With hundreds of sheep, friendly pigs , chickens, turkeys, working border collies, horses, and honeybees, there is always something interesting going on. You'll stay in The Loft, a cozy guesthouse with 4 beds on the second floor: one bunk bed, one twin, and one double. Your visit is very private and personal, because we host only one group at a time. We are in the country, but grocery stores and amenities are just 10 minutes away. Explore our woods and fields, curl up with a good book by the pond, watch the antics of the flock. Take a sunset walk up Turkey Hill, a favorite spot for deer and yes, turkeys. We'll let you know what farm activities are planned during your stay, and you are welcome to observe or participate as you wish. Families welcome: for safety's sake, children must be supervised at all times. There are many other guest attractions in the region, such as Knoebel's Amusement Park, Clyde Peelings Reptile Museum, and Tobias Wild Animal Park. The large center island holds the hibachi grill which is perfect for cooking up stir-fry or grilled sandwiches for dinner and pancakes for breakfast. Enjoy the forest and meadow views from the large dining room table (seating for 12) and be on the lookout for deer grazing in the yard out front. In the warmer months enjoy the patio area, lawn games, hot tub, fire pit, and pool (can be heated upon request). The pool is open from the middle of May- end of September. Hot tub is open year round.

1. Pet Policy. This home is not pet friendly. Because of the size of the home and in order to be able to host our guests with allergies this is non-negotiable no matter the size or whether your pet is classified as hypo-allergenic. NO exceptions. PLEASE NOTE: If there is an unauthorized pet in the home your reservation will be terminated immediately and there will be an additional $500 automatic charge.

2. No Smoking. Again if there are signs of smoking throughout the property you will be charged $200/day.

3. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours for the property are between 10PM and 8AM; please keep the noise down over this time- especially outdoors.

This cozy one bedroom sits in the middle of over 30 private acres just waiting to be explored. Bring the mountain bikes for some off-trail riding, cozy up on the sun-porch and watch wildlife from the sunroom or sit around the fire after a long day. The cottage is quaint yet spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, bath, and laundry area. Close to Knoebels, Geisinger Medical Center, Montour Preserve and a plethora of hiking and biking trails. 4WD/AWD is required for access during inclement weather and recommended all year round, as the gravel driveway is 0.5 miles up the mountain. In the event of severe weather/ice on driveway in winter months, reservation may be cancelled due to safety concerns. Likewise, guests have the option of making a real adventure of it and "hiking in", as a lower parking area exists.

- "Our visit to Coyote Cabin was excellent! It was clean, cool, and peaceful. The surrounding woods were stunning. You really felt like you were deep in the forest. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. We would absolutely go there again!" - "My husband and I had a fantastic time staying at Coyote Cottage. We really just wanted to get a way to a simple spot in the woods and this place is perfect. Cozy inside, lots of amenities, the outdoor grill was perfect, and the hosts really provided a lot of little items that make the stay easy and enjoyable. We build a campfire in the fire pit and just chilled most of our time there. There is a town nearby with plenty to do but we really just stayed on the property and enjoyed our quiet time. We will be back and could see this being a great place to bring a family any time of year. Definitely a place to drive to in your Jeep or 4wd vehicle, the driveway is very private and somewhat hidden, but made for great privacy and adventure."

Sunflower Manor is perfect for group gatherings! There are five spacious bedrooms, each with a private full bathroom. All bedrooms have a working space, blackout curtains, and linens provided. Extensive common areas include a parlor, dining table that seats ten, pool table, sunroom, sunroom, yoga studio, and an equipped chef's kitchen. The house features classic Victorian architecture including high ceilings and charming detail work including custom designed stained glass windows.
