A great place to relax and unwind. Light open and airy spacious home with 4 bedrooms, 5 beds and 2 baths. Main bedroom ensuite and Hall bath. Recently remodeled with a great kitchen open to the dining area for wonderful meals with the whole group or game nights. This is a clean nicely decorated comfortable house filled with art and amenities. This home is on a quiet half acre with views of the Sandia mountains from the front and back yards and amazing sunsets from the spacious back yard. Hot Air Balloons, roadrunners, quail and dove are often seen on or around the property. Plenty of storage space for long stays.
Kitchen is stocked with the essentials - Dishes, silverware, pots and pans, blender, coffee, tea, breakfast items, olive oil, spices, some condiments and more. We have rented from Jenny four times, each time a different house and they have all been great—clean, beautifully decorated and well-stocked with everything we needed. Jenny is so friendly and quick to respond to any message I send. But we’ve never had a problem, just occasional questions, always promptly answered. This house is our favorite out of all we stayed in. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, clean rooms including kitchen and bathroom, two back porches, and oh, the view! The house is located on a ridge with a strip of open space behind it, so there is nothing to block a superb view of the Sandia Mountains by day and dazzling city lights at night. There are quail in the open strip area too! The house is close to shopping and restaurants. I am a person with physical challenges and walk with a cane but the house is really pretty accessible—easy to get in and out through the inside garage door, one step down to the porches, and a step-in shower in the master bathroom. One thing I did want to mention—the king bed in the master bedroom is pretty high, definitely higher than it looks in the picture. But a very nice and sturdy footstool has been thoughtfully provided for short legged people like me—thanks, Jenny! Sadly, we probably won’t be visiting Rio Rancho too much any more as our family just moved away. But we encourage everyone else to rent from Jenny!!"

The house is all on one floor. One step up from the sidewalk into the entryway and you are there. Casa Cabezon is located in a quiet neighborhood in Rio Rancho New Mexico, next to Albuquerque. It is a spacious and cozy home with plenty of a walking/biking trails close by. It is located 1.7 miles from Rust Medical center, 2.7 miles from Intel, 7 miles to beautiful village of Corrales NM, and 12 minutes to the famous Bosque trail that runs along the Rio Grande River in Albuquerque and Corrales.
Rio Rancho is about 45 minutes from Santa Fe, 20-30 minutes from University of New Mexico ( Albuquerque main campus)/Uptown.
You can find within minutes shopping and variety of restaurants.
Come enjoy NM for its outdoor activities, and famous International Balloon Fiesta in October. Casa Cabezon is 9 miles from the Balloon Fiesta Park.

The beds were comfortable and the towels were good quality. On the other hand, the toliet paper was not! We went and bought a small pack. There were games that we enjoyed, but only 1 tv in the home. I did like being able to park in the garage. The patio was also nice. And, although they allow pets, it didn't smell like it. We will definitely stay again."

Beautiful two story house with breathtaking mountain views 20 minutes from Balloon Fiesta Park! Enjoy a private seasonal pool (Apr-Sept) and seasonal hot tub (Mar-Oct) all to yourselves! No more sharing with strangers. The pool is kept at a nice temp in summer *read disclaimer* and hot tub can go up to 104 degrees. There’s a fire pit and chiminea for s’mores to enjoy the beautiful New Mexico nights. A great, safe, location close to walking trails, sports complex, and dog park.

The space
Guests will enjoy three bedrooms. One king bedroom downstairs with 3/4 bath with shower next to it and TV and internet for Netflix and digital cable. The other two bedrooms are upstairs with one full bath with shower and bathtub combo. One bedroom has a bunk bed with full bed on top and futon couch on bottom that also serves as full bed. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed with TV and digital cable. The master bedroom and garage are locked and not available for use.

Full kitchen with everything needed (dishes, seasonings, coffee maker, blender, baking dishes, pots/pans, etc.), two living areas, a breakfast nook, and a dining area for big groups.

Extremely private large backyard with outdoor lights, artificial grass, trees, fire pit, chiminea, gazebo, pool and hot tub. Pool starts at 3ft in the shallow end and works it’s way to 9ft deep in the deep end. Pool and hot tub are completely fenced off for safety of small children and/or pets. Perfect environment for vacationing with family and friends!

*DISCLAIMER* Pool is open and heated from April 1st-Sept 30th. Pool WILL NOT be heated after Sept 30th which is reflected in the price decrease. Hot tub is open April 1st-Oct 31st and can be heated. Both pool and hot tub closed November-March which is reflected in the significant price decrease.

Guest access
Guests will have access to fully stocked kitchen, two living rooms, king bedroom downstairs with 3/4 bathroom with shower, queen bedroom upstairs, and third room with bunk bed that sleeps two on top and two on bottom. Full bath upstairs with shower and bathtub.
