The room was good quality, with mirrors everywhere! Good bathroom and shower. Ideal for a one night stay close to Madrid airport, but don’t expect to see a member of staff. It felt a bit like being in solitary confinement or isolation!! The room was nice & the hotel functional, but it is on a trading estate, with nowhere really to walk to or see around it. "

Alcala has been part of my life since I lived only 4 blocks away for 3 years while stationed at Torrejon Air Base (1981-1985). This centrally-located apartment is an absolute treasure as are Miguel and Pili, the hosts. They again did everything possible to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Miguel was again there to greet us and insure our comfort. We just walked in, dropped our luggage, and knew we were home. In addition to all the creature comforts we could possibly have wanted, there were gifts of national beverage and treats. Located on the pedestrian-only Calle Mayor, just step out the front door and you are in the heart of all the city's wonderful energy. Having a fully-equipped kitchen, washing machine, air-conditioning and flat-screen TV on both the main floor and in the large bedroom loft, a complete dining area and living room, and a beautiful back terrazza, I can't think of anything else we could want for. Pili keeps the plants on the terrazza and the two front balconies that overlook the Calle Mayor in beautiful condition. Public parking is under the market just a short two blocks away. The daily charge varies according to the season. We had some special requests related to Ann's health. Our hosts went above and beyond to meet them. Entry into the chalet is autonomous, once inside the chalet guests will have three sets of keys. In case of loss or misplacement of keys there will be a financial penalty of €15 for each set of keys.

- "Lovely little apartment in the heart of Alcala de Henanes. Nicely furnished with all necessary amenities. The owner Felisa met us at the apartment, showed us where everything was and was kind enough to escort us to the free parking facility. Two issues we had was 1. no wifi and 2. the apartment is on the main street Calle Major and on Friday and Saturday nights it is really noisy, most of the night. Also please be aware that it is a 3rd floor walk-up. That was not a problem for us but might be for some. All in all it was an enjoyable experience. We would stay there again, next time we visit Alcala"
