Location was good for me (close to train station & shopping area), but may not suit those who want to be near the Tower of pisa etc, although you can walk to the historic part of town in 30 min (2 km or so) if you wish. Not a place for a romantic stay (unless your date love kebabs - about 3 or 4 kebab shops in vicinity) but very convenient if you have a late flight arrival (as i did) as reception is open at night and its an easy walk to pisamover airport transfer."

- "I wasn't sure what to expect having read some very mixed reviews. The one bedroom apartment was bigger than l thought it would be, the large queen bed comfortable, as was the sofa bed, with the kitchen adequately stocked. I had brought my own washing up liquid, dishcloth and soap, having read some reviews about the lack of such essentials. If l were being picky, I would say the availability of a toaster and a kettle (for all the tea drinkers!) and additional cups etc would improve many of the poor reviews. Alessandra at Reception was very courteous and helpful with answering any questions, but the Continental Resort website could definitely use some updating in terms of photos and information provided, e.g. on using the pool and what services are on offer at the beach, for prospective guests. The email address link provided on the site was incorrect (.ita instead of .it) which was needlessly frustrating. Overall, the pool area is clean with toilets and showers, and well-maintained. The beach area too is well-maintained, perhaps a little strict in curtailing which deckchairs can be used, especially at the end of season or the weather is bad and there are very few guests around, with low demand for beach services. Overall, though l was pleasantly surprised by Continental Resort and will definitely return! Tirrenia is a great location, not only for a beach getaway, but also in its vicinity to Pisa Airport and Train Station, as a base for further travel. "

- "It was a last minute stay as we couldn't drive back to Florence from a day of sightseeing. Despite the last-minute decision, the staff provided complimentary water, and our request for a very late check-in was accommodated. However, I found the arrangement of our double bed, which consisted of two single beds placed side by side, to be slightly uncomfortable. During the night, the mattresses tended to drift apart, creating a gap that caused discomfort. I would have preferred if the mattresses were more securely attached to each other for a more comfortable sleeping experience."

The business offers free coffee/tea/water and use of a mini fridge/microwave. There was also a bottle/can opener located on top of the fridge for people to use. If you arrive prior to check in, there’s free luggage storage. I had issues with one of my keys (never used that type before) and when I reached out via WhatsApp, I got a response immediately. I had other questions about the property as well and again, had a prompt response. There were three bathrooms of varying sizes in the common area. All were immaculate. The room itself was HUGE. Enough room to walk around and even do yoga. Lots of storage space for your clothes. AC and Wifi worked perfectly. There was a small tv in the corner of the room that didn’t work but really, who goes on vacation to watch TV? This was my fifth hotel on my two week tour of Italy and the ONLY one where I chose to stay at where I had to share a bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, service and how large the room was. Will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and will come back to Pisa just to stay here longer."
