Very scenic and clean Lake Winnisquam rental available. One of the best lake locations - easy to get to and you are ON the lake with grass yard, deck and step down sandy beach. Near famous water sandbar (Near bridge) that you can take a short boat ride to and anchor for a fun afternoon. You also have use of the dock for the week and there are boat rentals across the bridge! Doesn't get any easier than that. SPACIOUS studio with full kitchen, dining and living area with beautiful new slider to waters edge. Gorgeous water views and direct lakefront! It is a great time during the summer on the lake but the fall is incredibly beautiful and there is so much to do including nearby hiking. The winter of course offers snowmobiling, skiing, cross country, snowshoe, tubing and other cold weather sports.
For those of us that like to shop - the Tanger outlets are a mere 4 miles away! Funspot is nearby at Weirs beach and of course Meadowbrook for those outdoor concerts! The space is comfortable. We brought an air mattress for our kids which worked out better for us than the pull out couch. Overall a very positive and fun experience. We would definitely stay again!"

Our home is a cozy, contemporary getaway that allows you to enjoy the outdoors from indoors. The upstairs has a master bedroom suite with a brand new bathroom with shower and soaking tub. A queen bed here sleeps 2. The fun Travelers Room sleeps 2 on a full bed and the serene Green Room has a single bed. These two rooms share a brand new full bathroom with shower/tub. The basement has a separate private bedroom with a queen bed. The entertainment room in the basement has a Crate and Barrel pullout king size sleeper couch which is extremely comfortable and can sleep at least 2. There is a full bath with shower here also. Lastly on the first floor study there is a pullout couch which can sleep another 1-2.
The large kitchen is a great gathering place and has stainless steel appliances and an eat in area for 4. The dining room has an extension table which seats up to 10 for bringing family and friends together for memorable meals. The first floor living room has couches and seating around a warm gas fireplace under cathedral ceilings with views of the beautiful outdoor scenery.
The basement is a cool retreat with a large flat screen television and foosball table for some competitive fun. There are 3 other televisions throughout the house with satellite and Netflix access. There is also wifi and 2 amazon Echo dots in the house allowing access to a large music library and keeping you socially connected as needed.
Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the expansive wrap around deck. An iron patio table seats 8 for cookout meals and barbecuing on the Weber grill. Adirondack style chairs and gliders and two lounge chairs provide a restful spot to admire the spectacular 180 degree views from off the deck as well. The back yard has a manicured lawn, fire-pit and playground area with slide and swings and clubhouse for kid-time fun.
The house has an automated generator which can keep the home running at full capacity in case of a power outage.
There is always something to do in the Lakes area of New Hampshire no matter what the season. The towns of Laconia and Gilford are extremely close and you are within a half hour drive to the towns of Meredith and Tilton. Great restaurants surround the area from farm-to-table gourmet dining to lakeside lobster roll and ice cream shacks.
In the summer months outdoor activities such as hiking and boating predominate and in winter months Gunstock ski hill is about 15 minutes away. The fall foliage is breathtaking in the area.
The Bank of New Hampshire Pavillion (formerly known as Meadowbrook) is close by and the season line up of talented stars allows for some world class entertainment. Nearby taxfree shopping at the Tilton Tanger outlet mall is popular and other great towns such as Wolfeboro, North Conway and Lincoln make for nice day trips.

Enjoy a newly renovated home situated directly on Lake Winnisquam with Westerly exposure for exquisite sunsets. The property has 60' of sandy beach frontage with a private dock that can handle boats up to 24'. The beach area is a great place for family's to enjoy swimming including the fire pit for smore's and stargazing. There is a large outdoor deck with a gas grill that is ideal for dining and relaxing with exceptional sunset views. The driveway has plenty of space and can easily fit four cars and a boat trailer.

The inside of the house has a newly renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. There are three bedrooms, the first floor master with a queen bed, the loft bedroom has 2 queen beds.The 3rd bedroom is great for kids with two sets of bunk beds in the walk out lower level basement. Pirates cove mini- golf is about a 5-10 min. drive away. Weirs Beach with arcades, drive-in movie theater and go-carts are a 20 minute drive to Lake Winnipesaukee. The cottage is part of a Condominium Association formerly Phillips House Condo Association. This cottage is a well kept 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom summer vacation rental. It is perfect for families or small group looking for a relaxing time in New Hampshire's Lakes Region. The cottage comfortably sleeps 7 offering 1800 square feet of living space. The cottage has a large screened in porch with a lovely view of Lake Winnisquam and a large kitchen with full size appliances. Bed sheets and towels are not included but mattress pads, duvet covers and blankets are supplied. The cottage is part of a private condo association and requires no guest visit other than those on the reservation (strictly enforced). The cottage is nestled on 9 acres of common space directly on the shores of the lake. It is on the last cove of Lake Winnisquam so it is quiet with not a lot of boating in the cove other than from those that live on the cove so it is perfect for swimming. We have a dock that can accommodate 4 boats but it is shared with the other condo cottages on the property (7 other cabins). We have the potential to reserve one slip per cottage weekly if not previously booked by another cottage. Day moorings are available but again it needs to be scheduled in advance. Needless to say it is first booking first served. The property is secluded off of Route 3 so it is quiet and relaxing. There is a lot of activities to do in the NH Lakes region aside from playing at the lake. Come check us out! If you Google Street View - you will see the access road down to the cottages # 8 is at the base of the access road closest to the lake. The cottage colors are grey and red, If you look down you will see hints of them.. Cottage 8 is closest to the Lake. THE PROPERTY

Perfect location for a couple alone or with a couple of kids. The space is small, but functions well. The two queen bedrooms adjoin each other and the bathroom so the group needs to be OK with that shared space. There are 5 steps to enter then all on one floor. Two A/C window units, two freestanding heaters and baseboard heat keep you comfy. Free Wi-Fi and cable, flatscreen TV in the living area. Tv with DVD player and movies in main bedroom. Kitchen has all the basic cooking utensils, plates, etc. Range, refrigerator, coffee maker (Keurig and drip), toaster and microwave. The bathroom has a small stall shower. A propane grill is ready on the patio. Fire pit by the water! Four kayaks and two SUPs are shared with our associated rental unit plus many, many inflatable water toys. Bring your boat, the dock is 40’ and the rental comes with space for one boat up to 25’ and you can use our ramp to launch. (Dock avalable mid May through end of September). Parking for two cars is available near the cottage, and there is parking for guests or trailer in our lot just across the street.

Hiking trails are also nearby - Mount Major - 17 mi, Lockes Hill - 8 mi, WOW and Winni trail for biking and walking starts less than half a mile up the road and the White Mtns - Franconia notch and the Flume Gorge are less than an hour up Rt. 93. Other area highlights - New Hampshire Motor Speedway is 10 miles away and there is a petting farm and mini golf just around the corner. NH Bank Pavilion is in Guilford just 12 min away.

- "The cottage was small compared to other places we've stayed but had everything we needed, so no complaints. We arrived to find little snacks and toys (chalk, water gun, water toy, bubbles) for my 5 year old which she loved. There was also a bottle of wine, pancake mix/syrup and all the smores fixings! The owners were around and very pleasant, the water/driveway/kayaks etc as noted are shared with the owners and nextdoor rental, thankfully ours were lovely, but if you arent into sharing it may not be for you. The area was cute, we took a few neighborhood walks, went to the nearby farm, walked to the country store/ice cream and mostly hung around the water/cottage. Lots of dining and grocery stores nearby. When we visited the water was high so there was no beach, but the water is shallow very far out so we didnt miss it. Would definitely recommend!"

- "Had a fabulous time at this lake house. Plenty of room, beach excellent for all ages swimming. grandchildren loved it. fishing from dock, swimming and scuba from the beach. Weather cooperated. Fires at night. Great Memories made." - "My family and I had a great vacation at the Lakefront Retreat. It was very clean and Craig even left us real maple syrup and candies, which was very thoughtful. The air conditioner was already running when we arrived, which was very much appreciated since it was a hot, humid day. The location is great and we were able to get a lot of boating time in. We enjoyed eating on the back patio with the beautiful view and watching the other boats in the lake. There are some people walking from the public part of the boat dock through the back yard of the property to go to the Country Store or The Lobster Connection. The people were all courteous but it is worth mentioning if you are looking for complete privacy. Also my kids, husband, and I really enjoyed the ice cream stand that is right next door. Having a washer and dryer was another plus. Craig was a great host and we look forward to renting from him again."

- "My husband, my 2 kids and I stayed here for a week at the lake. The area is spacious- much more so than it shows in pictures. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The dock was great for fishing off of. The water is in a “no wake zone” so although there is boat traffic, it is nice and calm. We will be staying here again!" - "My husband, 6 yr old son and I had a great week at the Lakeside Funky Ski Chalet. The set up is perfect for anyone traveling with younger kids because although it's on the smaller side, you can't hear what's going on in the living room when in the bedrooms. The place was clean when we arrived and you could tell that everything was pretty much brand new. We loved having our morning coffee on the little porch overlooking the lake. There's also a patio downstairs if you prefer more room, but we thought it was fantastic being higher up. There is a marina right across the way if you want to rent a boat, which we did, and the sandbar is so close that we were able to take our paddle boards over in minutes. The house is located right behind a seafood restaurant and just steps away from the general store, which had fabulous sandwiches and pizza. It wasn't a far drive to the Tanger Outlets, Weir's Beach, Fun Spot, Meredith Center and the Squam Lakes Science Center, which is one of my favorite places to visit while in NH and I think a must for anyone traveling with kids. Being only the second renters there were a few kinks to be worked out (minor things), but the host, Craig, handled them immediately. He was actually one of the most attentive hosts we've dealt with in our many years of renting through VRBO."

- "Great property. For a small one bedroom it was setup very well. Very updated" - "Craig was very responsive with any request we had. The location is wonderful. We loved sitting out and enjoying the lake. We will definitely return!" - "5+ Stay!! We happened upon this last minute and it could not have been more perfect. Craig (the property owner) went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The Cabin/Cottage felt like home the moment we stepped inside. Newly renovated with modern appliances (super quiet dish washer, washer & dryer), a very comfortable bed, plenty of all types of linens and all the utensils and household needs are there. The bathroom is a great size with a shower unit. The a/c unit was more than efficient. There are two ceiling fans that work great as well. Now the outside! The sandy beach where you can walk right into the water is about 15 feet from the the small porch where we had coffee every morning, sitting in the provided lounge chairs (that have clip-on table/cup holders). The lawn is a perfect place to play games or just relax. We could have brought our boat and docked right out-front of our place, we will next time! There was a glitch in the internet and it was handled quickly. His communication is excellent and timely. Craig came over to check-in and make sure we had everything we needed. We learned this is a family owned and operated business. They own the Winnisquam Country Store (also 5+stars try the breakfast sandwich!) and the Ice cream truck all within a minutes walk!
