This is a comfortable, dual-level, family town home situated 1 block from the beach at Rio Del Mar … just far enough to feel peacefully apart from the crowds, but an easy amble to the beach. This popular beach runs south of Santa Cruz and boasts miles of sand and a variety of restaurants. There is also a shopping center with a major grocery store; sundries and hardware store and other shops and restaurants nearby. There are a variety of upscale fine dining choices, as well as many family oriented establishments within walking and driving distance. Your vacation could be filled with relaxing by the pool, enjoying the spa, parasailing, wave runner rentals, kayaking, paddle boarding, bike rentals, surfing lessons, sailing on Monterey Bay and much more! Seascape is minutes from downtown Capitola which features shopping, beach, great restaurants, wine tasting and great entertainment for all! Santa Cruz is just 10 to 15 mins away where you can enjoy the boardwalk, wharf, concerts, and restaurants.

Concierge services, front desk services, access to golf carts, fire-pit set up are not available. Room service through the resort is not available, however DoorDash, UberEats and pizza delivery all are accessible to order delivery to the villa. You’ll find our competitive rates along with quality of service will make up for the lack of access to the above referenced fee based services.

Please be aware that due to cooler climate experienced from ocean breezes, many properties in Santa Cruz County, especially near the coast, typically do not have air conditioning.

- "Perfectly situated between Santa Cruz and Carmel. Gorgeous views, quiet and near restaurants and beach." - "Beautifully appointed & very comfortable - nice ocean view. Easy to check in & hosts great to communicate with. Both bedrooms are almost side by side and there are two bathrooms. The couch in the living room pulls out to a queen size bed, which fit our teenage son without issue. The beach access is pretty steep and a bit of a long walk, fyi. But the views are lovely from the condo! Lots of restaurant options within walking distance, including a coffee shop & market to buy basic groceries. We walked over to the main Seascape lodge to go to dinner and sat outside. (Recommend reservations in advance.) All very nice! I would definitely stay again. Being located in the Seascape resort - this view also looks straight over at the lodge event area so there was a wedding the night of our stay and the music carries over was quite loud. I personally enjoyed the music and they had it off by 9pm, but if you are looking for a really quiet location, this may depend on the resort's event schedule. All in all - this is a very nice condo and I would highly recommend!"

this is a 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath, deluxe condo. Two, private balconies with whitewater and beach views and beautiful sunsets. A well equipped kitchen, an electric BBQ, access to 3 swimming pools and spas, a resort bar and restaurant, and easy beach access. Golf, fitness center and tennis are available at a reasonable cost. The Village includes a coffee shop, pizza parlor, Chinese restaurant, a grocery store, Mexican restaurant and more.
The property is ONLY CLEANED BEFORE ARRIVAL AND AFTER DEPARTURE. There are no daily housekeeping services currently being provided.
Contactless access to the condo eliminates the need to check-in at the front desk of the resort! Hand crafted by my dad in 1960 out of redwood and knotty pine, this meticulously maintained and spotless beach house is perfect for families with children or couples looking for a romantic getaway.
Our house is limited to 4 registered guests and rented very sparingly, and our single story "Hawaiian style" 1950's beach cottage is located on a private dead end street with a level, flat yard.... just 300 yards from the beach. Private and sunny backyard patio and sundeck with views up to tree filled open space hillside, total quiet and zen! Please read our reviews. You'll have sun, solitude, total privacy, a large backyard, sundeck, and sublime quiet in this classic/vintage, mid-century beach house, which is located on this very quiet cul de sac backing up to a Santa Cruz County Designated Scenic Corridor greenbelt in your back yard. From the backyard watch the wild-birds, seagulls, red- tailed hawks, and then listen to the owls at night. (did we say NO stairs ?!!...ours is a single story house, large level front yard and level fenced backyard, and short level walk to the sand).
We call it the "cove" because its located 300 yards from the water in what is a natural cove with the ancient fossil rich ocean cliff rising 100' behind it. (you may have read about the Mastodon tooth discovery here in June '23).

This aloha style mid-century beach home was hand-built by my dad in 1960 for my mom and is a classic mid-century beach bungalow surf shack with 12' open beam vaulted ceilings, knotty pine interior, lots of natural light, and sundeck over the carport looking out to the mountain behind and to the sunsets over the bay 300 yards to the west.

This is a unique one-bedroom condo that has a stylishly decorated and recently remodeled interior that can accommodate up to a family of 5 with a comfortable KING BED in the bedroom and a QUEEN SOFA BED and TWIN XL MURPHY BED in the large living room.

BATHROOM:

In the bathroom, you`ll find that there`s a bidet for those travelers who like extra luxuries. There`s also other items such as a professional quality hair dryer, make-up cloths, super soft towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Most importantly, bright lights so it`s easy to get ready.

CONTENTS:

You will find the condo to be very well appointed (more so than most). Your stay will include a supply of high quality tissue, paper towels, toilet paper, and toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and bar soap. We do not use cheap supplies as we would want to be comfortable if we were on vacation and have supplied it as we would hope would be done for us. There are other amenities, such as a portable bluetooth speaker, computer, portable fans, vacuum, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels, boogie boards, pack & play, electric kettle, rice maker/steam pot, blender, coffee pot with coffee, creamer, and sugar, tea, toaster, dish-ware, pots, pans, silverware, many games, puzzles, books, extra blankets, soft bath towels, high quality linens, and 65 & 55 inch Samsung Smart tv`s to allow use of most all tv streaming services in both the living area and bedroom.

AT RESORT:

You will have full use of the pool and spa in the north bluff, but the pool and spa in the main building and south bluff are unfortunately not available due to resort wide dispute between the onsite management and the HOA. The Sanderlings Restaurant and Bar is just steps away from the condo, in the same building and is a great place to visit for lunch, dinner, or drinks with amazing food and spectacular views. There`s a path that spans throughout the resort, but most conveniently, it makes for a short walk down to the perfect beach with clean and soft sand.

NEAR RESORT:

Across the street you`ll find Seascape Village that has a great coffee shop and deli, pizza place, Mexican food restaurant, small quaint market, liquor store, fitness training center, and a few other unique shops. There`s also a nearby golf course that accepts outside guests for a cost.

The Seascape Sports Club allows guests to use their facility for a daily fee that is subject to change, but currently $20 per day.

Enjoy contactless access when you arrive. Simply park in front of the resort or under in the parking garage and use the provided code to enter the condo. There`s no need to check-in at the front desk of the resort because your reservation is directly with us and will not be in their system. Parking is free throughout the resort.

We do this because we love it! The various spaces are decorated by us personally and we do our absolute best to ensure that you feel comfortable in the choice you made when booking your stay. While we cannot be there in person during your stay, we will be available by phone, email, text, and the app if you should need us for any reason!

All cleaning is in compliance with the 5 step enhanced cleaning process. The condo will be freshly cleaned and stocked for check-in. Extra cleanings during your stay are available upon request for a fee.

THE CONDO IS NOT STOCKED FOR LONG STAYS. Only an initial supply of items such as toilet paper, tissue, paper towels, coffee etc are supplied. This is done to make things easier for you when you arrive. Also, there are towels and linens provided, but they are not cleaned or resupplied during your stay. A laundry facility is located in the parking garage, below unit 116, which can be used for free. If you would like extra cleanings during your stay which would include a refreshed setup just as when you arrived, it can be arranged for a $149 fee.

EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF CLEANING SCHEDULE AND TIMED LOCK CODING. It is guaranteed to be ready by the normal check-in time.

There is no conventional satellite or cable television. Live TV is thru the Peacock app on the smart tv`s and Apple or Amazon are available for streaming.

THERE IS NO CONVENTIONAL OVEN. There is a kitchen with a Advantium oven which takes the place of a conventional oven and can cook similar, but faster using 3 different cook methods.

THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING. Most coastal locations don`t have and rarely need air conditioning because of the cool breeze from the ocean.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. As per personal policy and the policy of the resort, guests are not allowed to have pets of the property. If you see them during your stay it is just because regulation allows neighboring residents to pass thru to the beach.

The resort facilities and services may, from time to time, have certain amenities temporarily out of service or under maintenance for various reasons. We will keep you informed as we are if this occurs, but cannot make special accommodation for conditions that are out of our control.

We hope you enjoy our piece of paradise -- newly-renovated, full ocean view villa; our home away from home! We have worked hard to create a comforting and luxurious welcome to our beach villa, located in Aptos, CA. As of Fall 2022 we've upgraded to hardwood floors, two luxurious bathrooms, all new furniture and decor, spruced up kitchen and fireplace, and added tech, including keyless entry.

Our family has been visiting Seascape Resort for over 20 years. It's been a place to relax and create memories - from milestone birthdays to the quick weekend getaways. We hope it is the same for you and your loved ones!

The Space:

This ground-level villa offers a seamless flow between its rooms and spaces, there are no stairs in this unit, all bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor. Easy access and parking, hassle free. The primary bedroom, a private sanctuary, features a king-size bed, ocean views and an attached full bathroom. The second bedroom, equally comfortable, also has a king-size bed with the second full bathroom in the hallway. The living room provides a welcoming shared space with a sectional sleeper sofa and linens provided. Both bathrooms are well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for meal preparation, from a baking sheet to a blender, and includes a dining table for enjoying meals together. PROPERTY ACCESS: The property has an electronic door lock that is accessible anytime during stay. We will send out the check in instructions 48 hours before your arrival. You can expect to receive them via your booking platform's app messaging system.
FREE AMENITIES: Use of the North Bluff Pool and Spa; access with your guest code - we provide pool/beach towels in your unit. Use of beach and any open firepit (fires are allowed on the sand). Use of lobby round seating area at fireplace. Use of walking paths and overlook benches.

Capitola Village is about 8 miles away and can be reached by car in less than 15 minutes.

Other Things to Note:
There are no daily housekeeping services. The property is cleaned before arrival and after departure. We provide hand soap, dish soap, dish towels, hand towels, bath towels, wash cloths, paper towels and toilet paper. 3-in-1 wash is provided. A cleaning kit is located under the kitchen sink for cleaning up spills or tidying up during your stay (please do not use premier towels or linens to wipe up spills).

We provide a well-stocked villa for your stay including a kitchen complete with pots, pans and dishes and utensils - everything you will need for cooking a hearty breakfast, lunch break or family dinner after a day of adventure. We supply Keurig & a drip pot coffee maker with coffee pouches, pods & supplies to get your vacation started off right.

Pool towels are provided and additional bedding supplies can be found in the bedroom closets.

Concierge services, front desk services, access to staff driven golf carts are not available.

The fitness facility and bike rentals available for an additional fee (to be paid on-site).
