Welcome to our magical mountain retreat! Our home is ready to serve up some of the most peaceful and breathtaking sunsets of your life! Enjoy the space to roam as the home sits on 2 acres and is adjacent to Beltzville State Park. There are plenty of hiking trails, skiing, and boating within minutes. The home has 4 large bedrooms as well a small room with a twin bed. The basement has pool and ping pong tables, Pop-a-shot basketball, and arcade games (Pac Man and Mortal Combat).
The space
Living room has a two-story wood burning fireplace. There are two large sofas and 2 chairs.

Dining room has a large table that can seat 10 plus another high-top table that seats 2.

Kitchen will have everything you need from a waffle maker and electric griddle to service wear.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with attached bath. The master bath has a jetted tub and stall shower.

The upstairs has 3 bedrooms plus a bonus room. Bedroom 2 is a king, bedroom 3 has a queen. Bedroom 4 has a queen and a twin with a trundle. The bonus room is a twin daybed/trundle perfect for a kid or two.

All bedrooms and living rooms have TVs. We are cable free (antenna only plus apps) so feel free to sign in to your favorite app and get watching on any of the smart TVs throughout the home.

For entertainment, the kids and adults can hang in the basement and shoot pool, play ping pong, or Pop-a-shot. Arcade games are available too! We have mortal combat and pac man.

Guests will have free reign of the home with the exception of the garage space and one locked owners closet in the master bedroom.
Other things to note: Lehighton has so much to do within short drives. It’s the perfect spot for your pocono getaway!

Beltsville lake has a free beach about 10 minutes away from our home. They have a snack bar and sandy swim area. Bring a chair and enjoy. The weekends are always packed so best to do this during the week. There is also lake access from our side of the lake but it is a hike back up to the house. It takes about 20 minutes from our door to the lake walking.

Blue Mountain is 20 minutes away for all your skiing needs!

Jim Thorpe is a must do! They have great restaurants, shopping, and a historic train. If you are looking for adult fun, grab an uber and try their pub crawl trolley or wine and shine trolley!

In summer, there is river tubing, mountain biking and rafting all about 15 minutes from our house. Services can take you to a drop off location and let you either float or ride back to the starting point.

Hideaway hills public golf course is about 10 minutes away if you are looking to get on the green.

The Valley Lodge of Blue Mountain Ski Resort is just 2 miles away, making for mountain biking, festivals and events and those attending weddings.

Sports Court for Pickleball, Basketball and outdoor fun was upgraded in 2023. The court offers a beautiful setting for your competitive side (net paddles and balls provided). Two new couches in living room, bigger TV and new sofa bed in the basement were also added in 2023. In 2024 we're adding a Tesla Charger and more trails and a remote picnic grove.

House comfortably sleeps 8 people (2 queens, 2 full and a pullout queen in the basement.) Crib and high chair are provided. Dog door onto the deck lets dogs run in and out if you'd like, you can block them from leaving the deck.

You can also rent bikes in Jim Thorpe or Lehighton to ride along the D&L Trail (next to the river). Beltzville Lake State Park has a nice beach and a marina to rent boats. Lake View Lodge is a beautiful log house overlooking Beltzville Lake and State Game Lands in the Southern Poconos.
Situated on a large private lot the lodge has 8 bedrooms, 7 baths and sleeps 20! Great for large groups, with plenty of space to be together and to have privacy. Many summer and winter activities in the area. Gorgeous views and access to the lake, with kayaks to use; big parking lot and a basketball hoop; fire pit and large porch with a gas grill.
Each of the bedrooms has a balcony/deck, fireplace, Cable TV, and some with DVD players. Six of the bedrooms have a private full bathroom, and the other two bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub.
The entire first floor is wheel chair accessible, with one of the bedrooms and bathrooms equipped with specialized wheel chair friendly features.
The focal point of the great room/dining room area is a 26-foot double-sided stone fireplace. The great room is fully furnished with comfortable seating, and the dining room is furnished with a dining table and chairs able to seat 20+ people.

Even though the house was great, my favorite part was the outside. The owner had a fire pit for our use, and cornhole, and we had a cookout with the gas grill that was provided. We have only one tent site that is far from any neighbors on a 100+ acre private forest. We do a no-touch, distancing welcome at your vehicle, we completely disinfect the tent and furniture before every new arrival. You should bring your own bedding or sleeping bags. Our ventilation system is the GREAT outdoors. We have adjusted our check-out time to 10:30 am to give us plenty of time for the site cleaning. We now provide extra water and toilet paper. We will not allow any two-legged visitors near the site and you are asked not to allow any other people to visit you without being first registered by Tentrr. Schedule a leisurely guided nature walk with the Campkeepers as an extra or explore many trails on your own. We have 100-plus private acres. The Space:
Immerse yourself in forest seclusion on a mountainside of Oak & Maple trees. Completely private. No other camp sites.

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.

Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Checkin timespan - 2 to 9 pm. we need advance notification of the approx time.
Checkout anytime before 10:30 am - Later must have our permission.
Quiet must be maintained.

No fires except at the campsite fire pit. Due to Spotted Lanternfly Restrictions, firewood may not be brought to the campsite from outside this county. No fires when the campsite is not occupied. For forest fire safety -No Tiki Torches. No fireworks. No guns of any kind. No bow hunting equipment. No gasoline generators. No ATVs or powered Dirt Bikes.

Trees and other natural habitat may not be damaged or altered in any way.

Can't wait to stay again!" - "The place is totally isolated and rustic, is not a campground. There’s no electricity or running water, but they gave us three full drinking water tanks. The tent is comfortable, it has a queen size bunk bed with inflatable mattresses. The toilet is inside the tent. It can be moved outside, but it has to sleep inside since is wooden. The “shower” is actually a water bag that has to be warmed by the sun or add some heated water. The road to get to the tent is very rough, but we made it very slow with our Honda Odyssey. The owners are very helpful and friendly, they are there for whatever you need. Since it supposed to be cold at night the owners gave us a stove to heat the tent up (didn’t need to use it, but still was very nice from them)"

Welcome to our beautiful home on a partly wooded 1-acre lot with a large backyard. Our tastefully decorated, clean, modern house will be perfect for spending time with your family and friends to create long-lasting memories. The home is ideal for spring, summer, or fall getaways. We hope you come and stay to experience everything the area and our house have to offer.
The space
The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. A large living room includes a wet bar area with seating and a beverage refrigerator. A 4 season room is off to the side as well for the kids to relax and play games. We have a large dining room/kitchen area with plenty of room and seating to cook and entertain at the same time. The home is less than 3 miles from Blue Mountain Resort to enjoy mountain biking, hiking, disc golf, ropes courses, restaurants, and more. The house is only 20 minutes from the Historic town of Jim Thorpe for plenty of unique shops, train ride, rafting down the Lehigh river and more hiking and biking. Only 15 minutes to Beltzville State park for more hiking, power boating, kayaking, SUPing, fishing, and swimming. The town of Palmerton is only 10 min away for great food, shopping, and activities as well. Book with us and start to relax here at the Snurfer House.

Most bedrooms in the home have their own sliding glass door to enjoy the decks - and the sun sets in the back over the valley / lake, so you get to enjoy a beautiful sunset each night of your stay. The home was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The bedrooms, bathrooms, linens / towels, furniture - were all clean and fresh and high quality. The hot tub, grill, firepit - were all clean and actually worked! The main living area floor is an open floor plan, which is nice for large groups who are hanging out. I could go on and on. Main Floor: This spacious 3,000 sq. ft. home welcomes you through the front entrance, leading to three inviting bedrooms, each with its own private deck entrance for a serene retreat in nature.

Master bedroom #1 boasts a TV, a king-size bed, and a private bathroom entrance. Master bedroom #2 features a queen-size bed and a private bathroom entrance. Bedroom #3 offers a queen-size bed and twin-size bunk beds.

Upper Floor: Enjoy the main living room, dining area, kitchen, office room, half-bathroom, entrance to the loft (accessible via wooden stairs next to the fireplace), and sliding doors leading to the top-level deck, complete with a Weber BBQ Grill (propane included) and two outdoor seating areas.

Downstairs: Find bedroom #4 with a queen-size bed and bedroom #5 with bunk beds (twin on top and full-size bed on the bottom with a pull-out trundle bed for extra space). The second living room includes a TV, a sectional couch, and a foosball table. A full bathroom and sliding door entrance lead to the lower-level deck, providing access to the swinging chairs, hot tub, firepit area, outdoor stairs, and garden.

Our home is nestled by Beltzville Lake and State Park. Did you know that Beltzville Lake is protected by the Pa Wildlife Association? This means there are no true lakefront homes on Beltzville Lake, and we are the first layer of homes on the border!

Fishing enthusiasts will be delighted to know that Beltzville Lake is stocked with warm-water and cold-water game fish and panfish, including Trout, Striped bass, Largemouth and smallmouth bass, Walleye, Muskellunge, Perch, and more. Below the dam, Pohopoco Creek is designated as a Class A Wild Trout Stream by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.
