Guests enter Going Coastal by entering the front door in the carport area of the home and taking the stairs to the first floor of this elevated home. On the first floor, you will find four of the home's five bedrooms -- each with their own private bathroom -- and a den with queen sized sleeper sofa. You may access the covered deck off the first floor of the home from the den and two of the first floor bedrooms. On the second floor, you'll find the home's large living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a half bath tucked away behind the kitchen. The home's master suite is located just off of the living room. Best of all, the screened porch stretches alongside the entire width of the back of the home and has stunning views of the lagoon below. A stairwell on the second-level screened deck takes you to the home's observation deck, which features sweeping views of the lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean.

Pelican Reach, with its own pool, is less than a five-minute walk to the water's edge. This neighborhood is known for it's nice quiet wide streets.

Built in the traditional beach style, a flight of stairs takes you to the lower-level porch. This is where the kids will go to escape the adults, who will surely have commandeered the upstairs porch. The front door opens to the lower-level bedrooms. The master has a King-size bed, with new mattress, designer bedding, a private bath, and opens to the shady screened rear porch (complete with several rocking chairs - perfect for a quiet get away) The other two downstairs rooms (one with a queen bed, the other with 2 twin beds) are also furnished with new mattresses and share a bath. One of these bedrooms opens to that same shady screened porch.

Taking the stairs to the upper level, you are immediately struck by the windows, the light, and all the fantastic views. The open living area features a dining table for eight, a seating area for TV viewing (with a queen-size sleeper sofa), a game table, and a reading nook. The darling kitchen comes complete with everything needed by the chef, whether you are feeding your family or entertaining friends. A bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath complete the upper level. Except for the porch.

The high, airy porch gives you a bird's eye view of Wild Dunes. By night the sounds of waves crashing on the shore soothe even the most frayed of nerves, but the sunrises are particularly spectacular! This large, screened porch features a wicker pub table with four chairs and a comfortable lounging area with wicker loveseat and rockers - all decorated with high-end designer outdoor fabrics. It will be hard to leave this wonderful space!

Upon entering the home, you'll find the home's light & airy great room with an open floor plan layout between the living room, dining room family room and kitchen areas. Take the stairs to the second floor and you'll find the home's master suite, the double bunk bedroom and the triple twin bedroom -- all of these bedrooms have their own private bathrooms. Welcome to The Pelican House, located in the luxurious gated resort community of Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms, SC. Here you will find the peace and relaxation you've been yearning for. In 2023, this house was torn down and rebuilt to almost 3,000 square feet with all new amenities, new appliances, furniture and décor. The first floor features an expanded floor plan with an open kitchen featuring new Bertazzoni appliances, Bosch induction stovetop, a large kitchen table that seats 8, an island with sink that seats 3 and a coffee station. An open living room with sectional sofa leads to a large primary bedroom en-suite with a Sleep Number King Bed, 55” SmartTV, oversized walk-in shower, jacuzzi-like tub, and custom walk-in closet. A private Captain’s Lounge with wet bar, SmartTV, Sonos SoundBar and an electric fireplace overlooks the Pelican Bay lagoon. The mudroom offers laundry and storage space. All this, plus a covered porch with Adirondack chairs provides southern charm over-looking our giant Southern Magnolia tree.

The second floor provides 3 spacious bedrooms, a bonus surf loft area with a 75” LED SmartTV, and an office space also with 55" SmartTV and SONOS sound bar -- Perfect for remote workers and studying. There is a Jack-n-Jill full bathroom attached to the secondary king bedroom (with a Sleep Number Mattress) en-suite and office, and there is a shared bath with tub situated between a queen bedroom and another bedroom with two full beds. A secondary laundry area is also provided. Upstairs you will also find a porch with 2 Adirondack Chairs that makes this home even more comfortable for that relaxing vacation you've been dreaming about.
