The outdoor space has recently been updated and includes new turf, patio tables and chairs, a picnic table, charcoal BBQ grill and string lights. It's a great place for a cookout or just time outdoors in the refreshing mountain air.

The home is also wheelchair-friendly. It is one-level with no steps at the front door or back door.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR PET POLICY.....READ THIS IF YOU HAVE A DOG. Due to a stay of an irresponsible pet owner who's pet destroyed two furniture items we have adopted the following pet policy.

The only pets allowed are dogs 80 lb maximum.
Please refrain from allowing your dog on the furniture. A DOG MUST NEVER BE LEFT ALONE UNLESS IT IS CRATED. There are no exceptions to the crate policy, so please do not ask. We have a large size crate for your use free...just bring a dog blanket to put in it.

We charge a one-time $30 pet fee which covers the extra time it takes to clean after a pet stay.

Pine Valley Lodge is a beautiful 2.5 acre mountain retreat in Pine Valley, Utah - just 35 minutes from St. George. With sleeping room for up to 56 people in beds, it’s a perfect escape for family reunions, corporate get-a-ways and simple retreats in the solitude of the ponderosa pines.

The Lodge
The Lodge itself features 5 private bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The Lodge includes a great room, oversized kitchen/dining area, laundry room, and game room. In the Lodge there are also two common bathrooms on the main floor next to the great room. The Kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, two stoves, two ovens, two microwaves, two dishwashers and a full set of pots, pans, utensils and kitchen items. The pantry has an oversized freezer and oversized fridge for storing all of your supplies, the patio has BBQ Grill, and there is a main floor laundry room. The Lodge is equipped with air conditioning and heating and WiFi. There is also one additional bathroom with two showers that has an outside entrance for cabin guests.

The Cabins
Next to the Lodge, there are seven rustic cabins with electricity, water and beds so there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy! Each cabin has a mini fridge and microwave along with air conditioning, heaters and ceiling fans. The cabins share 3 oversized common bathrooms with showers.

The Roost
The property also has a separate building we call "The Roost". The Roost features an upstairs, 1 bedroom studio apartment with a full kitchen, living room, bathroom and washer/dryer. On the ground floor of "The Roost" is a separate bedroom that has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top. The main floor of the Roost also as a Game Room with ping pong, air hockey and other games. Two shared bathrooms with showers are located on the main floor of the Roost for guests to use. The Roost is equipped with air conditioning and heating.

Your group will love the a big fire pit for roasting marshmallows and campfire activities. There is a children's play set with swings, slides, climbing features, etc. and plenty of outdoor fun including horseshoe pits, a basketball hoop, and a beautiful lawn for volleyball, croquet or just soaking in the cool mountain air.

When you don’t feel like cooking, delicious dining is available across the street at the Brandin’ Iron Steakhouse. Catering is also available.

The full property rents as one unit, so all facilities are included in the prices quoted. This includes "The Lodge", "The 7 Cabins", and "The Roost".

If the full property has not been reserved/rented 14 days prior to the desired check-in date, guests may request to rent individual units separately (ie: just "The Lodge", or just "The Roost", or individual cabins.) Requests for renting individual units are only available within 14 days of the desired check-in date by contacting the owner directly at the Brandin Iron Steakhouse.

Washington County just passed an ordinance banning most short term rentals. To be legal we have to rent on a long term basis; 30 days or longer; but we will do this by only allowing one rental per month, this will need to be a 4 day minimun. They are concerned about large groups, load noise, parties, kids flying around on off road vehicles, etc. No more than 7 vehicles, all must be parked in front of the house, none on the road. No large fires in the fire pit, and sometimes in the summer they don't allow any fires at all. No campers or camp trailers. This home has two master suites each with king beds. Three other large bedrooms with king beds. One large bedroom with four bunks; 8 beds. And one bunkbed in the loft area. The couch has a hide a bed, queen size but it's not made up, if you use it you need to make it up and stripe it when you leave, put the sheets in the laundry room and fold and put away the quilts. This cabin offers a spacious chef's kitchen which opens up in to the great room. Fire place, grill and outdoor fire pit. Patio and second story deck. Full Laundry. Easily sleeps 22. Forest service in backyard. Fishing and hiking within minutes of the cabin. Great for large families. This is a great space to rent by the night, weekend, or by the month.10 minutes from the St. George Marathon starting line. If you intend on renting please give us a description of your group. No smoking in the home, alcohol in moderation.

There are plenty of hiking trails and picnic spots. The Pine Valley Recreation Area (small entrance fee) has fishing (but no boating) in the Pine Valley Reservoir. The popular Whipple Trail Hike takes you high above the valley with summer views of wild flowers along the way.

- "We had 23 people ranging from 8 months to 65 years old. The three units were great for the amount of people we had. Each unit was well stocked with needed kitchen utensils and bath towels. The indoor and outdoor pool were clean and helped to keep us cool in the summer heat. The host responded quickly to questions and offered many times help if needed" - "Having the 3 units on the same floor was really great for our extended family to have some separateness, but still be able to just go right next door to visit/hang out. There were a couple of snags with getting into the units the first night, but the onsite team was quick to remedy the situation, which we appreciated very much. There were some issues with the functionality and upkeep of the units, but nothing we couldn't live with. There were several minor things that were not up to what I would have expected from the high reviews, like the couch arms being in disrepair, and the fridge drawer being duct taped, for example. The communication overall was confusing and cumbersome, and in the end, pretty disappointing. There was a discrepancy between the Rental Agreement I signed and the one they said they had a copy of, and it resulted in us paying much more than we felt was reasonable to have an item returned to us that we left in one of the units. Overall, I still give it 4 stars because it was overall a pleasant vacation, but the communication issue leaves something to be desired."

Our retreat in the mountains is a single-family, open-concept home with plenty of parking on a 1/2 acre. There are tall pine trees and fruit trees throughout the property. The retreat is tastefully decorated to bring the outdoors in and provide a relaxing atmosphere to help you rejuvenate while here. The large windows flood our retreat with natural light and warmth and allow you to enjoy being among the trees even when indoors. The artwork throughout the space is custom and locally created bringing a sense of community to our home.

Our beautiful retreat is located right off the main road making it convenient to get to and just minutes from Pine Valley Reservoir. Bring your fishing gear, OHV's, e-bikes, hiking shoes, or simply a good book, and sit back and enjoy the activities and scenery this quiet little get-away has to offer.

Our cozy retreat is bright, clean, and fully furnished! It has just the right amount of rustic charm to make you feel like you are in the mountains but has all the comforts of home with a little farmhouse flair.

When you enter our retreat you will find an entry table with a welcome book, wifi code info, and a cute bowl to hold your keys. You will also see a shoe rack, and coat hooks to help you quickly feel at home.

Both bedrooms are equipped with luggage racks which can be found in the closets and hampers to help you keep your trip organized. Our bedrooms feature queen-sized beds with soft sheets and duvet comforters. Each side of the bed has a nightstand. and the room has one alarm clock. The lamps next to the beds have three brightness levels by touch and are equipped with many charging ports for your convenience. The rooms both feature 50" Smart TV's.

Need more sleeping spots? The upstairs game room has a couch that pulls out into a full-sized comfy bed.

Speaking of the game room...it also features an air hockey table, an arcade game console with thousands of games to choose from, and of course classic card games, puzzles, and board games that all ages can enjoy.

We have two bathrooms which are both well-lit. One has a stand-up shower and the other has a tub and shower combo great for bathing kids. In each bathroom, you will find towels especially to remove makeup, hair dryers, hand soap, and lotion by the sinks. In the showers, you will discover we have body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Toliet paper is also provided for your trip. Our oversized comfortable bath towels, hand towels, and wash clothes are also provided for your stay.

Our living room has a new, fabulously comfortable sectional perfect for watching a movie on our 75" smart TV, or curling up for a mid-day nap. You can sit in comfort and still be part of the conversation thanks to our open-concept living area.

Our dining room table seats 6 and the bar seats 4 more. So you have plenty of options of where you want to eat. Our table has padded seats perfect for if you want to play cards all night long.

The kitchen is the heart of every home and that includes this one. We have tried to think of everything you may need while staying at the retreat to make the perfect meal and dessert and serve it too.
We provide a few basics in our kitchen to get your stay off to a good start such as spices, oils, coffees and teas.

There is plenty of room to relax inside and to play outside in the backyard. Our front and backyards have many seating areas available. Sip your drink while relaxing in our rocking chairs on the front porch. Lounge on the sofa outback while dinner is cooking. Enjoy that delicious meal on our outside table, and take time to read a good book on our outdoor porch swing.

Our backyard also has a flat-top griddle and BBQ utensils for your use. It is perfect for burgers, veggies, and even pancakes.

Guests are welcome to use the washer/dryer combo in the closet by the front door. We have provided a few supplies if needed.

- Pine Valley is in a remote location. Pine Valley is 45 minutes from St. George Utah. There are no grocery stores or gas stations in Pine Valley. The closest service is Veyo Utah for gas. We suggest stocking up in St. George before you arrive...

- There is NO SMOKING, VAPING or having any illegal substances on the premises.

- No Pets are allowed on our premises.

- Please note that while we welcome families, there are NO GATES at the top or bottom of the stairs that lead to the upstairs game room. We do provide a pack and play for your stay.
