After doing research for a hotel stay, we decided to stay at The Jeremiah Mason Bed and Breakfast. I want to say that our stay was the highlight of the trip! The minute we walked in, Valerie treated us like we were family. She explained all the features of the inn, and asked us what we wanted for breakfast and if we had any allergies or wanted especial requests. It was a very pleasant experience. Come spend your vacation on beautiful Lake Arrowhead, an 1100-acre lake located between Portland, Maine, and North Conway, NH, and only two hours north of Boston. Our cottage was built in 2010 on 1.5 acres of beautifully wooded land. It is sunny, cozy, has an open floor plan, and contains all of the comforts of home, such as wireless Internet. Two bedrooms, both with queen mattresses, along with a loft area with four twin mattresses, sleep 4 adults and 4 children comfortably. Two baths, one on each floor, allow for privacy, and the first-floor bath contains a tub for bathing the little ones! A full-sized washer and dryer are located in the walkout basement and we updated the kitchen with new cabinets, quartz countertops, a tiled backsplash, a new range, a new microwave, and a new sink.

In the summer, rest on the screened-in porch with water views, sit on the private dock, or explore the lake by kayak. Guests can enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, gym, tennis courts, and playgrounds of the Lake Arrowhead community. An outdoor fire pit allows for building new family memories.

We are old-fashioned and like to talk to all of our renters to make sure all of our expectations are clear. We want our renters to be happy and have an amazing vacation. Unfortunately, VRBO requires that renters make a payment before we can talk directly. We have learned over the years that a short personal conversation makes the difference between a good vacation and a great one.

Summer rentals are weekly from Saturday to Saturday. We offer special monthly and seasonal rates for Fall, Winter, and Spring.

Come enjoy your vacation in our home on Sokokis Lake. Dog friendly and sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. This is the perfect places for a family getaway.

There are three bedrooms- the main floor bedroom has a queen bed, and each of the two upstairs bedrooms have queen beds (one of the upstairs bedrooms also has a twin bed). In between the two upstairs bedrooms, there is a common area that has an additional twin bed, futon, and chair/end table.

The bathroom on the main floor has a washer/dryer and shower. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower. Sheets and towels are provided.

Additional amenities include: a large deck with gas grill, beautiful full kitchen (with a gorgeous view of the lake), and an open concept dining room/living room with large TV.

Air conditioning, internet and cable are all included. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils, pots & pans and basic food items. Paper towels and toilet paper will be stocked for your convenience.

Outside, enjoy the large deck with grill and deck furniture. There is a gently sloping grassy yard (with firepit) that leads to the lake, where you will find a dock and steps leading into the water. (See included pictures).

A rowboat and a paddle boat are available for use (and life jackets). You can also bring your own boat, kayaks, canoes, etc. Please no jet skis. There is a public boat launch just across the way. Bass fishing is also a big draw to Sokokis Lake- bring your rods!

Our location in Limerick is just 45 minutes from outlet shopping in North Conway, NH and 45 from Portland, ME. Ocean beaches are between 45-55 minutes away.

Limerick offers the small town feel with a few restaurants, a small grocery store, ice cream/donut shop, and pizza all within just a couple of miles.

The cabin sits in a beatiful cove where there is little to no boat traffic. The dock was big enough for multiple people to fish off of. The lake is a bass fishing dream. If you take a boat there are endless perfect places to fish. We were catching them nonstop all week. Meet "Camp George 2", the sister camp of "Camp George" located 4-1/2 miles away on the same beautiful Lake Arrowhead (visit VRBO.com/587592). When this property came on the market we immediately knew we had to own it. It is very private - you can't see any neighboring houses. Three private bedrooms and a large open concept living area with 1-1/2 baths all on one level opening to a huge (400 square foot) rear deck overlooking the private wooded back yard, more than 100' of shoreline and a private dock. Our "unfinished basement" adds another 1,000 square feet of guest friendly space. Here we have our laundry area, a table and 4 bistro chairs for board games or puzzles, an extensive assortment of DVDs, VHS tapes, board games and puzzles, a 55" Roku TV with a DVD/VCR player, ping pong, shuffleboard, practice golf putting, etc. Best of all, the adjoining lot is "Beach #1", owned and maintained by Lake Arrowhead Community Association. This beach is more than 100' wide with a cordoned off area providing safe swimming for children, picnic tables and toilet facilities. It is not open to the general public, just homeowners within the Lake Arrowhead community and their guests.

- "My family of 4 stayed at camp George 2 this August for a week. Gps got us there without a hitch. Upon arrival I was remarkably impressed with how accurate the listing for the property is to what was provided. You definitely get what they tell you they are offering! There's are no absurd house rules as with some previous houses we've stayed in either. The owners definitely provide a great vacation experience with this property. Everything we needed to use the property to it's fullest was provided (one exception potentially being child sized life vests but they mention that in the listing). The house is well organized to find things that you're looking for. The basement was a kids dream with all the old fashioned screenless fun you could enjoy. They had ample fun board games too! If the basement doesn't have it, the clubhouse did with a billiards table, air hockey and indoor pool. While we didn't rent the pontoon it was stationed on our dock as a "floating porch" and we enjoyed it immensely and it became a favorite place to enjoy the morning coffee (even if we spilled it all the way down the hill). If it hadn't been there, there were also benches up from the dock for the same enjoyment. The water crafts were in great supply and they also had fishing supplies which was super helpful since we forgot our tackle box at home. The laundry facility in the basement was a perfect set up. All the beds were creak-free and very comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking."

Our Mini dachshund has never enjoyed water that much in her life and the kayaks and paddle board along with my canoe were used almost every day with the exception of one day when we went to Portland (less than an hour away) for shopping and some of the best dining in New England. Mike and Kathy were always in contact and easy to reach if we needed anything. They even left a S'mores kit for us and encouraged us to use the fire pit by the lake. The whole family wants to come back next year."

This 1,810 sq ft house has 100 ft of private waterfront, its own private dock (seasonal May to October), and a wood burning stove for your enjoyment. With incredible sunset views and it’s amazing location, you will make lasting memories in this one of a kind experience.

At 192 acres, Sokokis Lake is large enough to enjoy water skiing but also small enough that you can enjoy swimming, fishing, or lounging on your very own dock. There is a public boat ramp available and guests are welcome to use our dock.

Tucked away in the small town of Limerick, Maine you’ll enjoy this quiet slice of nature just 2 hours from Boston.

While you’ll spend most of your time enjoying the lake and this quiet getaway there are plenty of other things to do nearby. Dine in several nice restaurants within 20 minutes. And, all less than an hour is Portland (50 min), Kennebunkport (45 min), Old Orchard Beach (40 min), and Conway NH (50 min).

PETS: Pets are NOT allowed. We love pets, however some of our family members are very allergic. There are several pet-friendly rentals in the area that would love to host your family.

CHECK IN/OUT: Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are sometimes allowed on a case by case basis.

The large dining table, sunroom, and deck with table and chairs all have a view overlooking the lake. So wherever you are in the evening you always have a beautiful view of the sunset. Our all season spacious lakeside home has three bedrooms, a spacious dining and breakfast nook area & plenty of room for the family on the couches in the living room for movie night. There is a game room (with ping pong table, lots of board games, and even a mini miss Pac-Man arcade game) in the finished basement. You’ll enjoy the large deck on the back to grill or relax & enjoy nature on. Only a few doors down from a park with swings, slides and other play ground equipment. Also less than a mile from our community clubhouse that has both an indoor & outdoor pool, air hockey & pool table. It’s not only great here in the summer, Fall on the lake is breathtaking with all colors of the changing leaves and the fishing can’t be beat, Winter brings ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and even skiing (less than an hour away), Spring brings mud season with miles of trails nearby to explore. No matter the season there’s lots to do or not do (why not just relax on the deck or at the pool?).
