It had a great selection of chef's knives, good pots and pans, and utensils, making it a pleasure to cook meals together as a family. The presence of new high-end appliances further enhanced our culinary experience, and we appreciated the convenience and quality they offered. The back yard with its large patio was a favorite spot for our family. It provided ample space for everyone to relax and spend quality time together. Whether it was enjoying meals al fresco or simply lounging and taking in the surrounding views, the well-maintained patio area added to the overall charm of the rental. The location of the rental was another standout feature. Being close to the beaches, town, and farmers markets made it easy for us to explore the area and immerse ourselves in the local fun. We took advantage of the proximity to enjoy leisurely walks on the beach, visit the charming towns, and indulge in the fresh produce available at the farmers markets. The size of the house was perfect for our needs. This charming beach house is bright and airy, with two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a sleep loft with two twin beds. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated with new appliances. Our house is just steps away from Peconic Bay beach and a perfect base for exploring all the North Fork has to offer.

The outside deck is perfect for group dining, reading and sipping a glass of wine and well-lit even after the sun goes down. It has a propane grill and even has a heater for cool spring or autumn evenings. The deck overlooks an expansive front yard with ample space for games of bocce, croquet, wiffle ball or horseshoes. There is also an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.

The kitchen is well appointed, stocked with all the equipment and modern fixtures you need. The outside space is a highlight - a great deck for dining and lounging with beautiful lighting, plus expansive grassy space for the kids to run around for hours. It also has the added bonus of being a very short walk to a lovely private beach. It’s an especially good beach for young kids, with calm waters and a seemingly endless shallow area. Short drive to Love Lane and pretty much central to all parts of the North Fork. Highly recommend! Tim & Sophie deserve particular credit. There are two large decks to relax by the firepit and drink your wine from the local wineries. Bikes, kayak, and paddle board are stored in the barn for guests use. This home has everything you want in a rental. Enjoy the beauty of the North Fork in the newly renovated back yard w/water views and stunning sunsets. Cool off in the heated pool (open from May 14th until early October) with automated cover (for safety), patio w/dining for 10, lounge chairs and soft seating furniture. There is a gas BBQ and plenty of umbrellas for those who do not want direct sun. The yard also has waters edge seating, a fire pit and large lawn for playing. At the end of a day of swimming take a shower in the outdoor shower. Indoors this house is comfortably laid out and has plenty of room to relax with a fully stocked kitchen, dining room for 8-10 people, breakfast room overlooking the water, family room w/large sofa, TV and play space, powder room, and separated Living Room/Den w/queen size pull out sofa and doors for privacy (this room can serve as an extra bedroom to sleep 2). Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master suite has a queen bed and an en suite bathroom and sweeping views of James Creek. Bedroom #2 has a king bed and a crib. Bedroom #3 has 2 twin beds (one is a trundle) and Bedroom #4 has bunkbeds - double bed with twin on top. The basement was recently renovated w/new lighting, wall to wall carpet, and a foos ball and ping pong table. Its a great place to hang when you want a break from the sun with direct access to the backyard. We also have all amenities for young children including a crib, pack and play and high chair. The house comes with lots of toys and games and books for young children. Its only a 10 minute walk to a private local beach, or short drive to many of the beaches on both the north and south side of the fork. Our house is only a 3 minute drive to the LIRR and the Jitney stop in Mattituck as well as Mattituck Mall which has conveniences like restaurants, movie theater, wine store and super market. And dont forget the vineyards and breweries which are just a short drive away. We hope you love our home as much as we do!
