On arrival the lady on reception was welcoming and showed us to our rooms, which were next door. They were modern and clean and far better than many 4 star hotels I have stayed at. My boys (10 & 12) loved the swimming pool and the apartment has a lovely covered outside seating area. Huge trees provide shade for your sunbed in the garden and there is a hammock, great for relaxing and reading your book. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean with a modern bathroom and air conditioning. There is a BBQ for guests to use, we did find the kitchen utensils for cooking etc were limited, however a quick chat to the owners and they provided the items we asked for. The owners, Aideen and Diago live upstairs and are the nicest hosts. They provided olive oil from their grove and eggs from their chickens and are always on hand to answer any questions or just have a chat. Salo itself was lovely, a really nice 2km promenade around the lake with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. We found it to be a good base for exploring the many other pretty towns around the lake (definitely recommend Limone, so pretty!). It’s just under an hour to the theme parks and just over an hour to Verona. A car is essential if staying here. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here."

Villa luna is a place of stunning beauty, with incredible and breathtaking lake views from almost every angle of the house and garden. Peace, tranquility, modern comfort and harmony with the surrounding nature are the keywords for this property. Immersed in a large private parkland, in the wooded hills above Salò, the outdoor spaces offer the possibility of total relaxation, with fabulous outdoor dining spaces, barbecue, large pool and jacuzzi, as well as a fitness area, ping pong table, and children's play area.

Our guests are accommodated in the ground floor apartment (175 sqm total) of our stunning luxury modern villa, as well as in a charming small independent cottage on the property, newly built in 2014. The apartment for our guests has 3 large bedrooms: 2 doubles and a double with a sofa bed, for a total of 10 sleeping places. Each bedroom has a flat screen HD tv, and is also equipped with an in-room kettle for coffee or tea, and a safe. There are 3 new modern luxury bathrooms, two are ensuite to the bedrooms and the third is in the hallway just outside the third bedroom. There is a very large (60sqm) open space lounge, dining and kitchen area, with access to a private section of the garden, only for the guests' use. In the communal living room, there is a large flat screen lcd/satellite TV and an excellent stereo system. There is also another double sofa bed in the lounge area for 2 extra people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you expect and need, including fridge, freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, and a fantastic top end capuccino and espresso machine. The dining area has a big country kitchen style table that can seat up to 18 or more.

The cottage, “Wiluna”, is a charming little building (50sqm total) on the property by the pool and garden, and completely independent from the main house. There's is a double bedroom as well as a double sofa bed in the lounge, for a total of 4 sleeping places. The bathroom in the cottage is brand new, as is the kitchen and the dining area. The appliances include a fridge, freezer, coffee machine, hob and microwave etc. It has a satellite LCD satellite TV, and in a corner stands a majolica wood stove for the cold months. The cottage is opposite the villa, by the pool and upper garden area.

In Villa Luna, you can enjoy a lovely mixture of privacy and independence and fun,in total security with the constant availability and company, if you wish, of the hosting family. My family lives in the apartment on the top floor of the villa, always ready to give help and information, and supply whatever you need to be comfortable and to feel at home (and our children are always ready to make new friends!). So if you want company, you will have it! But if you want total privacy, that's what you will have!
The upper garden and pool area is a communal area shared with other guests and my family (my husband, our 3 children that age from 4 to 14, and me). There's an open shower by the pool, and also a bathroom just across the garden with toilet and possibility to shower. There's an outdoor fitness area with equipment for cardio fitness and exercising, and a barbecue. The outside sitting and dining area on the lower garden is for the exclusive use of our guests. Both the apartment and the cottage have independent entrances.

Wifi is included and there is sheltered car port for 3-4 cars.

About 100m down the road through the woods, there is a wonderful traditional osteria restaurant with great food, excellent prices, fantastic views. The villa is about 10 minutes from the centre of Salò, with all its restaurants, shops, transport services, tourist information office and beaches, etc.

Villa Luna is in an ideal position for you to experience all of the wonderful activities Lake Garda has to offer. Take a ferryboat to any other town by the lake, and have great day trips on and by the lake. Appartamento Cavour 1 is located on the first floor of a building consisting of a few residential units. The apartment comprises a large living room, a single sofa bed, satellite TV, an open kitchen with a dishwasher, a fridge, a microwave and kitchenware. The sleeping area has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single bed. In the common area a single sofa bed. Finally in the bathroom you can find a toilet, sink, shower and bidet. - "We loved our stay at this apartment! Elena was wonderful - she texted me detailed pictures on how to find the apartment. There was a lovely bowl of fresh fruit and water left for us to enjoy. She brought us a second set of keys when we asked her for them. She was very quick with responses to our questions. The location was absolutely perfect - right in the center of Salo. You walked down one internal flight of stairs and one external flight, and you are right in a charming square with restaurants and shops just steps away. The ferry and taxi stand are very close by as well. There is a shop across the square where you can buy cheese and bread, and a very nice grocery store that you can walk to in 5 minutes. The apartment was equipped with everything you need to make a meal, and a Nespresso machine is thoughtfully stocked with capsules for coffee in the morning. The apartment has been newly renovated and was immaculate and very comfortable. The only thing missing was a couple of fans for the bedrooms - the air conditioning worked well but it really only reached the main part of the apartment. The bedrooms were very warm at night. We found Salo to be a great home base for exploring Lake Garda, and would definitely recommend this apartment!"

- "The bartender and lady at check in we're both so nice! The view from the balcony is amazing both day and night. There was a little cat that appeared on the patio and hung out with us. The pool was clean with plenty of sunbeds, and covered awnings if you wanted shade. The food was good and one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had! Villa Chiara is an elegant house in the village of Cunettone (Salò) composed by two double bedrooms and one with a bunk bed. It has a new kitchen and four bathrooms (three main bathrooms and one service bathroom). Outside you can enjoy the shadow of the olive trees, sunbath or have a quiet meal under the equipped patio.
Pizzerias and supermarket are in a walking distance.
It takes only 5 minutes by car to reach the town of Salò and the beach.

It is a semi-detached house but with completely independent entrance.

GARDEN:
The garden is private. There are a barbecue and also four sunbeds.

PARKINGS: one private garage is available, but you can park also in the front garden .

It offers a new swimming pool (not heated), a garden and a beautiful view of the lake. It is the perfect house to spend a comfortable, relaxing and pleasant holiday. The spaces are large and equipped enough to be enjoyed comfortably by a group of 10 people. The dining area has a large table that comfortably seats 12 people, the outdoor terrace is equipped with a table and chairs for 10 people and a professional gas barbecue. The pool area is furnished with 5 sun loungers and 3 deck chairs, the terraces on the first floor are equipped with armchairs for guests to relax and enjoy the wonderful panorama of the lake. The kitchen is completely new and well equipped.

The house has five bedrooms, three with en-suite bathrooms, while two share a bathroom. All rooms are air-conditioned.

From Villa dei Lauri it is only a few minutes' walk to the nearby supermarket, bakery, newspaper kiosk and the centre of Gardone Riviera Basso, which offers various shops, excellent restaurants and bars. The centre of Gardone Riviera Alto can be reached with a nice twenty-minute walk, or in five minutes by car. A fifteen-minute walk will take you to Salò, a town known for its luxurious shops and beautiful lakeside promenade.

" - "Lake Garda is a jewel in northern Italy, a beautiful body of the clearest water surrounded by a string of elegant towns full of lovely shops and restaurants. Villa dei Lauri is in a perfect location, 200 metres up a quiet lane from the lakeside between Salo and Gardone, easy walking distance to reach a stretch of the promenade and midway between the attractions of Sirmione in the south and Riva del Garda in the north. A bakery was a short hop away for morning bread and cornetti, and a small supermarket was just a short distance further. The house itself has four lovely bedrooms on the first floor, three with wide balconies, and a twin room on the ground floor. We were a family group of seven adults, and we very much enjoyed the large garden and pool, as well as the outside table that we used for all the meals that we ate at the villa. The house needed a visit from the electrician to sort out a problem with the roller shutters (which seemed to have a life of their own!), but this was dealt with extremely promptly by Laura who was very helpful throughout our stay. We'd certainly go back to this villa in the future."
