- Dogs must be house broken and no more than 2 dogs are allowed. You are required to clean up after your dog and please be attentive of your dog and the neighbors as the cabin does not have a fenced in yard so please take that into consideration. Dogs must stay on cabin property. If dog likes to wander please keep them leashed or on a dog run.

- Please contact us with info regarding pets before arriving.

- No pets allowed on furniture. If evidence of pets on furniture cleaners will charge us and we will charge the guest.

- please use provided towels by entrances to dry pets before they come inside.

--> No parking on the road.

--> IMPORTANT: No boats over 25` are allowed. Please keep in mind that the lake is shallower compared to bigger lakes. Big boats that sit deeper in the water are not recommended. (pontoons, fishing boats and jet skis are recommended).

Make sure you come in through the Washington side of the lake. If you come in through Stoddard you will have to turn around and go all the way around the lake.

The property is located 3 miles down an improved dirt road.

--> Guest have access to Private association beach and boat launch.

--> Make sure to take a picture or print check-in instructions and Wi-Fi info before leaving home as there is no cell service. Also might be a good idea to print directions.

--> This is a rural area and bears are occasionally seen. Please be aware and keep all food inside the home and trash in designated bins.

--> Make sure you come in through the Washington side of the lake. If you come in through Stoddard you will have to turn around and go all the way around the lake.

--> Make sure to bring your groceries on the way in as the nearest grocery store is 30 mins away in Hillsborough and there is a convenience store 15 min away in Washington.

VERY IMPORTANT:

--> If you cancel your reservation 31 days before your check-in we will refund you 100% of your payment minus the Credit Card processing fee of 3.9%. We also recommend all guest purchase trip insurance as it is relatively affordable, and protects you against unforeseen situations.

--> For guest wanting to use provided kayak please bring your own life jackets as we only provide a couple and might not have your size. Also note you will need to sign/agree to liability waiver.

Sandy shallow section in water for little ones plus a nice big dock for your boat. Great swimming and floating area on the beach and off the dock. Please read our reviews to understand the spectacular aspects of this home. We provide a canoe, paddles, and life jackets free for your use and can deliver a rowboat for a small fee. Small general store in town for last minute provisions, and the lake has a nice little marina with friendly hosts. Enjoy the serenity on this quiet, pretty lake in the wonderful Monadnock Region of NH.

Highland Lake is over 7 miles long. The home and spacious yard represent a perfect place to relax and unwind looking out at this peaceful lake. On any given day you will see kayakers, canoe travelers, and paddle boarders, and an occasional waterskier. Not to mention fishermen young and old catching large and small mouth bass! Several families of loons, some eagles, and a blue heron call this lake their home and you'll almost certainly see them during your stay.

If you would like to explore the area, the towns of Hancock and Peterborough are 20-25 minutes away, and Keene has all the stores you need if that's your thing. Mt. Monadnock is roughly a half hour away, and the best blueberry picking can be found at Pitcher Mountain, within a 5 min drive. The Harris Center in Hancock is worth a trip, or see the Scottish Highlanders on your way to Pitcher Mt. for a hike and view that's unsurpassed in this area.

There is a master bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with two twins, and clean, simple, modern amenities.

The canoe was in great condition and while paddles were available, we brought our own. The dock was solid and well maintained. We caught fish both in the lake and off the dock. The road access concerns from previous reviews have been remedied. We like to cook while away and thoroughly enjoyed cooking on the Wolf gas stove. The cookware was sufficient for our needs. Plan to bring your own spices and small pantry items. We left some items for the next guest. A teapot would have been useful, and the owner is addressing this. He is also addressing the small repair needed for the gas grill. The beds were comfortable, and bathrooms were clean. As it was early May we did need to use the heat in the evening and the heating units quickly warmed us up. The communication with the owner, Tim, was excellent and he checked in on us often. The second bedroom is located upstairs, down the hall from the master bedroom, and has 2 sets of bunk beds that will comfortably sleep four adults and a queen bed that will sleep two. The guest bathroom is located immediately to the right of the second bedroom and appointed in the same fashion as the master bedroom bath. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and will sleep two adults. A rustic cabin themed bathroom is located just across the hall on the first floor.

GROUND LEVEL:
Continuing with the rustic theme of our home, this area is complete with pine bead board wainscoting and natural slate flooring..

There are plenty of other games for all ages. Of note there is plenty of parking for 4 cars in 1 spot and truck and trailer in another. Also of note the water at the house is too shallow or weedy to swim, we went around the corner to the inlet in the kayaks or paddleboat and swam there or we went to the sandbar. I recommend water shoes for both locations. Shaws is an easy 20 minutes away for anything you may forget."

Beautiful updated camp located by Asheulot Lake. A short 5 minute walk to swimming and the boat launch. There is a canoe and life vests available at the cabin for guests to use. Located by the property of Lucky 7 Farm, is a full working and teaching farm. You may visit the animals during your stay, or stock up on loacally made and grown goodies at our seasonal farmstand. Let us know if you would like us to fill the fridge with any of our pasture raised meats, eggs, bread or delicious goodies for your stay, (see guidebook below). The camp offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. A toasty gas fireplace. Full kitchen with all your cooking/baking needs. Relaxing deck overlooking the woods and water. There is a grill for BBQ in the summer months. Guests have full access to a full state of the art gym for all your fitness needs.

displayed on the checkout webpage for the Vacation Rental. A portion of your total payment may be due upon

schedule indicated on the reservation webpage. Please review these amounts carefully. You may cancel your
booking at any time, however, all amounts that have been paid prior to your cancellation will be non-refundable

completing this booking transaction for the Vacation Rental (“you” or “Guest”). JC Property Solutions LLC
represents the owner of the Vacation Rental. JC Property Solutions LLC provides the Vacation Rental subject to the
terms of this Agreement. You agree that you will be present at the Vacation Rental for the entire duration of the
reservation and that you will be responsible for the actions and behavior of each individual present at the Vacation
Rental during your stay. This includes ensuring everyone in your party or otherwise present at the Vacation Rental
(each an “occupant”) is aware of and in compliance with the terms identified in this Agreement. If you are bringing
a minor as an occupant, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the supervision of that
minor throughout the duration of your stay and agree to the terms of this Agreement on each minor’s behalf.
2. PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATION. The total amount due, including the base rates, taxes, and fees are
displayed on the checkout webpage for the Vacation Rental. A portion of your total payment may be due upon
checkout, as indicated in the “amount to be charged now” line. The balance is due prior to arrival within the
schedule indicated on the reservation webpage. Please review these amounts carefully. You may cancel your
booking at any time, however, all amounts that have been paid prior to your cancellation will be non-refundable
unless specifically indicated otherwise at checkout. Please review the specific cancellation and refund terms in the
listing you are reserving prior to checkout as exceptions will not be made once your reservation is confirmed.

3. HOUSE RULES & POLICIES. The Vacation Rental may have specific rules and policies regarding pets, the creek on
the property, smoking/vaping, quiet hours, parking, pool and/or hot tub usage, and other local, HOA, or property
regulations. These rules are detailed either within this Agreement, in the description section of the Vacation Rental
listing, in an Exhibit A attached hereto, or as otherwise delivered to you, and are incorporated into this Agreement.
