A car is recommended to get to some Downtown KC attractions. Access to the highway is easy. Uber and Lyft are also very great options and easily available.

A short walk to downtown and their neat little shops and cafes and restaurants (Try A Thyme for Everything and their Christopher Elbow fine chocolates. Just incredible.) Only a mile from an incredible park and high school for Pickleball, Tennis, and entertaining a niece. A short drive from the Rock Island Trail for the bikers. The house has character, is lovingly kept, and loves back. The AC more than adequately cut thru the brutal Missouri heat. The sunlight streams in, lighting up the whole house. The drapes in the bedrooms are more than enough to keep the morning-resistant in bed until the morning-enabled are done exploring the downtown. Very comfortable inside, very comfortable outside on the patio. We enjoyed our stay here. It is much better, much more personable and cozy, than staying in a hotel. This is family oriented, private, beautiful brick home located three blocks from historic 3rd Street and 291 highway. Two bedrooms (king size bed, double bed, two twin beds) and two (full and 3/4) bathrooms are on the main floor. Patio room has a futon sofa. The additional floor includes two bedrooms (double and twin bed) and a full bathroom (when included) but is an EXTRA booking..

The kitchen is fully furnished and ideal for family dinners and events.

Getting Around:
The neighborhood is walkable. Most other areas require a short drive. Uber/Lyft is also very accessible. Easy to get to major roads and highways for day trips, etc. Our home is only minutes away from local attractions.

★ The building is a duplex on a corner lot (no neighbors on the left) with the 2nd unit of the duplex (on the right) occupied. This home has a fully fenced backyard and separated from the other duplex. The entry and exit doors are not connected at all and they do not share the same heating, cooling and ventilation system.
★★ We do not accept/receive mails at the home. If you need to receive mail, you can set up a P.O. Box at the post office (the post office is less than 5mins drive)

- "Host was very responsive to our needs." - "Perfect for weeklong stay for family wedding. Just a few small idiosyncrasies that were off - batteries were missing or at the end of their life, light bulbs burned out, towel bar ripped out of wall in MB, no Laundry detergent. Just small things-no big deal. Otherwise, great location and great communication from host!! "

Open loft space converted to a rustic loft apartment with a cabin feel! A double bed, two twin beds, TV, Internet, Wifi, sitting area, desk and private shower. Shared half bath with a meeting space named the "Rustic Room" that has a mini kitchen area. Stairs with two balconies. Dogs onsite often being trained on the 40 acres.

This is a rustic space located on 40 acres. Sheets and towels provided. Very unique, cozy and private. All rules and guidelines for Camp Claircrest.

- "When we booked this stay, we expected a small room. When we arrived at this location, not only did we not have direct access to the loft (you have to walk through the dog training business area to access the loft), but the air conditioning was insufficient for the summer and the "mini kitchen" was nothing more than a mini fridge and microwave. I was sweating like I was in a sauna. The "rustic cabin" is not much more than a covered attic. At our time of looking at the property, there was no cable for the TV. The couch shown in the pictures was replaced with a single recliner and bean bags. This place just was not what we expected and was not acceptable to be leasing out. After communicating with the property owner and discussing our issues, she was only willing to refund us 2 of 7 nights reserved. We left 1 hour after arriving due to the conditions, but she did not open the reservation for possible new customers even though VRBO assured me she could. Additionally, VRBO has no negotiating power in any disputes (they can only pass a message), so this will be the last time we use this service. I do not recommend this property unless you are possibly there in the winter and looking for basic accommodations."
