Welcome to Hidden Valley, a private community where this outstanding waterfront home was custom built by Fenton Varney. If you are looking to get away from the noisy city life and experience true piece and quiet then look no further. This property features 125 ft of waterfront and a private dock. Situated on Lower Beech Pond which is a small Oligotrophic lake with a sandy bottom. Ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding etc.

About the house: Gourmet kitchen with cherry cabinetry, basalt sink and counter tops,Wolf Propane stove, Frigidaire Pro Series dishwasher, Sub Zero refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, Breville gourmet coffee maker, plus Viking wine cooler, are all beneath the custom barrel ceiling. Our oversized, custom made dinning table seats 10 and is perfect for big feast. Ash flooring dominates the entire first floor with radiant heat floors in the open concept living/dining room. Additional warmth is generated by the imported European ceramic wood/coal stove. A custom built wood ceiling adds to the room's ambiance as do the French doors opening onto the deck and screened porch with views of Mount Shaw, the Ossipee Mountains and pristine waters of Lower Beech Pond. This property also features two car garage.

Bedroom description: Master bedroom suite features a king size bed, master bath, walk-in closet, and private deck with lake views. Second bedroom also features a king size bed, beautiful oversized custom window. Both these bedrooms are located on the first level along with an additional half bath. The 3rd bedroom is located on the second level, along with a private bathroom. This bedroom in outfitted with two queen size beds. Fourth and fifth bedroom is located on the ground level.

Sheets are guaranteed to always be fresh and clean.

Additionally to the 2 king and 4 queen size beds, the living room couch is a sleeper. Also a queen size. If you would like to use it please let us know so we can provide you with extra sheets.

Recently renovated cottage with living room, eat in kitchen and queen bedroom on first level. Queen bedroom and 3rd bedroom with bunk beds and single bed in same room and full bath on second floor. Inside balcony on second floor looks down into living room. Linens and towels provided.

Cottage water is from the Lake with filtration, no chemical treatment added. The cottage has bottled Spring Water available for drinking purposes.

The cottage is accessible by boat only. Boat launching is available at several locations, 19 Mile Bay (Union Landing) several miles away with parking for car and boat trailer. Public dock available for daytime docking only. A launching ramp is also available at the end of Long Island Road, parking here is roadside and very limited, there is a public dock with very limited availability. Rental boats are available at local Marina's, with contact information that we can provide as part of the booking process. We suggest you kindly check boat rental prices prior to booking as they can be higher than the property charges.

The cottage is not handicapped accessible, there are stairs into the house and to the second floor bathroom.

Complete kitchen with accessories, new refrigerator, gas stove, coffee maker, toaster oven and microwave. Wireless internet access and ROKU HD television with wireless Blue Ray DVD player. No cable TV.

Cottage shares dock for up to a 26' boat and water access with owners cottage next door, shore frontage is rocky with steps into the Lake, no sandy beach, but sandy lake bottom at base of steps. Owner or owners family may be in the cottage next door.

Cottage has 2 different length canoes, 2 kayaks, a 3 person sea kayak and a paddle board available.

- "The home was exactly as described and the pictures were accurate. The views were awesome...we caught a couple sunrises which were beautiful. We used the kyacks and the canoe...fished from the dock. The home had everything we needed for a family of 6. We rented a boat from Trexlers Marina which worked out pretty well. I'd recommend renting from a nearby marina as you'll need your car from time to time for day trips/grocery shopping...a nearby marina will simplify island logistics. The lake is huge and the open water areas can get rough-we rented a 21 foot boat and I wouldn't have wanted anything smaller. The hosts were EXTREMELY responsive and really went above and beyond. I left a life jacket behind that belonged to the marina and the hosts returned it for us...How nice!"

Loonrise is located above a quiet cove 6 miles west of Wolfeboro on NH's largest lake. The ,main house has 5 bedrooms with queen or double beds - three on the second floor with air conditioners and two on the first, including a room with bunk beds. The cozy lakeside sleeping cabin has twin beds but has no electricity or plumbing. There are two full bathrooms in the main house. The fully equipped kitchen comes with an electric stove, microwave, garbage disposal and dishwasher. There is also a propane grill on the 40' deck, facing the lake. Bed linens and towels are provided and there is a washer and dryer in the basement.
There is a media room with wifi, HDTV with Roku, a DVD player and DVD collection. There is no cable tv. It has air conditioning, two couches, a recliner, a rocking chair and table with four chairs. This room is separated from the main house by the “mud room” and allows noisy activities to be contained. Loonrise's library has children's and adult books.
Two one person kayaks with paddles and life jackets are also available.
Renters are welcome to bring their own boat, as rental includes use of one side of the 30' dock. There is parking for 5 cars on Barber Pole Road above the house. There is no parking directly by the lake.

Who wouldn't want to spend a week or two on one of the largest, cleanest most beautiful lakes in NH. The property has 3 cabins, of which two are rented as a pair (the other may at times by occupied by the owner on the weekends). The beautiful beach and grass yard area will provide you the perfect family vacation. Each of the cabins has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and a screen porch. The nice level lot leads right out to the private sandy beach with no outdoor obstacles such as rocks, stairs or cliffs. Our beach is certainly one of the absolute nicest beaches on the lake. Situated in sandy Melvin Bay, the sand cascades from the beach and into the water as far out as you can walk! The water gradually becomes deeper which is perfect for children, grandparents and everyone in between.

This property is perfect for anyone that is looking for the sun all day since the property faces west. The sun comes up over the trees in the AM and stays with you all day until you have front row seats to a stunning sunset! For our guests who prefer some shade, you may want to bring a beach umbrella as there are few trees along the beach.

Also included is the use of our 40' dock with prior approval and description of the watercraft you will be docking (dock adequate for boats up to 22'). Use of our canoe, kayaks and pedal-boat (with plenty of life vests on hand) is included. The water is currently approximately 40" deep at the end of the dock. Water depth cannot be guaranteed. The dock is sturdy and has no problem securing our 22' inboard boat.

- "The house was very clean and the owner was very nice. The property has great access to the lake which made taking our snowmobiles out for ice fishing a breeze, though on a year with more ice I wonder how the shelf entering the lake would have been (not a ding, just mentioning for future fisherman). As far as the house goes there was a gas fire stove in the room by the deck which made sitting watching the activity on the lake very enjoyable. Melissa was very nice and logged into her YouTube TV so that we could watch a football game one of the nights. Everything worked without issue. There were two ring cameras outside but I never saw the recording LED light up so I assume they were off. The only thing I noticed was that the water from one of the sinks had a sulfur smell but we brought our own bottled water so other than brushing teeth this wasn't a major issue. Great place and would stay again!"

- "At the time of booking, there were no reviews for this property. My group and I took the chance, and we're happy we did. The space accommodated our group (8) nicely. The home had nearly all the cooking amenities we needed (dishes, pots, pans). The proximity to hiking trails and the ground of the property were both perks as well. My only feedback includes that the beds (with the exception of the master bedroom) were very hard/firm, we needed to purchase additional cleaning supplies, and we did not know where to put the trash until 2-3 days into the booking (it's near the garage but we didn't notice the sign)."

The main house is a late 1800s farmhouse. On the lower level, there is a large dining room, an eat-in kitchen with stunning views, a half bath, and walk out access to the lake. On the main level, there is a large living room with glass sliders which open to a screened in porch with wonderful lake views. There is also one bedroom with a full-size bed. The main bathroom is located on this level with a claw foot tub and separate shower. On the upper level, there are 4 bedrooms, two with queen-size beds and two with full-size beds. There are window unit air conditioners in each bedroom as well as in the living room.

The one-level cottage is located at the water’s edge. Welcome to the Cowbell Cottage! We are nestled in the small town of Tuftonboro in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. The Cowbell Cottage is a small, cozy and dog friendly cottage on 5 acres off a private dirt road. We welcome well-behaved, potty trained dogs to come vacation with their families. We have a small, 4 foot tall dog fence attached to the house for your dog to play and for potty breaks. The Cowbell Cottage is perfect for a small family or couple looking for a quiet get away. Please note that the Cowbell Cottage is unable to host large groups or parties. No more than 5 guests!! Enjoy our two small, but cozy bedrooms and one full bath. In the winter time you can fire up the pellet stove after snowmobiling on the lake! Or hang on the back yard deck after a day of swimming in the summer. The Cowbell Cottage is enjoyable during all of New England's seasons. The cottage is located then a mile from Lake Winnipesaukee 19 Mile Bay Area where you can enjoy a public beach and public boat launch. We are also less than a mile from Mirror Lake, 10 mins from down town Wolfeboro, one hour from the White Mountains and 1.5 hrs from Boston. It's the perfect location.

Welcome to Lapping Waters, a casual user-friendly summer cottage with two additional rustic bunkhouses with private sandy beach, dock, and raft. The main cottage is literally steps from Lake Winnipesaukee (LW), with a large deck overlooking the water, mountain views to the west and north. The property is situated at the entrance of the Barber Pole on LW, with a small private cove and a sandy beach, across from Cow Island. There are three buildings included in this rental. The main cottage has three simple bedrooms that sleep 8 with one bathroom. The rustic upper cabin bunk house has three simple bedrooms that sleeps 8 with one bathroom. We were a group of 12 and were able to enjoy a weekend of fun throughout the property and never even considered leaving the grounds because it had everything we wanted all in one place. Wonderful stay. Wonderful host." - "From the driveway entrance to the front door entrance we were already saying WOW. The foyer takes you to the back view of the mountains. While you look left and right and upward to the beautiful decor. The owners definitely share the warmth of their home with you. The barn was a fun walk to see the alpacas and mini ponies. It was the highlight for our family who love animals especially my granddaughter. The lake house was such an extra. Unfortunately the weather was too cold for the lake activities. I would love to go back again. The host was very kind to answer my questions immediately. This has to best the best in NH!"

And it was only 9 minutes away from the wedding venue so it was ideally located. Not a typical rental property. Owners food, clothing and possessions are not removed., internet only through hotspot.
