We have a front yard that’s great for horseshoes, volleyball, and whatever other yard sport you may have brought.

Things to Know:
• Kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, appliances, coffee, tea, and basic spices. (Keurig and drip coffee maker are provided.)
•We are dog-friendly (fees do apply)- Our two pups (Oliver and Willow) are happy to share their bowls (located under the kitchen sink) and rope toys.
• We are located in a rural area, surrounded by trees, but we do have neighbors. Please be respectful.
• Children are welcome! Please note that the house is not fully childproofed. We do have plug covers in the loft area, but not in the rest of the house and there are no child locks on cabinets, doors, windows, etc.
• A baby gate and a pack-n-play are available.
• The loft bedroom is only accessible via ladder and is not ideal for toddlers as they will want to climb the ladder (my 1-year-old nephew is the reason for this note) and we do not have a way to block it off.
•A desk area is available. It is complete with a desk, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and HDMI cables. Please leave the space as you found it. If office equipment is missing you will be charged.
• There is an exterior camera pointed towards the driveway.
• There is no smoking permitted inside the cabin or on the porch. Please keep smoking to a minimum of 10' from the cabin and please do not dispose of any butts on the property or in the woods. You will be charged $1,000 for violations of smoking inside the cabin.

The Cottage is constructed with a condo-like feel. Your comfort is ensured with in-floor radiant heat, cosy gas fireplace and air conditioning. A kitchen with a cook top, refrigerator, microwave and a sink is provided for your convenience. Silverware dishes pots and pans etc are provided. The Cottage has a two person whirlpool tub tucked into the master suite. The Cottage is by several steps from the parking area.

During the winter months we recommend a four wheel drive to manage our driveway. We do get it plowed and sanded but it is on a hill.

Wonderful private home on 2 acres located on tip of peninsula on Norway Lake. Huge back yard, great views, swimming and fishing. Quiet peaceful end of lake. Enjoy the tall pines and open backyard area. Full kitchen, 2 baths, washer and dryer and living area is great room with kitchen, dining room and living room combined. Can sleep at least 10 comfortably. Sunroom available for sleeping with futon. Dogs permitted with approval. This is a NON smoking property

New dock was a great place to sit and relax watching fishing boats, pontoon boats and Loons float by. Interior of the home was updated, clean and comfortable. The Cottage is constructed with a condo-like feel. The Cottage has wider doorways and large bathroom to accommodate less mobile guests. The toilet offers wheelchair access with wider door and no under sink cabinet.
Your comfort is ensured with in-floor radiant heat, cosy electric fireplace and air conditioning (seasonal). A kitchen with a cook top, refrigerator, microwave and a sink is provided for your convenience. Silverware dishes pots and pans etc are provided. There is a twin pull down situated in the master bedroom for children.
We allow dogs in this Cottage with extra charge for additional cleaning. If you could inform us if bringing a dog pre-arrival.

During the winter months we recommend a four wheel drive to manage our driveway. We do get it plowed and sanded but it is on a hill.

This cabin is a two bedroom full log cabin sitting within 40 feet of a crystal clear lake. There is a small sand beach directly in front of the cabin which leads you to a swimming area that has a gradual access to the water. There is a rustic stone fire pit within feet of the lake to sit and watch the moon rise over the lake. For early rises the cabin looks directly to the East for gorgeous sunrises. The cabin has one queen bed, two twin beds and a queen futon in the living room. The kitchen has all your basic needs for preparing meals and there is a charcoal grill just outside the back door. The cabin is only 5 miles from downtown Norway, 1 hour to the Maine coast , Portland , and North Conway Hew Hampshire.
The Oxford Hills region has lots of hiking, antiquing and beautiful scenery. We provide canoes, kayaks and row boats free of charge and the small mouth bass fishing is great. A pair of loons return every year to entertain and frequently have a baby in June.
We do allow well behaved dogs foe a fee.

- "If you like log cabins on water and in the woods, this is the place to be. My 13 1/2 yr old Lab loved the easy access to the water! I will definitely be back!" - "We had a relaxing time on our vacation in Norway. The cabin was rustic but provided everything we needed. The location was gorgeous! And private but still close enough to town for whatever you needed or wanted (fun little shops and some restaurants). We saw a family of loons, a heron, and other wildlife. It was wonderful to sit on the covered porch, read, drink coffee, and watch the lake and wildlife. The owners, Steve and Jeanne, were super communicative and helpful (thank you for the restaurant recommendations) and their son was great, lending us some lanterns when we lost power for a bit during a wind storm (typical Maine!). The only downside was our cell signal was extremely low to nothing and there’s no Wi-Fi. Worrisome a little if we had an emergency because we couldn’t call anyone (thank goodness we didn’t) and we had to go into town to download books on our Kindles, etc (inconvenient). But other than that, it was a great time and we hope to go back again!"
