We are a custom built home designed by Maine archetect Caleb Johnson and are settled on a wooded lot which overlooks Biddeford Pool Marsh which is a Rachel Carson bird sanctuary. We are a 2 minute walk to the center of the Campus of the University of New England and a 7 minute walk to Hills Beach a secluded Maine beach . We are also just a 10 minute drive or a bike ride to Fortunes Rocks beach which offers two miles of sand and is known for its surfing. Biddeford Pool (3 miles) Kennebunkport (10 miles) Old Orchard beach (12 miles) and Portland (20 miles) are an easy drive.

Room offers one bedroom with en suite bathroom. We have a living room with potential to sleep several on a jumbo recliner couch and on 2 extra long twin beds. This is a completely private living room for our guests. There is a second full bathroom off the first floor hall and serves guests sleeping in the living room. We DO NOT have a full kitchen but do have a small refrigerator, microwave and toaster. Continental breakfast supplies are available in the living room. A hot tub, beach equipment, and robs are a few of the amenities that are included. We have strong WiFi. Hot tub is open in the winter but is a little more difficult to access In winter.

- "The property is a perfect spot with Biddeford Pool on the back side and the beach right across the street. Beautiful view from the deck especially when the sun goes down. A little too hot during the day when the sun is beating down. Would have been a lot better if there was some kind of table with umbrella on the deck. We had a problem with the refrigerator when we arrived but Sarah got to work on it right away and provided us with ice in the mean time. She even offered to reimburse us for some of our meats that were lost due to this, She was very easy to get a hold of and responsive. Overall the place was perfect for our vacation."

- "Fortune's Rocks Beach is a gorgeous 2 mile long sandy beach and from this house you can walk there in two minutes. When you sit on the large wrap around deck, you can see & hear the surf. This is beach living! The house is a bit dated but has all the necessities - and did I mention it is only a two minute walk to a gorgeous sand beach?!" - "We arrived on a beautiful day in Maine to an excellent location on Fortune’s Rocks. The cottage is bright and breezy and has the basic necessities. We were greeted by a welcome note of wine and blueberry jam. The views were just wonderful and we had a lovely week of weather. However, the cottage was in serious need of a deep clean as we encountered spider webs with dead bugs in every corner, mouse droppings and glue traps, and an odor of mothballs consistent throughout our stay. All fans and screens had dead bugs in them. Dirty pots and dishes had been stored in the cabinets as well. I have stayed in many “quaint” locations but non in so desperate need of a a cleaning and refurbishment. Cleaning a beach house on my first day of vacation is not the definition of relaxation. Perhaps those in the future will find a clean and breezy quintessential Maine cottage."

The Red Cottage is fully furnished with all the comforts of home. The first floor features a living room, large bedroom with queen bed, fully stocked kitchen, one bathroom, sitting room with washer/dryer and three season porch. The large backyard has a patio with grill for summer cookouts, seating for 6, or sit under the pines by the babbling brook with a good book. A short walk through the woods brings you to the bluff overlooking the marsh and river, with views to the ocean beyond. There are fox, deer, waterfowl, hawks and eagles, the kayakers, fishing and recreational boaters, and the ebb and flow of the river.

University of NE half a mile down the road. I walked by the campus every morning and there is a public path to Hills Beach 1.5 miles from the house if you enjoy walks. Wonderfully decorated and renovated. Third property from the beach. New windows in 2015, completely resided the outside in 2016, painted the inside in May 2017, brand new flooring in 2018.

Hill's Beach is very quiet and just far enough to get away from all the tourist beaches. For the most part, the only people who frequent this area of beach are those who live on the street, approximately 10 houses. So the large, sandy beach is almost all yours!

With an outside shower, you can rinse off with warm water after coming up from the beach!

If you have kids (like our family), you will enjoy the peace of mind being on a side street with very little traffic and the large yard for the kids to run and play while they wait for you to go to the beach. Once on the beach you will find a majestic, panoramic view of islands and a jetty...It is fabulous!

This beautiful contemporary colonial home is less than one mile -- less than a 20 minute walk-- to the gorgeous beaches of Biddeford Pool. Located on a 3.5 acre parcel at the end of a private road and surrounded by a nature preserve, this property is exceptionally private and pristine. The house is elevated on a craggy coastal bluff. A glassed-in front porch is a terrific place to enjoy the morning sun, and a large open deck is a perfect gathering spot for sunning, outdoor grilling and viewing sunsets over the marsh. The hilltop setting and nearby ocean produce coastal breezes and you can often hear the surf. When not in the mood for the beach, guests can enjoy a large, above ground pool attached to the back deck.
The first floor features a gourmet kitchen, a spacious dining room, and a double parlor living room with double patio doors leading to a large, open deck. One of the living rooms, separated by French doors, includes a dart board, Ms. Pac Man/Galaxian arcade game and card table, but can also be utilized as a bedroom for those choosing to stay on the first floor. A first floor bath features a large custom shower with granite pebble floor located near the entrance, a perfect place to rinse off after a day on the beach.
Six large bedrooms are located on the upper floors. The second floor features three bedrooms, two of which share a common bath. The master has a private bath. Three bedrooms on the third floor share a full bath. The five king and one queen size beds are all exceptionally comfortable with individually wrapped coils and quality linens (linen service is provided, but guests need to make up their beds on arrival). If the ocean breezes don’t keep you cool enough, the central AC on the upper floors will!
The first floor entry, sunroom, kitchen and dining rooms have custom tile floors, while the living room is oak. All stairs, catwalks and bedrooms have beautiful blond maple floors with area rugs spread throughout. The large palladium window and cathedral ceiling above the foyer allows plenty of light to shine on a two-story, central staircase, while framing views of the front lawn from the catwalk. There are five TVs, high speed Wi-Fi and all new appliances. There is plenty of parking along the circular driveway and enough room for a boat or an RV. The lawn area is approximately one acre with plenty of flat, wide open space. The back porch can be accessed from a handicap accessible ramp. It is quiet and peaceful in the absence of any traffic noise or light pollution. This is a great place for stargazing. Portland is less than 30 minutes away and Kennebunkport is just a 15 minute drive.

Delightful in a private compound at the end of the street. Two bedroom and one bath rancher looking down on secluded Little Beach on Saco Bay. Swim, kayak, paddle board or bring some pails and shovels for the kids to play in the sand. Two and a half mile long ocean beach a four minute walk away. A three minute walk to quaint downtown Biddeford Pool with and old fashioned grocery store, lobster pound, gift shop, and post office. Portland is just 25 minutes, and Kennebunk and Kennebunkport just 15 minutes driving time away.

Full kitchen and deck with pond views make this alternative to hotel stay perfect for a couple (UNE parents take note). Short walk to Fortunes Rocks Beach (or quick drive), and not far from Goose Rocks, Cape Poprpoise, Kennebunkport and Biddeford/Saco area. Great area for beach, biking, hiking as well as great dining options in Kennebunkport (including nearby Cape Porpoise) and Biddeford.

The condo is in the sand, she is a little dated, but if you want to be able to walk out onto the beach this is a great spot. The condo has a new bath 2021. The neighbors are all great and it is a really fun spot to just stay and enjoy. There is 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a pull out loveseat in the living room, the pull out is a full size.

The cottage itself is absolutely stunning - boasting a gorgeous layout, high-end finishes, & every amenity you could possibly need. The kids loved playing games, exploring the pond & grounds, & perusing the collection of books. We enjoyed cooking in the expansive kitchen, watching the snow fall outside the large windows, & cozying up by the fire to watch Christmas movies together. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms spacious & luxurious, & the entire home is immaculate. Our family originally came to Maine to experience Christmas Prelude but ended up spending most of our time at the cottage - and not one of us regrets it. The most unique and wonderful piece is the fact that they have included a vegetable garden specifically where you can enjoy picking your own produce and cooking it right there. - "I stayed here as it is a close drive to Old Orchard Beach as well as many other attractions like the water park, amusement park, and carnival. Lorenzzo is an amazing host with great communication. During my stay, I felt like I was in amazing hands as Lorenzzo made sure to always check to see if we needed any help. The high tech house was also so cool, and Lorenzzo was there to help us learn to use all of it! Overall 11/10, and I look forward to staying in Lorenzzo’s apartments again in the future!"

Each bedroom holds a queen bed as well as a double futon in the back bedroom.The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy your time.
*Please Note: Seeds of Hope is a non profit day center offering support to our cities housing and food insecure population. People may gather on South Street before meals are served. We have had no issues with any of the clients of Seeds of Hope.
*Also Note: The apartment is on the second floor. The stairs are slightly steeper than modern stairs. There is a handrail but it is not suitable for anyone who can not use stairs.

The beach at Biddeford Pool is a nice, quiet, private sandy beach and the view is just exquisite.

Each house has 1 queen size bed and 2 sets of bunk beds. There is a futon in the living room. Microwave and service for 6 is provided. No linens or beach chairs are provided. Internet, cable, TV, and DVD are available. Nice deck on the front and back of the house providing an outstanding view of the beach and Biddeford Pool that empties and fills with the tide and beautiful sunsets. No pets, please.
