- "Upon entering my room, i was surprised to find the window wide open and the stiff wind was blowing the curtains straight out and it was quite cold in the room. I closed the window and all was good until i turned on the television and the remote did not work. I had to manually change the channel on the direct tvbox. Then in the morning i went to take a shower and was surprised to find the faucet in the bathtub completely missing. So i had to bathe in the sink. So not the best experience. However, the hotel itself was quite nice, with a pool, lounge , bar, pool tables,and an arcade. It was also very clean. I wouldn't hesitant to stay again"

While THE TINY NEST is located at the back of the laundromat, we’ve made every effort to soundproof the space. Although minimal noise occasionally occurs, we found it quite manageable during our tester weekend stay. We want to ensure our guests know this possibility for a comfortable experience.

This cabin is nestled by the bridge across the river from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua on a paved road. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. The river view from this cabin is amazing.

The main/master bedroom has a full-sized bed, while the remaining loft area is furnished with two full-sized beds, comfortable for sleeping six people. The cozy living room is furnished with a reclining love seat and TV/DVD player and DISH Network! The kitchen is equipped with a full refrigerator and stove and a full table/benches for plenty of seating. Guests can enjoy an afternoon of fishing, sitting by the fire pit, or just relaxing while the sun goes down over the river.

- "Amazing property with so much property to explore. Had an amazing experience and the kids loved the farm house. Also had a ghostly experience at 7am where we woke up to the smell of fresh coffee and sausage being made only to go downstairs and find the kitchen quiet and empty lol. Definitely want to come back again!" - "On entering the house, it was very clean and perfect for our family. We had our kids (ages 8,9,10,12,12,15) with us and a surprise visit from our 20 year old! The property was fun for the kids to explore. They loved the little pond with all the giant frogs in it. They enjoyed riding the bikes down the hills and exploring the property. There were horses right down the driveway so that was fun surprise. Nicole, the care taker, was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was very kind and even gave us some extra time to get all of us packed and out the door on Sunday morning... (trying to get everyone dressed, showered, packed, etc is difficult with 9). The ONLY downfall I would say, was the shower. It was really tiny and being 5'4, I was feeling a little claustrophobic. My fiance is 6'9 and it was very difficult for him to shower. I do think that the listing might want to include the steep hill up to the house as well. We didn't mind it because we had great helpers to get everything in the house but if I had to carry 3 large coolers full, I would have been miserable. We're all in fairly good shape so it wasn't a problem at all, but it is quite the little hike up and down. Other than that, it was such a pleasant stay! We saw LOTS of wildlife and really enjoyed the fire pit area at night! Thanks, for a nice little get away!"

This is right on the waterfront, with a beatlutiful unobstructed view from the bench on the river edge. The view from the deck is only framed by some trees and is just and great. The deck itself is such a plus, enough space to spread out and enjoy the weather, even if its raining- the porch was perfect for sitting and watching a storm roll in and out. The kitchen has probably every utensil you could think of needing, as well as cookware -and a full size fridge with freezer to keep your goods fresh. Microwave, and stove inside and a great blackstone outside available to use. There is even a coffee machine and the hosts are gracious enough to pre stock some essentials for your first morning. The bathroom has a walk in shower with great pressure and plenty of towels. This was by far one of my favorite places to stay!"

Situated on just over 11 acres in Historic Van Buren County this 3 bedroom 2 bath renovated home has just what the doctor ordered. Located just a 10th of a mile on Hwy 15 between Memphis Mo. and Milton Ia offers a private 3+ acre pond stocked with Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Walleye, Catfish and in the spring Rainbow Trout. In the last 3 years we have added 1400 Crappie, 600 Bass, 1500 Bluegill, 300 Catfish and 300 Rainbow Trout. We also added two pellet fish feeders that go off twice a day to maximize fish size. If fishing isn't for you take in the views from the sand beach or even possibly shoot a game of pool on a brand new Brunswick pool table, abundant parking to accommodate any types of vehicle's and larger groups.
