Our private home is basically new and restored to be a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Perfect for small families and couples. Everything is open which is great for entertaining and just enjoying the openness of the place. The kitchen has all GE Profile appliances with granite counter tops and a wonderful kitchen island with four stools to sit around while visiting or preparing meals. The stove is a gas six burner with a griddle in the middle. The home even has a small air fryer and two coffee pots (both regular and Kuerig) The floors are all hardwood except for the master bathroom which is marble.
The dining room sits eight comfortably and has two leaves to add for more room. The home has two seating areas, one with comfortable armless chairs and the other with a large comfy sectional and two other comfortable chairs. That room has a large Smart 65” Smart Samsung tv. Off that room is a half bath. The master bath has a marble floor and next to that is a closet with full size washer & dryer. The master bedroom has a king size memory topped gel mattress and a 43” Smart tv. The guest bedroom has a day bed with a trundle and a twin (xl) bed with another memory gel topped mattress. The home is a true ranch home with no stairs getting in or out.

We also have an amazing cute screened in porch with an outdoor patio with patio table and chairs and fire pit. Plus a weber grill for grilling out your favorite meals.

Our home has fast fiber internet to allow you to watch your favorite tv shows and or work from home with a desk.

Since I love to cook, the house has all kinds of small appliances (two types of coffee makers-regular & Keurig plus a small air fryer) and cooking utensils. The TV is a Smart TV with an antenna, connected to high-speed internet, Roku, and DVR. It includes all local channels and allows for recording and access to popular streaming apps like Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon.

We thoroughly clean and sanitize all bedding, including quilts and mattress protectors, between guests. For a contactless check-in process, we provide a smart lock with a unique code for each guest.

Our home is just a short 5-minute drive from the highway, making it convenient for guests traveling to downtown or the Plaza area. It is also within 1.5 miles from Advent Health Hospital and 8 miles from KU Medical Center. Sports fans will appreciate that we are only 19 miles from Arrowhead Stadium (Go Chiefs!) and Kauffman Stadium.

We are experienced superhosts and take pride in ensuring that this property is just as comfortable and enjoyable as our other three properties in Johnson County and one in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Many of our guests return and even reach out to inquire about the availability of our other properties for their next stay.

Please note that for safety purposes, we have a ring doorbell at the front door, but we do not use it to monitor our guests. We only use it if we have concerns about the condition of the house after a guest's stay.

The joke around KC is that everything is roughly 20 minutes away. For Fairway, much of that is even shorter. We were in town for Taylor Swift, so if you were to stay here for a Chiefs or a royals game you can easily get to the stadium in under 25 minutes. Shopping at the plaza is a quick trip, as is your trip to Overland Park or Leawood. My family of 4 felt super comfortable, safe, and happy while staying at this beautiful home. The owners are attentive and you can tell they treat this home as if they lived there everyday. There are multiple gifts inside the home for guests, but you will have to wait and see what they are for yourself. We will 100% be coming back again when we visit our KC family again later in the year."

One of our favorite things about our home besides being such a cute bungalow is we are only across the street about half block from Grandstand Burgers. It's a good old fashion burger joint that you order online or at the counter. People come from all over. On nice days, you see people eating on picnic tables outside. And lucky you, you can pick up and take home easily.

We own three other VRBO's in KC and we are rated as premier partners. Our other VRBO numbers are 797896, 2066285 and 970746. We also own another one on the beach in Ft Walton Beach, FL on Okaloosa Island.

- "This property was great for our family. Kept the adults and children spending time together with the many activities this place had to offer. It was a little chilly while we were there so we didn't spend much time outside playing putt-putt but it was fun. The pool table and games downstairs was a huge hit!! Place was just as described online and very clean!! We could of used a few more towels after all taking showers but that's why there is a washer/dryer!! We will definitely be back in the future!!"

You will find everything you need neatly arranged behind a door or a cabinet, so feel free to snoop around and get acquainted with the place.
The Wi-Fi password is posted in the living room and easily noticeable.
Adjust the thermostat to your comfort level upon arrival. You can find the thermostat on the wall near the bedroom.

Upon departure:
*Please leave soiled towels on the floor of the bathroom.
*Please run the dishwasher with the last of the dishes that need to be cleaned.
*No need to strip the sheets off the bed. If a sofa sleeper was used, please place used sheets/blanket on the floor next to the sofa.

~No parties, events, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette stays, get-togethers, hangouts and the like.
~Do not have more guests (regardless of age) than stated in your reservation and we do not allow visitors. Any overnight guests not on the reservation will be considered an additional guest for the reservation and will result in an additional guest fee (listed below).
~No loud music or disturbances, especially noise past 10pm.
