- "I stopped one night in Williamsport as part of a longer trip and noticed the City Hall Grand Hotel online. I LOVE unique hotels and so decided to give it a try. End result: Whenever I'm back in town, this is where I'll stay. It's probably not for everyone, especially if you like on-site staff and over-the-top amenities. But if you like simple quiet and comfortable pleasure, as I do, you'd love this place. They sent me an entry code before I arrived and once I'd figured out which door to enter, I was in love. Rode up the small elevator to the third floor, where there was a HUGE commons area with coffee and other snacks. Since it was a Tuesday, there weren't many other people there, which made it even more quiet and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the television had all the channels anyone could want (and was easy to figure out), and the shower was a dream. The restaurant is not open on Tuesdays, but it's an easy 800-foot walk to downtown restaurants, including my favorite, the Bullfrog Brewery. Parking was free and easily accessible. "
