- "Bridal Veil B&B was such an excellent place to stay. It was like we were staying with family. The accommodations were clean, cozy, and comfortable. The location was ideal as well, it was close to just about everything. And of course, the breakfast was just fabulous." - "This was possibly the most unique (in a positive sense) travel experiences we have ever had. First of all, the hosts have created a B&B out of the ground floor of their townhouse. The unit can be rented as either a one or two bedroom unit, depending on each guest's needs. The unit is comfortable, clean and modern, and has it's own entrance. Parking is a non-issue since you are the only guest. It's located across from the hot springs and visitors center. We walked into downtown Ouray during the day (took about 10-15 minutes), but felt more comfortable driving at night. The breakfast (which was fabulous) is served in the host's dining room, one floor up from the guest area. Connie and Greg (the hosts) are friendly and welcoming. Greg is a retired teacher, mathematician, climbing and canyoneering instructor, general outdoor enthusiast, former US Marine, and Viet Nam veteran. Connie is a transplant from Hong Kong. The story of how they met, and later reconnected, is straight out of Hollywood. Greg and Connie are an absolute wealth of information about the area. They can advise you on everything from the best hikes (in Ouray, Telluride, Ridway, Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP), the best restaurants, the best sightseeing, and the best shopping. When we checked out on the last day we felt as though we were saying goodbye to two old friends."

- "The layout is garage, and washer and dryer on the main level, Kitchen living room and half bath with a balcony on the 2nd level, two bedrooms side by side with a full bathroom on the upper level. Is the shower and toilet are separated by the Dual sinks. I felt this stay was better in person than it was in the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a one minute walk to the pool. There is a walking trail immediately behind the townhouse that's a two mile loop. We walked into town to the shops and restaurants on multiple occasions. The kitchen is very very well stocked. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, tin foil, spices, coffee, toaster, air fryer, you name it. Really nice hearing the water from the master bedroom and living room. It is right off the highway but you don't hear it due to the river. It was quiet and private."

It's situated at the intersection of the Perimeter Trail and the North Ouray Corridor Trail. You can easily walk anywhere in town. It has 3 levels with mudroom, laundry and entertainment area with large screen TV on the entry/garage level. There’s a guest cabinet with pool towels, outdoor play equipment and ping pong equipment. There’s a card table with 4 folding chairs and an electric grill. Two sleds(and shovels!) are provided in the winter. The main level includes a sitting area adjacent to the kitchen, a bedroom with a full-size bed and a full bathroom with a deep tub and shower. The fully equipped kitchen features alder cabinetry and granite counters, a center island with stools and stainless appliances. There's a balcony off of this level with a railing mounted counter and 4 stools for outdoor dining. The upper level has an entertainment area with a queen sofa sleeper, chairs and big-screen TV. We even had a few mule deer visitors right outside the door and that was really cool! Highly recommend this cute little apartment! San Juan Chalet Cabin is located just 1.5 blocks from main street. So you can walk to everything in Ouray even the Hot Springs! San Juan Chalet Cabin has wonderful mountain views and a nice private yard surrounded by Lilac and Aspen trees. The Lilacs bloom in late May and early June. Our 'Cabin' is a favorite among return guests. The Secret Garden B&B is directly to the west. We have a picnic table and grill so you can enjoy your meals outside and soak in the beautiful mountain scenery. Use of the hot springs and included breakfast was icing on the cake. We would definitely stay here again. My kids did complain that the fold out bed was a bit hard and not the most comfortable but they still slept fine and really enjoyed the stay. The king bed was super comfy so we had no complaints there."

The Box Canyon Suite is a quaint, family owned and operated rental unit in Ouray. This cozy suite is located on Main St just blocks from trailheads, shops and restaurants. Only a 3/4 mile walk or drive to the renowned Ouray Hot Springs Pool. Your host, Jen, is knowledgable about the area and can give you all the pointers you need to live like a local during your stay in Ouray. Due to the age of the building, this space is not suitable for infants and children under 12.

The space
Originally built in 1890, this historic home was the childhood residence of Colorado’s 31st governor, William Knous. It later belonged to a nurse from the local miners’ hospital and eventually served as a business front and boarding house for many years. In 2015, the current owner lovingly restored the home, preserving its rich history while updating it with modern comforts.

Located just a short walk uphill from the famous Ouray Ice Park and Via Ferrata, the home also sits directly below the launch point for Ouray’s 4th of July and New Year’s Eve fireworks, offering a front-row seat to the festivities! Quaint, clean, and cozy, this space is the perfect place to unwind after your mountain adventures.

The upstairs bedrooms have been thoughtfully renovated into spacious guest suites, each with a private bath. Bright and airy, the rooms offer stunning views of the Amphitheater and Box Canyon while maintaining the charm of the original structure.

Surrounded by thousands of acres of Colorado wilderness, the property is visited by a variety of wildlife. Common sightings include deer, foxes, skunks, birds, and the occasional bear. Please do not leave food, coolers, or similar items outside at any time, and be sure to use the bear-proof dumpster for all trash, especially overnight. While less commonly seen, elk, bighorn sheep, mountain lions, lynx, and moose also roam the area.

We deeply value living in harmony with nature. To protect both guests and wildlife, we do not use chemical pesticides or traps. Instead, each unit is equipped with an ultrasonic deterrent, inaudible to humans and dogs, that helps keep insects and mice at bay.

Guest access
Guests access their rooms through the front door of the house using a keypad. The Box Canyon Suite offers a private South facing, private balcony featuring stunning views to take in over morning coffee or evening nightcap. *Seating on the front porch is reserved for use by guests of the Amphitheater Suite.

During your stay
Jen will be your host and is also is a full-time teacher at Ouray School. She owns and lives in AlpLily Inn. She can give you plenty of recommendations on the best places to eat, see and play in and around Ouray. Jen is available between the hours of 9am and 9pm. She may not always be able to give an immediate response, but will answer messages and voicemails within a few hours or first thing the next morning if it's past 9pm. Thanks for your understanding! We hope you have a memorable and adventurous stay in Ouray.

If you need immediate assistance, it is best to call Jen directly. If it is past 9pm, two consecutive phone calls will bypass the do not disturb setting and allow the call to go through.

Street parking is located in front of the building on Main St. Please note, there is no overnight parking in Ouray for snow removal during some months of the year. This will be identified by a no parking sign on Main St. If there is no sign, you are fine to park there. Additional parking is on the side street, 3rd Avenue.

You may hear and encounter other renters during your stay.

Dogs, cats and other animals are not permitted.

No smoking indoors, no parties. - This is a non-smoking building (for any substance including burning incense and candles as per insurance requirements). Evidence of smoking will result in a $250 deep clean fee. Please let us know right away of any damage or items that are not in working order.

Guests may also relax in our entertainment room equipped with Internet TV and family games.

The Smokehouse restaurant (summer seasonal), or guests may bring their own portable grill / propane stove to use outside the cabin. Each cabin also has its own picnic table adjacent to the Ouray Riverwalk. All guests have access to the (2) onsite heated Jacuzzi's which are located at the Riverside Inn Property next door (3-minute walk down the Ouray Riverwalk).

All linens and towels are included with the camping cabins for your convenience. Our camping cabins will sleep up to 4 guests.

The space
This cabin is located on the riverfront of the Uncompahgre River inside Ouray RV Park & Cabins. Only 1/3 mile walk to the Hot Springs Pool! Our 1 room camping cabins have a new full-size bed with upgraded mattress, and 2 bunk beds. They have electric, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, electric fireplace and a ceiling fan. Cabins also have a nightstand with USB chargers, mirrored hall tree, and a bistro table with two chairs, for your comfort and convenience. A small front porch with a side table and 2 rocking chairs is perfect for sitting outside and listening to the river at night. Guests may also relax in our entertainment room equipped with Internet TV and family games.

The Smokehouse restaurant (summer seasonal), or guests may bring their own portable grill / propane stove to use outside the cabin. Each cabin also has its own picnic table adjacent to the Ouray Riverwalk. All guests have access to the (2) onsite heated Jacuzzi's which are located at the Riverside Inn Property next door (3-minute walk down the Ouray Riverwalk).

All linens and towels are included with the camping cabins for your convenience. Our camping cabins will sleep up to 4 guests.

Cabins are all non-smoking. Guests may smoke cigarettes ONLY at the picnic tables located outside of the cabin but must properly dispose of cigarette butts.

Pets are permitted in Riverfront Cabins 1 thru 10 with notification and payment of additional fees prior to arrival. Pets are not allowed in any public buildings (including bathhouse, laundry, game room, store, restaurant, etc.) or Historic and Deluxe Cabins.
