The dock is very large and connects to 2 other cottages. It's "shared" but you have your own designated space and area with a picnic table to enjoy.
The overall backyard space where the fire pit is located is shared amongst three units (including this unit).

Guest are able to access through front door and have a back sliding door giving you access right to the dock area of the unit. The dock is huge and connects to other units dock but each have separate dock area and amenities. Each cottage has one kayak and stand up paddle board in the warm months. Each unit also has its own patio furniture to enjoy. Please don’t move furniture.

Kayaks and Paddle board are available in the summer months along with patio furniture, starting in May. Please don’t move patio furniture.

- "The water was the draw for us and we enjoyed the views from which were available from just about every indoor location. The living space was fine for the 2 of us. We wondered, since there are beds for 6, how larger groups relax. There’s a picnic table with seating in an adjacent room but in the living room there’s only one couch that seats 3. Recognizing that there are high stools for the counter and a cushion, perhaps a comfortable armchair would be nice as additional seating. Just a thought.🙂"

She absolutely loved it and stayed there during our 5 day stay while I had business to handle. She loves being near the water and although the place was set back a little from the water... it was great for her and the time she spent there. Cozy cottage on Lake Todd with 50 feet of private beach across the street is available for your summer fun! Cottage has 2 bedrooms and a full bath. Master bedroom has a queen size bed and looks out at the lake, second bedroom has 1 double bed and 1 twin bed. Kitchen has all the amenities you need and a charcoal grill is provided.

Large boats are not allowed on Lake Todd but it is the perfect place for canoes, kayaks and small motor boats with great fishing and bird watching!
Lake Todd is located in Newbury NH and is within minutes of Lake Sunapee. Mount Kearsarge and Mount Sunapee with great hiking trails for all ages!

Please note, cottage sits on a small hill with several steps leading to the entrance.

- "This little cottage is lovely. It is Immaculate, clean and has incredible charm. It has everything you need and more, from beach toys, a canoe, and lovely kitchen amenities. The interior decoration has been well designed and is just adorable. I went with my 2 adult daughters and grandson. We all declared its a keeper and we plan to make it a tradition to return every year. One suggestion, offer more overstuffed soft places to sit and relax. There are many wooden chairs, that are attractive, but for some of us, an overstuffed sectional sofa would have been perfection."

Your home away from home that is all about R&R and reconnecting with the outdoors. A spacious modern suite with all you need for a perfect get away. There is no TV so you can thoroughly enjoy the peace & quiet. We do have free wifi. Cell phone coverage is spotty. Enjoy your coffee or wine out on the deck listening to nature. We have a gorgeous secluded 25 acre wooded lot. Enjoy!

This suite was all built by Brett over 3 years; completed in 2011. All appliances are new full sized stainless steel. Soap stone corner sink. Granite counter. A dining table that seats 4. Linens are provided for short term guests. If you are staying longer than 2 weeks we do ask you provide your own linens (queen sized sheets & towels). We have plenty of blankets & quilts for both beds. The sofa pulls out easily & has a very comfortable larger mattress. The bathroom has a standup spacious glass corner shower with over head heater, light & fan. Washer & dryer are located in the bathroom. Please bring your own laundry soap. Just ask to use the BBQ grill (you'll need your own charcoal). The corner gas wood stove heats the space nicely.

We are in an outdoor paradise with all winter, summer, spring, and fall activities. Just 90 minutes from Boston, 45 minutes from the Manchester airport, 20 minutes from Colby Sawyer College in New London.

Summer is absolutely gorgeous in New England. Weather varies & frequently changes but can range from 50-80's. We do have a window unit air conditioner if needed. And there is a very large ceiling fan.

Fall leaf peeping is at it's best here in NH peeking around 2nd week of October (depending on the weather) and going for a long drive or hike is a must.

Winter adventure is all around as we are very close to skiing at Mt. Sunapee Resort, Ragged Mountain, Pats Peak, and Eastman Cross Country Center. We generally cross country ski the nearby snowmobile trails. You can snowshoe our property for some great exercise.

4 Wheel drive and or All wheel drive are highly recommended in this area. The house is located ~1 mile off the main road and is a very compact dirt road. The road is town maintained for snow plowing and sanding.

This recently updated home is located on the crystal-clear waters of Lake Sunapee. It’s less than a 10-minute drive from New England’s finest ski resort, Mount Sunapee.

It’s nestled into a lovely, sandy bottom swimming cove and has a private 75’ dock to accommodate your motor craft.

The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, living room has a queen pull out couch and the upstairs loft has queen and full-size beds.

Equipped with a modern kitchen, sun porch, gas grill, and ample seating outside, you’ll feel right at home.

Amenities include a pellet stove, washer/dryer, two kayaks, two paddle boards, canoe 65” flat screen TV, Xbox and plenty of board games.

Sit back and relax and enjoy the mountain views or head out and explore the area. You will love how close it is to restaurants, local attractions, shops, grocery stores, and the lake harbors.

Outdoor quiet hours start at 9:00pm. Property is best suited for couples and families of four.

The charm of Lake Todd is that it is a private lake with three islands to explore and many secret coves for great fishing. It's perfect for small children as the beach has a gentle slope, but deep enough to jump off the end of the dock. You will have your own very private beach and a row boat to get to the islands or to look for fish. The cabin sits up on a small knoll that has views of the lake and the perennial garden.

There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other has two twins. The bathroom is located off the queen bedroom with another entrance off the kitchen. There are hard wood floors with an oriental rug in the living room, and the bedrooms are carpeted. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Guests bring their own sheets and towels. We can supply sheets and towels for an extra fee but please advise in advance. Blankets and pillows are provided. The nearest grocery store is Market Basket, at exit 9 off of Rte 89 N- about 10 miles away, we urge guests to stop there to get their groceries on the way in. There is a convenience store at the gas station in the town of Bradford, one mile away. There is a post office, library and laundry mat in Bradford as well.

Lake Todd is located in Newbury, New Hampshire - just 15 minutes from the town of Sunapee where you can book a dinner cruise on Lake Sunapee. Mt. Sunapee, with 2900 acres, offers hiking and bike trails. Mt. Sunapee State Park on Lake Sunapee has a sandy beach with a nominal entrance fee. There are restaurants in Newbury, just 5 miles away as well as in the town of Sunapee. New London, about a 25 minute drive, has a summer theater and many restaurants.

Mt. Kearsarge State Forest is about 15 miles away in the town of Warner. Mt. Kearsarge has a wonderful short hike from Rollins State Park with fantastic views on the way to the top of the mountain. If you find the weather tower open, you can see Vermont and the White Mountains. On the way to the park stop at the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum which has family activities and educational tours.

Travel time from Boston is about 1.5hrs and Manchester Airport, Manchester, NH is about 45 minutes away. Easy commute up Rte 93N to Rte 89N and take exit 9.

- "Quiet, private, restful cottage on the shore of Lake Todd. It was just as advertised: homey, clean, modern appliances with its own dock and private beach area. We swam(lazed)in Lake Todd most days using the provided pool meeting but we also traveled 10 minutes down the road to Lake Sunapee State Park where for $5 per adult you can use the beach while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Major grocery store (Market Basket) 15 minutes, fully stocked convenience store and gas station 2 minutes, multiple restaurants within 10 minutes. Newbury and Sunapee are where you eat out/take out a few nights and eat in a few nights; that kind of pace. Excellent wifi and 5G coverage too. Owner is wonderful and communicative with restaurants and other recommendations."
