- "We were pleasantly impressed by this property. The functionality of the house was perfect. We hosted a family vacation, with multiple generations, seamlessly. 2 bedrooms on the main level were occupied by our eldest members of the family. The 4 bedrooms upstairs were spacious with plenty of room to host the rest of us. Late night shenanigans occurred in the basement with a competitive game of pool or even outside playing corn hole or ping pong. The open garage concept (the garage door opens to the backyard) was key! While sitting at the pool, you could quickly check on your laundry, use the bathroom or grab a drink from the second refrigerator. We had plenty of seating by the pool whether it was to lay in the sun or shade or to sit and eat a meal or read a newspaper. The pool was just the right size for the kids to jump around and have fun or to relax on a float and soak up the summer sun. The location of this house is on point. Everyday we walked a 1/2 mile to the private beach on Shinnecock Bay to feel the ocean breeze. Some of our guests went fishing or just relaxed in the sand. I spent my mornings at the local supermarkets which were close by so that I could get fresh food daily. Also, close by are bagel stores, liquor stores, a butcher, farm stand, beverage store, pizza, gas station and great restaurants. This is our 3rd summer renting in the Hamptons and we all agreed this was by far the best one. The house was equipped with Sonos speakers which was nice to be able to enjoy music outside by the pool, in the upstairs master when getting ready, in the kitchen/main level and in the basement. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, and hangers. Some bedrooms even had luggage racks. There were pool floats, beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, games, tools and all kinds of accessories that you could need. There was a gas fire pit that was fun to make s’mores at night and a Weber BBQ for cooking meals. The landscaping was beautiful and at times you felt like you were surrounded by velvet trees. The pool was serviced several times so we never had to worry about it. The garbage was picked up 2x a week which helped a lot since we had a lot of garbage. The landscaper came regularly as well and was quick and efficient. The owners were easy to communicate with and responsive to text and/or email. This house is a sure thing and won’t disappoint. We hope to be back again one day."

The weather wasn’t great for most of our time there, but we turned the tennis court into a pickleball court and between that, the pool table, pinball table and bikes we were never bored. Michael was the best host and was very responsive to any questions or concerns! The location of the house is great too. An easy 10-20 minute ride to all parts of the Hamptons. To sum it up my elderly mom stayed with us at the house and described it as magnificent! Thank you Michael!"

- "We stayed here for a week in June to attend the US Open at Shinnecock Hills, which is only about 15 minutes away. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We comfortably fit 4-6 adults and two children in the 5+ bedrooms and the 3 full baths made mornings very easy. The brand new kitchen was gorgeous; we loved cooking meals in the double wall oven or just hanging out sitting at the peninsula. The house had everything we needed - pots/pans, dishes, silverware, appliances, towels, toys for kids, everything you need for the beach, bikes, etc. We just had to show up and enjoy. Our favorite part of the house was the gigantic backyard chock full of amenities - the in-ground pool was particularly refreshing after a hot day out on the golf course; my kids absolutely loved the playground, trampoline and zip line; the hammock was truly relaxing in the late afternoons; and the outdoor shower was convenient after a day at the beach. Also spent several nights just hanging out on the lovely paver patio enjoying the stars and peaceful quiet night. The house is about two blocks away from a small private beach on the bay, which was perfect for my two young daughters. We didn't have to worry about big waves and currents. There's also a playground and swings there for them to enjoy as well. You can also take a short drive down to larger beaches on the ocean. We loved going into the little town of East Quogue, which is a very short drive from the house. We particularly enjoyed New Moon Café - TexMex with good food, drinks and atmosphere. We also ate at Cucina Italian Restaurant, family style Italian food that was amazing, as well as Dockers Waterside on Dune Road, which was a little more pricey, but the location on the water and the seafood were well worth it. There are many other attractions nearby within short driving distances - strawberry picking, shopping at Tanger outlets, multiple golf courses, etc. The owners of the house were absolutely fantastic. They made sure we had everything we needed and provided great recommendations and advice for enjoying our stay. We could not have asked for better hosts. Simply put, the house exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great and relaxing time on the Eastern end of Long Island to take advantage of this lovely property. We are certainly looking forward to staying here again in the future. "

Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund less a 20% penalty, calculated as 20% on the total reservation amount, will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. Payment/Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated on the property listing, all payments are non-refundable, however, should the guest elect to cancel its reservation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner of the property to reopen the dates of the reservation in attempt to re-book the property (please note the decision to reopen dates is the owners'). Should Marquis be successful in re-booking the property for the original dates at the same or higher price than the original reservation, a refund less a 20% penalty, calculated as 20% on the total reservation amount, will be issued to the guest once payment is collected in full for the new reservation. If a new reservation is not made, the guest may use the property for the dates of its original reservation so long as payments have been made in accordance with the payment schedule established at the time of booking and Marquis is notified in writing 72 hours or more prior to the start of the reservation.

Payment Method: Balance payments made with credit card are capped at $3,500. Payments over $3,500 shall be made by check, ACH or wire.

Security Deposit Disclaimer: Although rare, accidental damage does happen during a stay. In lieu of a security deposit, guests can rest easy knowing that this property is covered with up to $5,000 of damage protection. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.
