The hotel is difficult to find on your first visit however this is more than compensated for by the location and quality of the hotel. The accommodation, food, service and facilities are all excellent, with the staff very friendly and always ready to deal with any request you may have. The dining room is very comfortable and the food excellent value for money this coupled with a first class bar make the stay very enjoyable. The rooms do require upgrading, and the sight of the hotel handyman painting the corridors was slightly off putting. The swimming pool is good with comfortable sun loungers available, drinks will also be served by the pool if required. The hotel provides a free mini bus to and from Torri four times a day"

- "This is a family run hotel, and it shows. The Consolini family really care about their business, and they have invested a lot of time, money, energy and enthusiasm into the hotel. Generally we were left to our own devices, which was just what we wanted, but if we needed anything, someone was always available and happy to help. This even extended to impromptu Italian lessons in the evening, and Marcello's patience with the mad British couple was nothing less than saintly. The room was great - even though it was in the blazing August sun all day, the blinds and (quiet) air conditioning kept the room cool. The bed was comfortable, so we slept well. The double-glazing also helped - there was an enormous, loud thunderstorm on our first night, but the room was perfectly quiet. We spent most of our time exploring the area, but for anyone looking for a hotel to stay in and around, there is an amazing pool there, which for us, provided a lovely backdrop for a nightcap. In short, if you are looking for a small, friendly hotel, then I can't recommend Hotel Al Caminetto highly enough. It met and exceeded our expectations. Oh, and one last important detail - I think it also serves the best coffee in Torri."

- "We had a great time at Hotel Galvani. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony and fantastic lake view. The room had everything you needed including a fridge and a kettle. The room wasn't as big as we were expecting but it was fine. I assume rooms on the other floors are larger. It was an easy, flat 15 minute walk into Torri del Benaco with it's little harbour, castle, shops and, cafes and bars. There is a ferry service and a good local bus service to other towns on the lake. Other reviews mentioned noise from the road (the hotel is just across the road from the lake) but it didn't bother us at all. The staff were great and very helpful, and the facilities were excellent for a smaller, more intimate hotel. If we were going to Lake Garda again we wouldn't hesitate to go to Hotel Glavani again."

- "We stayed at this hotel in July, which was of course high season. So near by the lake it was terrible crowded, but this hotel was really a place to relax. And if you wanna have some more entertainment you can drive easily 5 minutes down to the lake or bigger places. We loved it. Especially the view and the pool. Breakfast was also great. Nice location on the waterfront a minute walk from the centre." - "the room i ordered from expedia included free parking which was written clearly in the voucher. when checked in i was told that expedia can write whatever they want in the confirmation email and in the offer the publish on their website and that if i'd like to use the parking i'd have to pay 10 EUR per day. except for the breakfest waiter who was kind and professional the front desk staff wasn't as nice as they should be, nor spoke well english which made it a lot more difficult to mannage with them. over all i'm dissapointed both of the hotel which wasn't honest and with expedia that never agreed to take responsibility on the mistake nor even suggested any kind of compensation for the extra money i was chraged for using the parking which should have been free. on top of all, when tryed to make special request prior to vacation the hotel just ignored my emails and requests and not even refused. and one thing that you should know before booking- the hotel is just infront of the fairy which cross the lake and many rooms have a view to a public parking lot which doesn't reflect the beauty of the area."

The room we stayed in was large airy, clean and had a beautiful balcony view of the lake. Onsite restaurant offered good dinner options at a reasonable cost. The breakfast buffet provided was one of the best on our trip. Beautiful location in a small village square overlooking the lake. Rooms are spacious - we stayed in a vintage room- bed very comfortable and effective air conditioning. High quality towels and bedding. Swimming pool and hot tub area was modern and immaculate- staff very happy to bring drinks and snacks to sun loungers (umbrellas provided). We ate in the restaurant both nights and food was very high quality and reasonably priced. Steaks on the first night and mixed fish grill on the second - large portions. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast each morning was a feast. To name a few- bacon, ham, cheeses, all types of eggs, breads, sweet pastries, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, as well as cartons of about 10 types of other juices. If you left breakfast hungry it was your own fault. The hotel is manned by a small dedicated and hard working team who are friendly and helpful. Nothing is a problem to them. I would definitely stay here again. Private underground parking. Lots to see in surrounding area including Madonna Della Corona- 40 min drive through beautiful scenery. "

- "Location. Excellently placed just outside Torri del Benaco (< 5 mins drive), situated right opposite Lake Garda. Uninterrupted amazing views every morning. Walk out the front door of the hotel, cross a road, & you are standing on the shoreline. If you want an uncrowded, quiet, early morning swim in Lake Garda, this is perfect. On-site, gated car-parking, with overflow spaces available on the road side immediately outside the hotel gates. It was a perfect base for us (a couple) to explore all that Lake Garda (via rented car) & its picturesque villages have to offer. Room. Comfortable large double bed, excellent air conditioning (outside temp. was 35 degrees Celsius), hair dryer in bathroom, flat screen TV with Italian, German & a couple of English channels, very clean, serviced daily. Quiet & tidy. Hotel. Family-run & owned. Managers & staff take a lot of pride and joy in their property. It is very clean, gardens, daytime cafe (tea, coffee, gelato), & dining areas are very well kept. Restaurant. Wide range of food options to suit many tastes, with a multilingual menu. This time the bathroom was improved, that's a plus. Enough space, parking lot available, beach just on the other side of the street, A/C and balcony. Friendly staff! - "Gorgeous B&B with fabulous staff! We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here and will deffinately recommend to others. The lake opposite the B&B is a quiet and very relaxing area perfect for sunbathing and even having a swim in the lake. There is a bus stop 1 minute walk from the hotel which is great to get the bus into busier areas around the lake. There isn’t much around the hotel but it is in a very quiet scenic area and the bus ride into Garda is about 20minutes and costs 2-3 euro a ticket. Would deffinately return. "

- "We were blown away by the views from the balcony - the photos don't do it justice! Barbara was a great host and gave us lots of info about the apartment and local area, and was easily contactable if needed. Location is great - it was great to be able to pop down for a swim in the lake, and an easy stroll into Torri to reach all the restaurants. Also recommend a visit to Sirmione very posh and quite different to the other towns. Not much to do up the north of lake Garda but if your wanting to do watersports it looks like the place to be but it’s worth a visit to the waterfalls and caves seen nothing like it."

For the less sporty in summer there is a free shuttle bus that goes to Albisano -Torri del benaco until midnight where you can find numerous shops, the ferry to the other shore, and of course even confusion. Travel time 5 minutes. For golf enthusiasts "Ca'degli ulivi" at Marciaga.

The house is located just above the charming village of Torri del Benaco, which dominates from above. From the terrace, the bedroom, the living room and the garden you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Garda. It can be reached by car and has a parking space. The large garden, with the typical olive trees of the lake, also has a veranda and you can easily relax in the quiet, surrounded by greenery. Torri is easily reachable on foot or by car. From the locality of Loncrino the "Sentiero del Pellegrino" branches off, which heads both north and south, crossing the gentle landscapes of the hills, with wonderful views of the lake. From Torri the ferry connects the Veronese shore with the Brescia one in twenty minutes. Verona is 45 km away, Garda 7, Malcesine 20, Lazise 15.

- "Good sized and comfortable apartment with generous garden and magnificent views. There is a lovely terrace to sit and eat out, see the lake and the mountains, and watch the boats and the sunsets. The garden has olives and other trees, with lots of places to sit and lounge - both shady spots and sunny spots. Inside there is a very spacious sitting room with comfy chairs. There are maps and information about walks, and also books and magazines. The kitchen is fairly small but very well equipped, lots of pots and utensils, and everything works well. The owners are very welcoming, generous and helpful. Torri del Benaco is a short walk away down an interesting (and steep) high-walled road. See if you can find all the ammonite fossils in the stones along the way! Torri is a nice little town, with lots of restaurants, cafes and boutiques, a couple of decent small supermarkets. There are bigger supermarkets at Garda and Bardolino. There is a good bus service, and there are ferries but we didn’t use those. There are lots of directions to go walking from the house. The walk to Crero is delightful, and the new Tibetan bridge across a spectacular gorge beyond Crero is a must. It is mountainbiking heaven - we reckon it is better than the more famous Riva end of the lake. There are lots of really good rides at all levels of difficulty. There is a bike hire (including e-bikes) shop in Torri."

THE SPACE

Villa Sybille was built 3 km away from the centre of Torri del Benaco, on the hill above the Lake of Garda with a phenomenal view. Driving up the street leading from the Lake to its surrounding mountain “Monte Baldo”, you will be amazed by the breathtaking view and the beauty of our landscapes.

The house is located in a private and quiet neighbourhood that offers at the same time privacy and a beautiful panorama and includes a protected area, therefore the last part of the street to the house doesn’t have asphalt.



LIVING SPACES

The villa welcomes you with a covered driveway gate where you can comfortably park 2 or 3 cars and unload luggages.

The house is developed on two floors: Villa Sybille welcomes you with a beautiful panorama of the lake that can be enjoyed from the whole first floor. This floor provides a living room, with a sofa, a SMART-TV and a table for your breakfast, a kitchen, completely provided with a fridge, refrigerator, gas cookers, dishwasher, and all the utensils needed in order to prepare delicious meals for your family holiday, and a bathroom. The glass-door in the living-room can be slid to access the covered terrace, developed on two sides of the house, furnished with a large table where you can have lunch and dinner enjoying the view with your whole family or friends.



SLEEPING AREA

From the living room you descend with a staircase to the lower floor, that is directly in front of the pool and garden area and contains four bedrooms all complemented by a large built-in wardrobe and french doors affixed to the garden. The night space has a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, another master bedroom,two double bedrooms and a second bathroom with a shower. Three bedrooms are air-conditioned in order to offer the most comfortable experience ever to our guests.

Adjacent to the bedrooms’ area we have a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. The laundry is connected with a second living area that offers comfortable sofas and a direct access to the pool area.



There are video surveillance cameras in the external areas of the property. The images are not subject to recording.



THE OUTSIDE SPACE

The focal point of the summer life of our villa is definitely the pool well inserted in the green garden, with a wonderful belvedere and equipped with sun beds and umbrellas for a perfect relaxation.

The terrace, which develops on three of the house’s sides, has an outdoor living area decorated with a second dining table on the back of the villa and some couches. The house is also provided with a gas BBQ that offers the possibility to enjoy a good grill altogether.

The pool doesn’t have a heating system and is available from 20.04 to'1.10.



THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Lake Garda, located in North Italy, is a vacation destination all year-round. Visitors can surf, sail, and swim in the crystal clear lake, the largest in Italy. The Gardaland Resort, a theme park with a multitude of attractions like and Sealife aquarium, and Jumanji - the Adventure opening in 2022, is about 30 km away. Verona is 45 km away and Venice 170 km away. Many guests also take advantage of our beautiful mountains for hiking and biking.

- "We loved this villa. It has excellent accommodation for up to eight people, stunning views and a gorgeous swimming pool. The villa was spotless and had plenty of crockery and kitchen equipment to cook for a party of up to eight people. We will certainly return if we decide to come to Lake Garda again. All in all it was an absolutely first class experience. The directions to find the villa gave a good impression of where it is situated but we didn't see that it specifically said it was off the lakeside road between Torri and Garda. We initially followed the directions given by the map on the app for the villa and were taken to completely the wrong place. This could be made clearer. It would also be good if in the description of the villa it could be made clear that there are two steep staircases, one inside the villa and one leading down to the pool. Neither of these has a bannister or railing and so they are quite difficult for anyone with a disability or mobility issues. We had a couple of issues with the awning that shades the terrace alongside the pool. It is very low at the edge beside the pool and each one of us banged our head against it at least once. Thankfully there was no serious injury but people should be made aware of this."

Private garden and swimming pool, shared with other owners of the residence, immersed in a green olive grove. In the open-air garden there is a shower with hot water.
On the ground floor there is a large room that includes a lounge with 2 sofas, a dining area with extendable round table, a well equipped kitchen corner and a small bathroom.
At this floor there is a beautiful furnished terrace with oval iron table and chairs for eating outdoors !!!
On the first floor there is a double bedroom with bathroom, large glazing, terrace and beautiful lake view, a bedroom with a French bed, a sofa bed that converts to 2 single beds and a bathroom with shower.
Downstairs there is a large room with a lake view window where there are 3 plus 2 beds and a bathroom with shower.

The view from the house to the Lake was magnificent. The pool was well-used and enjoyed. Torri Del Benaco was less congested than other resorts - what a relief! Our only tiny issue was that we could not figure out how to heat the hot tub above 30 degress C (86F) I reached out to the hosts who responded quickly to all our needs but on this one it was a bit comical. I won't go into detail but I'm guessing they consider it more of a mini-pool than a hot tub. But its definitely a hot tub/spa only we couldn't get it to reach those temps. It was not a big deal. And there's a shared pool with a view on the hillside above and of course beautiful Lake Garda to go sail/swim/play in. That one little hiccup aside, we fully endorse staying at this Garda property. You won't be disappointed."

It ticked all our boxes for a quick stay: dog friendly, parking etc. It’s right on the side of the lake, a couple of minutes walk from the small fort/castle, quaint harbour surrounded by places to eat and drink. More importantly was the family/ friendly feeling, the staff were super friendly, helping out above and beyond expectations. Even when tragedy struck with a broken down car, the staff made phone calls, translated and the owner himself stepped up and offered to drive us to the garage which was 1 hour round trip. It’s a 2 star hotel with 5 star service! This is recently under new management so with service like this, I can foresee 2 stars becoming 3 or 4 very soon! Can’t recommend these guys enough!
