For the cold seasons there is a cozy wood stove and comfortable forced hot water baseboard heat. NEW CENTRAL A/C for the warmer weather. Only minutes from many large downhill and cross country ski resorts as well as ice skating, snowmobile trails and snowshoeing. Only 10 minutes to Cranmore Ski Resort, 15 minutes to Attitash, 25 minutes to Black Mountain, 40 minutes to Wildcat, 45 minutes to Bretton Woods as well as others. Take your pick! The spring, summer and fall offer Storyland, scenic train rides, hiking, river and lake swimming, boating, river rafting, zip lines, biking, tax-free outlet shopping and great restaurants are all close by. Only 2 miles from the Scenic Kancamagus Highway with hiking, covered bridges, picnic areas, waterfalls and swimming holes on the Swift River. Bike from the door on the popular loop 203, that brings you down Passaconaway Road, West Side Road and the Kancamagus. There is a large covered porch/deck and patio area with a fire pit in the back yard. This rustic lodge has all the modern conveniences. It is in a quiet setting convenient to both Conway and North Conway. The Adirondack style house has tree bark siding, stone and wood accents and is nestled on a 3 acre private wooded lot. You will know you are in the beautiful White Mountains but will be only minutes away from tax-free shopping, restaurants and area attractions. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to a make a sandwich or a full turkey dinner. It is furnished with a granite countertop island and stainless steel appliances. In a separate dining area there is a table that seats 10 comfortably. You can relax and watch the fire by the warm wood stove in the living area. We provide the wood! Off of the dining room is a nook with comfy seating and natural light. The master suite with king size bed and master bath is secluded at one end of the home and 2 bedrooms each with queen size beds and another bath are on the opposite side allowing for privacy. A small room with a comfortable futon is also located on the main floor and can be used for sleeping or a quiet place to read or work. In the lower level there is a room with 4 twin beds, leather couch and chairs in a large area with a 55" smart tv, and Wii gaming system. Not only do we provide the linens but the beds will be made for you when you arrive! Equipped with high speed internet access, WIFI, cable, phone and a total of 3 smart tv's in the house. There are expansive windows to view the beautiful natural surroundings and glimpses of the tip of Moat Mountain. Children are always welcome. Non smoking only, pets considered. The level driveway allows for easy access in all seasons. There is a whole house generator so you will never be without power. The house was built in 2012 and is clean and has been well kept. There is something for everyone all year long!

This home is in a quiet neighborhood. Conway has a strict noise ordinance and we do not allow parties. The driveway is monitored with security cameras. Between the hours of 10pm and 7am excessive and unnecessary noises are subject to visitation from the local authorities and possibly fines. Please be courteous of our neighbors by being mindful of the noise level during your stay. We do allow a maximum of 2 dogs per visit. There is a $150.00 fee per dog. Any dog(s) need to be indicated at the time of registration.

- "We loved our stay at Ron and Sue’s beautiful property. It couldn’t have been more perfect and elegant with one exception. The downstairs with 4 boys and one adult really need at least a half bath. Nine people had plenty of space except when we were all trying to get out in the morning or for nighttime’s bath and showers. Thanks Ron and Sue for a great family stay!" - "The photos don’t do the house justice; it’s even bigger and nicer. First impressions: the house was welcoming, clean, homey, and cozy. We had a full house (9 people) for the first weekend, so that we could enjoy time with friends who were visiting from the mid-west. The remainder of the week was just a few of us. There was plenty of sleeping space for all, and the kitchen was well stocked to prepare our big spaghetti dinner. We enjoyed hanging out on the back porch deck, spending time in the nook, sitting by the fire pit, and exploring the area via bicycle. One friend enjoyed nature walks around the pond, photographing tiny frogs and mushrooms. Ron & Sue were super friendly in their emails and responded quickly to all inquiries. They provided a wonderful welcome packet that was full of detailed and helpful information. Two of their dining recommendations were Elvio’s Pizzeria and Muddy Moose. We thoroughly enjoyed both. We also found a couple of gems that we just had to visit more than once! Leavitt’s Country Bakery provided a rest stop on our bike rides, and a delicious sweet treat. Big Dave’s Bagels is a must for anyone who wants to get a “bagel with a schmere”. And don’t forget to try a kweenie! All in all, the house was comfortable and the location was perfect. There’s so much to do in the area, yet the house had the privacy and quiet we craved to relax & unwind. It was hard to leave the place we started to call “home”. We can’t wait to come back!!"

This little cabin has been constructed in the lower level of my log home. This cabin is fully equipped. It has a full kitchen with stove and refrigerator, a full bathroom with full shower, a bedroom with a queen size bed that includes all the bedding (linens, blankets and pillows). The living room has a recliner chair as well as a sleep sofa which can sleep two. The living room also has a TV with full cable. It has WiFi for your convenience (Password will be given once your stay has been secured). It has full heat for winter and cold AC for the summer. The kitchen has all complete cookware, glasses, coffee mugs, utensils, a coffee pot with coffee, powdered cream and sugar. You have your own private entrance. A lock box hangs to the left of the entry way with the cabin key in it. Once your getaway is confirmed you will be provided with the combination. This is an exceptionally quiet neighborhood. This is not a party house. It is not suitable for children. I am pet friendly for a number of reasons. I have traveled with my pets for 30 years and have always found it difficult to find pet friendly places. Most pets are considered family members and most pet owners enjoy traveling with their pets. This property is 1/2 mile off Kancamangus one of the most scenic roads in the US. There are countless hiking trails that range from very easy to very difficult very close by. Biking, canoeing, kayaking, skiing (X-country and alpine), horseback riding and golfing are just a few of the many activities close by. For those less enthusiastic about the great outdoors, the infamous "outlet shopping" stores are a short 10 minute drive. The Conway Scenic Railroad is a five minute drive. North Conway has numerous restaurants which is a short 10 minute drive. Darby Field Inn is a stones throw from the little cabin.

The property is located near several hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Our pup loved it. The cabin was also comfortable enough for us to leave him behind for a short time while we went out for some shopping. Quiet private neighborhood large yard, woods out back for cross country skiing or snow shoeing. Minutes from downtown, ski areas, Kancamagus Highway, Saco River and yes North Conway's great shopping and dining! Just remodeled all bedding, towels, furnishing, kitchen equipment, heat and central A/C new. You will need nothing show up and enjoy the White Mountains and everything the area has to offer! Yes wood is provided for relaxing by the wood stove! This duplex has the manager living year round in the other unit, Christine is a great help in whatever your needs might be.

A couple of towel hooks in the upstairs bath would be helpful but the third bedroom wasn’t being used so we used the hooks on the back of the doors. I especially loved all the storage room in the bedrooms, something most places lack! So wonderfully located and quiet! We all had a great time! Our friends enjoyed the entire space and time as well!
