DIA. I think the planes are cool to watch when they do fly over.

This home is 2500 square feet consisting of the following: Main floor: Open floor plan with a large kitchen, breakfast bar that seats three, dining area that seats six and large living room with a fireplace. There are two full bathrooms and one bedroom with two twin sized beds. Multiple large closets are throughout the home, so there is no problem getting organized! With more than eight acres immediately adjacent to thousands of acres of BLM property there is ample room to hike and hunt big game literally right out your back door. Back on the VRBO market! We took the 2024 year off so I could enjoy my sabbatical and now we are back and ready to host!

This beautiful home sits on over 2 acres of land with more than 1,000 ft of riverfront access on Gunnison River, and Clarke stream on the other side. Beautiful paradise awaits! This very private house sits at the end of the road - most people don't even realize there's a house back there!

With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, this house comfortably fits the needs of 10 people. Downstairs guests can be entertained watching TV in the living room or dining room. In order to provide better access to some of our tenants, we remodeled the downstairs den, converting it into a fantastic bedroom w/walk in closet - brand new king size bed. There is ample seating and amazing views from the dining area next to the full kitchen. We recently upgraded the fridge/freezer, and now have a new flat top stove!

A gigantic backyard deck will fulfill your needs for relaxing comfort while listening to the water flowing. You are surrounded by water. This house sits on a peninsula which provides amazing fishing opportunities and an undeniably serene experience.

It was the most convenient base location for our family. 7 minutes to town to get supplies and see the Cattleman’s Rodeo, easy drive to Almont/Taylor River and Crested Butte. My husband and son took the rental car 2 days to go fishing so we took advantage of the awesome free Gunnison-CB bus. Picks up and drops off at the Tall Texan stop which was a super easy walk from the house. Speaking of walking distance, Garlic Mike’s was nearly right across the street. They have live music Fridays and Saturdays. Perfect trip!"

The home is on 2.5 acres of riverfront property and across a footbridge that will take you to the Gunnison White Water Park (my balance isn't great and with no handrails, I do not use it). Located just miles from Hartman Rocks Rec area, Blue Mesa Reservoir, 2miles from downtown Gunnison, Colorado, 1/2 mile from Dos Rios Golf Course and 30 miles from Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. Enjoy skiing, rafting, fly fishing, and biking right out your front door! Plenty of room for your RV and trailers. Only one mile from the Crested Butte ski shuttle stop. We are in the flight path, but it's Gunnison airport, not DIA. I think the planes are cool to watch when they do fly over.

This property is shared with The River House on the river. All hammocks, firepits, and picnic tables are there for the two homes to share. There is alotof room, so play nice (don't choose the space directly in front of the River House) and enjoy this park-like atmosphere!

When you walk in the house there is a 1/2 bathroom and bunk-bed (full bottom bunk/twin top (Must be 7+ yrs to sleep on top bunk)) close to the front door in an over-sized open spaced hallway. Past and above the bunk beds is a stairway that leads to the master bath and bedroom. Turn to the left past the stairs is a new bedroom with a king bed. On the other side of the house there is a bathroom and above the bathroom/Kitchen area is a loft with another two twin beds. The stairs to get to this is a ladder and not recommended for everyone (it's straight up and down against the wall).

Located 20 minutes from Gunnison, 35 minutes from the Crested Butte ski slopes, just west of Almont, this cabin lies in an extra-ordinarily beautiful valley setting. It is in the Ohio Valley. Access to the National Forest.
We are looking for a couple only. Pets are welcome.
Fish in your own creek, build a fire in the firepit, gaze up at the stars. We have a new hot tub! You can board horses in the barn if you like, but that is not necessary as Almont is very close, and has great horseback riding facilities, river rafting, pond fishing, etc. Check out the ghost town of Baldwin. Drive over the Ohio Pass to Crested Butte in summer (from June onward) - it's called the 'Scenic Loop', for a gourmet dinner. Outdoor grill, linens provided.
The owner's house is just down the road - not far away at all. Dogs are welcome, as are horses. We'll put them in the barn. There is floor heating and a wood burning stove also. The wood is provided. If you don't have a horse, several local outfitters will be happy to provide them.
Connectivity! Yes we have direct tv. We have wifi - but not super fast wifi so don't plan on streaming! Remember we are in the country! We also have spotty cellphone service, so to counteract this we have a phone in the cabin you can use - but don't do international calls, of course!
Used as a hunting cabin in the fall, this cabin has multiple access to Unit 54, prime hunting grounds for deer and elk. In season, there are private group hunting packages: pick up at the airport, gourmet meal preparation, guiding if desired, animal packing. Please call for details.

Custom built in 2019, this guest apartment has plenty of space to feel at home. It’s a comfortable place to relax after a day out adventuring in the Gunnison Valley! The convenient, in-town location is a short walk to Gunnison shops and restaurants, just around the corner from Legion Park (free music Sundays @ 6:00) and right near Western Colorado University campus. While we are respectful of our guest' privacy, note that we do live on the property and regularly use our garage below and the separate backyard (mostly the kids running around playing).

You will find a fully equipped kitchen with seating for four around the peninsula. The open concept layout makes it nice to enjoy the company of those you're with while cooking and unwinding. The outdoor deck located off the kitchen is equipped with a gas grill. Other amenities include a full-size front-loading washer and dryer, heated floors for your comfort in the cold months, wireless internet on the property and a ROKU television to access your favorite internet channels (no network tv though). In addition to the two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed the other with a queen, the living room couch has a pull-out double bed, that is suitable for two children, or 1 adult. Please note that for safety reasons we don’t allow small children to stay because the staircase is open and steep but immobile babies are welcome.

The free RTA bus to Crested Butte regularly stops only 1 block away. This abode is an ideal basecamp for biking, hiking, rafting, SUPing, fishing, boating on Blue Mesa, climbing, skiing and anything else you can dream up to do in the Gunnison Valley! We are happy to give you local advice and share our favorite spots to adventure!

Newly renovated loft in a building that is on the National Register of Historic Places. Centrally located in the Gunnison Valley, the loft is in downtown Gunnison and is walking distance from shops, restaurants, grocery stores and WCU. In the summer, you can enjoy hiking, biking, ATV trails, fly fishing, rafting, horseback riding and golfing. Crested Butte is 30 minutes away and the wildflower capital of Colorado. In the winter, Crested Butte Ski resort and Monarch Mountain are 45 minutes away.

The space
This newly remodeled loft is on the third floor of the tallest building in downtown Gunnison. The Webster Building was one of the first permanent structures in downtown Gunnison. Originally, the building had a retail shop on the first floor while the proprietor lived on the second floor. The third floor was used as a social hall and rumor has it was a place that Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday would play cards during their stay in Gunnison after Earp's vendetta ride.

Currently, the first floor is home to Pawsitively Native, while the second and third floors are both lofts. Being in the tallest building downtown, you will have amazing views of the surrounding valley and mountains. Our loft is a great place to stay and relax as you experience everything the Gunnison Valley has to offer, while still being able to enjoy all the amenities of home. There is plenty of space with the loft's open floor plan and high ceilings. The coffee bar is a morning favorite and everyone loves a good game of foosball at the foosball table. There is a washer and dryer for your personal use as well.

Guest access
The whole loft is yours to call home. You will have sole access to the whole third floor loft, aside from a cleaning closet that will be locked.

Other things to note
There is a single sleeper sofa in the primary walk in closet with a window and closing door.

The security cameras that are on the premise are the Ring doorbells at the front entrance that only record when the doorbell is rang and the security camera in the back alley for the businesses on Main Street. The alley camera actively records the parking space behind the building for the business on the first floor, but it does not record above the first story onto the upper deck or stairwells where you will be staying.

There are three flights of stairs to get to the loft, which can make access harder for some people.

There is free parking on the street, but it is 2 hour parking on Main Street from 8:00am to 5:00pm (apart from Sundays). Outside of that, there is free parking on all of the side streets.

Cabins 23-25 and 30 are all identical. They sit at the base of “Lookout Point” in perhaps the most peaceful off-river setting on the resort property. These one bedroom cabins provide all of the basics. The cabin has a separate bedroom, living area and kitchen. Outside there is an open, covered patio with picnic table.

Our property is located near the park and the bus stop from where the free bus shuttle to CB and back. This property is pet friendly and provides clients to have an extended stay on the cheaper rate. Since it is located in a prime location the excess to super kings, hospital , western university and restaurants are in walking distance. We also provide clients with a common kitchen where they can cook their own food.

On the second floor, you have a lounging area with 2 single beds and hammock to chill out The beds are supported with air mattresses, covers, sleeping bags, and pillows.

Garrett's cabin is well appointed, both inside (fully stocked kitchen, tableware, stove, solar powered lights, lots of beds, etc.) and outside (fire pit, lawn chairs, horseshoes, etc.). We saw elk and (using the binoculars provided!) a black bear! Make sure you're prepared for the drive in and have a 4x4 vehicle, but once you're there it's a relaxing paradise. :)"

Located near downtown of Gunnison, easy excess to the bus stop, close to western university and walking distance to the restaurants around. Its about 5 min drive to the hospital and the super king, Walmart is just around 7 min ride from the property. We also provide extended stay for people willing to stay for more than a months or so. Welcome to The Mountaineer Apartment brand new on the market in May 2023! Conveniently located across the street from Western State College on N Colorado. This space is perfect for visiting the school, or just Gunnison in general. The apartment is located above the garage of our other rental home, The Mountaineer. 

Alley entrance- Open the door (with your door code) to the flight of stairs, you enter the Livingroom/Kitchen area with a sleeper sofa and a cozy electric fireplace. This area has a washer/dryer and 1/2 bath. Adjoining this space is 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 full bath. 

Sorry, the garage is kept private for the owners, but you can park next to the garage (Space enough for 1 car.) All extra cars will need to be parked along the street.

The town of Gunnison is about 2 miles east from our home. There is easy access to bike and walking trails. Once you are in the lovely town of Gunnison you will find a variety of restaurants from Mexican to Nepalese to famous Garlic Mike's. Free public bus transportation to and from Mt. Crested Butte is available from town. Bike rentals, ski rentals, rafting & fishing tours can also be found. We are approximately 7700' elevation and about 9 miles from Blue Mesa Reservoir where you can rent your own pontoon or fishing boat. We are walking distance to lovely 18-hole Dos Rios Golf Course.

The space
The room is private and has a private entrance, however it is attached to our house. We worked hard to soundproof the walls, but we do have 2 young kids who you could hear. We have a sweet dog, Josy, who will bark upon your arrival. She is very friendly and wants to play! She doesn't have any access to the rental space.

There's a kitchenette that includes a hot plate and cooking essentials. Pot, pan, utensils, plates, bowls, and cups. There's also a mini fridge with small freezer, microwave, and toaster. Coffee and a coffee maker is supplied.

We enjoy the rural setting and views for miles, as we are situated on 35 acres. We are only a 5-minute drive from downtown Gunnison, and a 10-minute drive to the hospital and Western Colorado University. It takes about 45 to drive to Crested Butte.

We have 5 llamas you can feed through the fence, observe and get to know. Ask us if you'd like to spend time and learn about llamas, and we can try to find a time that works.

There is plenty of parking, including room for trailers.

The house has undergone several expansions over time, resulting in additional structures being attached to the original log home. Which also added a few steps to navigate up and down throughout the first floor. The bedrooms were built in 1939, and the mudroom/bar area was added in 1953. The combination of the new structures with the original log cabin creates a captivating living space with unique characteristics.

The space
Stylish townhouse in a quiet neighborhood in Gunnison, conveniently located just a few blocks from the airport. Open
concept downstairs allows everyone to socialize whether you are relaxing on the couch, cooking food, or working on your bike in the garage. Radiant in-floor heat means you will always be warm and comfortable in the winter and ceiling fans in every room that keep you cool in the summer. The downstairs also has a dedicated desk space to allow you to work remotely and free high-speed wifi throughout the townhouse. Two flat-screen smart TVs have all your favorite streaming apps. Guests must be able to climb a flight of stairs to access the bedrooms upstairs. Keyless front entry. Washer and dryer for guest use. Patio furniture allows space for enjoying conversation or peaceful reading time outside in the breeze or in the garage as you work on your bike. Our heated garage is available only for gear storage, please no cars inside the garage. We have provided a bike repair stand and bike storage stands, as well as ski holders and shelving for boots.
Kitchen is fully stocked with a 12 cup drip coffee maker and french press, toaster, slow cooker, small food processor, common spices and condiments (all organic), oils, dishwasher, and microwave. Modern kitchen setup includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and granite top island with bar stools. Other items provided throughout the house include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, coffee and tea, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and extra towels, pillows, and blankets.
Our space is kid-friendly with child-safe outlets standard, baby gates, high chair, and pack&play with bassinet available onsite. The kitchen is stocked with sippy cups, kid's plates, cups, and utensils. Games for all ages available.

Other things to note
Enjoy all the outdoor activities that Gunnison and Crested Butte have to offer and return to a cozy home with plenty of gear storage in the heated garage and parking in the front and back (Garage is for storage and gear only, no cars please). You’ll be minutes from Blue Mesa Reservoir, and five minutes drive from Hartman Rocks Recreation Area, which is full of opportunities in the summer with climbing, mountain biking, dirt biking, and groomed fat biking trails and skiing trails in the winter. Just blocks from the Crested Butte bus stop and the Gunnison Airport, as well as the Gunnison River and Kayak Park. Forty-five-minute drive from Mt. Crested Butte Resort and Monarch Ski Area and an hour drive to the Black Canyon National Park. Gunnison is also home to Western CU, world-class fly fishing, and world-class hunting, as well as rock climbing at Hartman and Taylor Canyon.

Bienvenidos to Gran Vistas! Less than 10 minutes from City Market and Walmart. The drive here will leave you breathless. Entering a large sunroom perfect for a morning cup of coffee, a kitchen where you will enjoy gathering with family and friends. This kitchen is very well stocked with everything you should need to make your stay your own. The dining area expands into the living room where there is a sleeper sofa and the GRAND VIEWS begin! 

Atop the open staircase, there are 3 bedrooms. A master bedroom with a private bathroom, and a walk-in shower that instantly invites you to rinse off your adventures of the day and prepares you to relax under the countless star-lit sky. The other two rooms each have a queen bed and share a bathroom located in the hall. The upstairs Great room houses a family/office/movie viewing space overlooking Carbon Peak and the Anthracite Range in the Gunnison National Forest, it also has a trundle bed that sleeps two. 

This Gran Vistas home is adjacent to Cranor Hill (all the locals know this little ski gem when the snow is in our favor) and abundant walking/hiking/running/biking trails. Near Lost Canyon where you can access from the home; great for hunting or off-roading, there is plenty of parking for your RV, boat, and ATV! You can go out the door and begin your adventures. A propane griddle perfect for any meal is provided for you to come, sit, relax and adventure all from this location.  Once you are here you won’t want to leave, not to worry the Gran Vistas will live with you para siempre (forever).
Lost Canyon area is accessible from the house by UTV which leads to Fossil Ridge!

Our home is on Main Street in downtown Gunnison, close to WCU campus, restaurants, shopping, and the outdoors. We offer a large rental space with a private entrance and parking. It has a queen bed and a couch (hideaway bed) in the main room, and a full bed in a separate, small room. The space has an updated and new private bath with shower,. There is not a full kitchen, but it has a small fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, crockpot and TV with Netflix, DVDS, but no cable.

The space
The rental is just under 1000 square feet, so it's large. We're close to restaurants and bars, grocery store, WCU campus, and surrounded by mountains and open space.

There are two long-term tenants living above the back portion of the AirBnb. They are a respectful and quiet couple that work Mon-Fri, may be up before 7, also settle in early most nights.

We have three large dogs that are very excitable, we've been told they bark occasionally but not constantly. We are home quite a bit and keep it to a minimum.

You'll get the entire rental with private entrance and parking. We live on-site, but have our own entrance.

We're pretty busy being self-employed, so not always home, but always have our cell phones on us.

Step back in Time to the comfort of yesterday with this traditionally furnished 3 bedroom- 2 1/2 bath country home in Gunnison’s prestigious Dos Rios subdivision. We welcome you and your pet for a wonderful family vacation experience close to the Gunnison White Waterpark and Hartman Rocks! You are in the heart of all that Gunnison has to offer.

The kitchen features a newer Range, OTR Microwave, Refrigerator, and Dishwasher. It is fully equipped with all cooking and serving needs—a large table in the eating area off the kitchen seats up to 10. Back patio out the kitchen door has a propane grill and smokeless fire pit and overlooks a large backyard.

Come in, take off your shoes, and relax as you sink into the softest couch you will ever sit in. The Great Room is equipped with a gas fireplace and a 55-inch flatscreen TV, wireless Internet is provided. You've never relaxed like this!     

Head upstairs to the bedrooms 
The primary bedroom has an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower and is furnished with a canopy king bed and a baby’s crib. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a full bath with tub/shower- king bed in bedroom 2, and queen in bedroom 3. 

Home is located close to the public fishing and floating off of the Gunnison River or golf at the Public Dos Rios Golf Course. Boat docs and rentals are available at the nearby Blue Mesa Reservoir Marina. Crested Butte Ski area is a quick 30 mile drive.
Within Dos Rios subdivision, fishing is prohibited.
