- "We spent one night here as we were visiting family in the area. The staff were very welcoming and courteous. Our room was very clean, spacious and was tastefully decorated/ furnished. The price we paid was very competitive for such a lovely hotel and on top of this, we enjoyed a hearty cooked breakfast, and a swim in the indoor pool, all of which was included in the overall price. We look forward to visiting again, hopefully when the weather will be kinder and we can enjoy the sea and the golden sands outside. Thank you."

Our house has 4 bedrooms and a newly refurbished kitchen, making it a comfortable base for your stay.
Please note: one of the bedrooms (fourth) is reached by a steep stair.
We’re just a 5-minute walk from the beach and the Sandbanks Ferry, which takes you across to Shell Bay and gives easy access to the Purbeck Hills and Jurassic Coast.
The house has a sheltered garden and space to park 2 cars.
Sandbanks is surrounded by water, with the beach on one side and Poole Harbour on the other. Rick Stein’s restaurant and a few others are also within walking distance.

Flat 5 is a larger than average (1000 sq ft) bright and modern, first floor apartment set in its own grounds with sea glimpses from the balcony.
The apartment is less than 100 yards from the award winning blue flag beach and with great access to Bournemouth, Poole and Purbeck.
The flat will have been professionally cleaned, beds made up for you and towels for your use. Unfortunately I am no longer able to provide beach towels.
We have a range of beach toys and body-boards for your use. Additionally, there are 5 bicycles in the garage for your use but please bring helmets and any lights you may want. There are cycle lanes and paths for the younger ones and cycling to Bournemouth and beyond is possible but time restrictions limit riding to early morning and dusk in the summer.

The property paintwork is refreshed yearly, we are constantly improving the property, offering a high level of luxury & comfort. There is a giant chest full of toys, a children's library for children to use. With plenty of puzzles & games for children & adults too there is plenty within the property to keep you amused. The space within the property allows families plenty of space for the different dynamics of a group.
The Garden Level has a large, discrete, King en suite bedroom, 'Silver Sands', with direct garden access via French doors & steps. Ideal for guests requiring privacy away from the remaining party. Silver Sands is next to the utility room which contains an American fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board. The room is perfect for a couple with a young baby, a nanny or elderly relatives looking for a tranquil retreat. Having the utility room next door with a American fridge freezer, microwave & kettle is useful for late night baby feeds.
This ground level is also home to the 7m x 13m gym & ping pong table & makes a perfect play room for children on a rainy day. There is also access to the pool on this level & above in the dining room. The pool doors are securely locked. We must stress children under 16 should not use the gym equipment and should be monitored if playing in this area.
The next level up, the 1st floor is the open plan living area. You will find 2 lounges, a kitchen and a dining room. This area creates a large space to entertain or relax in; the blue sofa lounge leads onto the dining room which has a 14 seat dining table. There are cushions in the nearest cupboard to give little ones extra height on the chairs. We also have 2 high chairs available. The dining room then leads into the large kitchen, giving you an immense feeling of space. Beyond the kitchen is our final room on this level, the movie room. With 3 flat screen TVs, you can watch TV in the blue sofa lounge, listen to the news & drink coffee by the kitchen island or immerse yourself in the comfy sofas & surround sound of the secluded, luxurious movie room, for a deafening & awesome experience.
The large modern, white, fully equipped kitchen is ideal for entertaining. It has a large glass topped island with 4 bar seats, wine chiller & LED mood lighting to create evening atmosphere. All 4 rooms on this floor have large French doors leading out onto a balcony or terrace, always giving you that opportunity for secluded peaceful moment if needed.
In the dining room, locked double French doors lead out onto the conservatory balcony, which overlooks the heated swimming pool & hot tub. An ideal spectators gallery. The conservatory has blue LED mood lighting & pool lights to create an atmospheric setting for night time swims. The pool has a swim jet which makes for a lot of fun for kids to swim against it.
The conservatory has doors that lead out onto the rear garden, where you find a lawn & patio area, which is equipped with an instant gas BBQ, outdoor rattan sofa & dining table (only the dining table is left outdoors during the winter). There is no access to the garden shed which houses cleaning materials & pool chemicals.
Walking through the front door of the house, the entrance hall is light & spacious, with glass & chrome balustrade leading to both the upper & lower floors. There is a toilet also located at the end of the hallway.
Walking upstairs from the hallway to the 2nd floor, you will find 4 large bedrooms, 2 king bedrooms & 2 childrens rooms. The first bedroom is 'Point Break' with 2 single beds with 2 extra trundles beneath the main singles (sleeps up to 4 children). It is immediately next to the family bathroom with bath. Point Break is next to the king bedroom, ‘Brownsea’ which has an en suite shower bathroom. Moving through a short corridor & open door you come to the remaining 2 bedrooms; the King bedroom, ‘Hook Sands’ with en suite Porcelanosa walk in shower & the final bedroom, ‘Spinnaker’, with 2 single beds with 2 extra trundles beneath the main singles (sleeps up to 4 children). Spinnaker also has an en suite shower.
The property is in walking distance to the award winning Sandbanks beaches & a short walk away from Swanage chain Ferry. The Royal Motor Yacht Club, Rick Stein Restaurant, Shell Bay Restaurant, Lazie Jack’s Cafe & The Haven Hotel, to name but a few are all in walking distance. Our location guide will help you with recommended restaurants & activities within the immediate area & surrounding area.
There are great events right on your doorstep; weekly fireworks, Sandbanks Polo, Bournemouth Air Festival, Camp Bestival by Lulworth Castle, Southampton Boat Show & a lot more!

The location, size and specification of this home make it truly unique. Although only a pleasant five minute stroll from the beach, the house is tucked away on a quiet street, making it the ideal holiday destination.
The downstairs living accommodation is extremely light and spacious, and what is particularly lovely is that both the contemporary living room and fully equipped kitchen/diner/conservatory open out onto a beautiful, private and sunny Mediterranean style landscaped garden with dining table. On cooler days, or if you want to relax out of the sun (thanks to the full window and ceiling blinds), then the light and airy conservatory is the ideal place to unwind. Also on the ground floor is the utility/laundry room and a brand new second living room/or a play room for children, offering a huge comfy sofa, large flat screen TV and plenty of floor space. There is also a new downstairs toilet and shower room.
The newly extended first floor now provides four bedrooms and a family bathroom. The family bathroom has a bath but no separate shower.
There is a large master bedroom with superking bed, TV and ensuite wet room. There is also a second brand new additional master bedroom (king size bed) with beautiful fitted furniture, flatscreen TV and an ensuite shower room. There are then two further bedrooms - an airy double with doors opening onto a juliette balcony and a spacious twin.
‘Bauhinia’ is fully equipped with everything you need for a fantastic holiday, with things like beach towels/mats, plastic picnic crockery and picnic blankets provided to make your life easier, and encourage you to sit back, relax and enjoy the comfort of this wonderful and peaceful holiday retreat. The location of the house is just perfect, situated on a peaceful and tree lined road, yet only a five minute walk from the award winning sandy beach and all the amenities of Sandbanks.
Restaurants:
There are numerous restaurants/ cafes within a ten minute walk of the house. The Yacht Club on Panorama road is great for breakfast or a casual lunch, as is The Caff by the beach carpark. There is also a new Italian, as well as Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant, which has views of the bay from the first floor dining room. For afternoon tea, you can visit the Haven Hotel next to the chain ferry, whilst for substantial “pub” style meals and the world’s biggest hot chocolates, try the Jazz Café on Shore Road. The Sandbanks hotel is a great place for a bite to eat, with a lovely waterfront terrace, and during summer season offers a kids club and entertainment. The close by villages of Penn Hill, Lilliput and Canford Cliffs offer an even wider selection of bars, cafes and restaurants, with the Cliff pub being a particular favourite amongst locals. Across the chain ferry at Studland, you must sit outside in the gardens of the Bankes Arms Country Inn to enjoy the magnificent views over Bournemouth and Poole, or try the ‘Pig on the Beach’ for some fantastic modern British food (reservations needed).
Things to Do:
Sandbanks Peninsula: The main attraction of this beautiful and exclusive location has got to be the award winning sandy beach. Sandbanks beach is part of the main stretch of golden sand that reaches all the way from Poole Bay to Christchurch harbour. You will find an array of amenities on offer close by including restaurants, cafes and shops. Watersports equipment rental and lessons can be arranged through one of several providers at or next to the Sandbanks Hotel. Another lovely place to visit is nearby Compton Acres historic gardens – about a 5 minute drive from Sandbanks. www.comptonacres.co.uk
Isle of Purbeck and Brownsea Island: Visitors can ride the Sandbanks chain ferry (15 mins walk from the house) to cross over to the Isle of Purbeck. Here you will find gorgeous unspoilt beaches as well as the famous sand dunes of Studland. Also on the Isle of Purbeck, you could take a trip on the historic Swanage steam railway, and take in the beautiful countryside views before enjoying a day at the traditional seaside town www.swanagerailway.co.uk. Or stop off and have a wander around the picturesque village of Corfe Castle - the old ruins of the castle itself are definitely worth a visit. Alternatively, take a boat from Poole Harbour and visit Brownsea Island, a beautiful and historic National Trust site. Bournemouth: Bournemouth Beach is the liveliest section of the beach and well worth a visit. It's a short drive or a lovely walk along the beach from Sandbanks. It hosts an array of activities for families including fairground rides, amusements and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. A particular attraction is the traditional Bournemouth Pier where you can relax with a drink and enjoy those spectacular views. The famous air festival takes place in early September. Bournemouth gardens are particularly lovely to stroll through or sit with a picnic and watch the entertainment during the summer months. The gardens lead from the beach up to the main shopping area with all its high street shops and boutiques. If you’re good with heights, then book a ride in Bournemouth’s highest attraction, the ‘Bournemouth Balloon’ and enjoy a panoramic view of the English Channel as far as 20 miles. www.bournemouthballoon.co.uk. Kids will also love the Bournemouth aquarium, Rock Reef climbing adventure and zip line and amusements on the sea front.
Poole: Poole Harbour is Europe’s largest natural harbour. Poole Quay is lined with restaurants, attractions and shops, including the famous ‘Poole Pottery’. Visitors can enjoy crabbing off the quayside or simply sitting in a café and watching the world go by. Poole old town has a fascinating history – you could even join a guided tour of the most haunted locations! During the summer months, there are weekly fireworks on the quay every Thursday at 10pm. The house is clean and incredibly well equipped, especially the kitchen. Donna even provides robes, slippers, mini toiletries and beach bags (complete with a set of towels), which gives the property a touch of luxury. The location is ideal for Sandbanks beach (luckily the weather was kind), the Studland chain ferry and many local eateries. The kids loved the swing set and since it kept them busy, so did we! The automatic gate at the front is a welcome addition. We're very keen to return!"

Welcome to our wonderfully relaxing beach house located in the heart of the famous Sandbanks peninsula. The Sandbanks peninsula is surrounded by water, making the air fresh, the pace relaxing and the beaches and sailing excellent.
If you sail, the Royal Motor Yacht Club is within 100m and offers visitors berthing by arrangement. If your prefer mountain biking you are at the gateway of some of the best mountain bike trails on the south coast. Simply cross the chain ferry (200-300m away) and enjoy the challenging trails and stunning views from the Purbeck hills. If you like lazing away sunny days on the beach, it's perfectly located with the award winning beaches of Sandbanks (250m) and Studland (400m) on your doorstep.

Spacious, Light 3 bedroom flat with secure free parking for two vehicles on site, directly opposite the entrance to Poole Harbour, the second largest natural harbour in the World (only Sydney is bigger) and giving direct access to the safe golden beaches of Sandbanks, and, (via a 10 minute chain ferry, £1 return on foot) to four miles of uninterrupted NT beaches, heather and forest on Shell Bay and Studland.

The whole of the Isle of Purbeck is accessible in 10 minutes by car, bus or on foot, via the chain ferry and the beginning of the UN World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Swanage, and the beautiful ancient Saxon towns of Corfe Castle and Wareham are within easy reach, as is the Etches Museum of Jurassic fossils at Kimmeridge, from which dramatic cliff walks stretch out both east and west. Historic Poole Quay and Bournemouth with its vibrant nightlife are both within 15 minutes by road. The Poole Lighthouse is home to the world renowned Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
Brownsea Island (the largest of four in Poole harbour) can be accessed from Poole quay, and is entry is free to NT members. Red squirrels and a nature reserve covers most of the Island, 1 mile in length and home to the fist ever Scout Camp in 1907.
At Arne, on the far side of the harbour is a vast RSPB reserve, which runs over heather and woods to the harbour’s edge.
Purbeck is, for its size, perhaps the most geologically varied and interesting part of the UK.
Ferries run to Cherbourg in Normandy and the Channel Islands from Poole Quay.
The magnificent links Parkstone Golf course is just 11 minutes drive away, and the Isle of Purbeck course, just across the ferry, also has commanding views over the whole of Poole Harbour and the heaths, forests and rolling farmland of Purbeck.
Wind and kite surfing, paddle boarding and canoeing is possible from the shallow warm harbour waters which adjoin the harbour beach beside the Sandbanks road, five minutes drive from the flat.
Much of the year boat cruises are run from Poole Quay around the harbour, out down the cliffs of the Jurassic coast (wonderful for keen ornithologists in the nesting season) and also up the river to Wareham, on which the Humphrey Bogart film “The African Queen” was shot. Wareham has one of only 30 Anglo Saxon churches in England and the defensive earthworks built to repel Viking raiders, are intact and there is a walk around them. This begins at the ancient church which also contains some remarkably preserved medieval wall paintings and the magnificent stone carved effigy of Lawrence of Arabia, (who lived and died nearby) intended for but refused by, Westminster Abbey. Keys can be obtained from the butcher in Wareham High Street when the church is closed.
There is the largest collection of Tanks in the World at the museum in Bovington, (22 miles or 40 minutes drive away) and nearby is the world famous Durdle Door with its shingle beach, and also the internationally recognised research and primate rescue centre, Monkey World.
There are several restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance, including Rick Stein’s in Sandbanks.Just so much to do and see, I have had to list give here just a “taster” and will be happy to give more detailed information to any guests on request.

A superb apartment with direct access from the lounge/diner to the tranquil south facing garden means you can enjoy exceptional indoor/outdoor space. The large master bedroom offers a king size bed and en-suite shower room. A second bedroom and family bathroom provide plenty of space to relax. With allocated on-site parking you can easily return after a days exploration.
- "(This is a review of 2 Canford cliffs not 3 as we were moved prior to arrival - owned by same landlord) The flat is easily walkable into Canford Cliffs with 3-4 restaurants , also walkable down a small path to the beach - Flaghead Chine is 10 mins away ,great on a busy day. The flat itself is well equipped, if a little dated in parts ( the tv in the ceiling is definitely a novelty). Two good sized bedrooms, both with TV. One room can be double or twin. There is wifi but it doesn’t extend into the master bedroom. Also there is a smart TVs and BT box but the lack of instructions and multiple remotes meant we struggled to do much with them. Worth noting you need to take toilet roll with you , not enough provided for a on3 week stay. If you stay for longer than a week be sure to check whether you will get cleaning / linen change."

Mansard Court is located in Brownsea Road, Sandbanks; the perfect location for a lovely family holiday in a tasteful resort only 2 minutes walk to the beach. Easy travelling distance from the hustle and bustle of nearby Bournemouth and Poole town centre. Sandbanks caters well for tourists and has a superb sandy beach. The apartment is an established holiday property and is carefully furnished to provide all mod cons whilst remaining uncluttered and comfortable. The apartment has one large double bedroom and a good size twin room. The lounge/diner offers ample seating for relaxing and dining also with a enclosed balcony. Off road parking is included (strictly for one car).On road parking is subject to a charge during the peak season which runs from 1 March to 31 October each year. The parking tariff is charged between 8am and 6pm at £1.50 per hour and then after four hours an all-day rate of £10 applies. There are no charges after 6pm at any time of the year and it remains free to park between November and February all day too. Complimentary WIFI and x1 cot and x1 highchair stored at the property, additional available at a surcharge.

- "Excellent property, great location. Perfect for family of 4 with beautiful beaches nearby. Only improvement would be changing the check in arrangements as you have to drive into the centre of Bournemouth first and there was very parking to collect the keys before driving onto the property. Perhaps consider a key safe?" - "It is 5 mins walk away from ferry to Shell Bay and Studland and Swanage. It is 5 mins walk away from the lovely beach of Sandbanks and further beaches and Chines. For us without a car, it is great to be a few yards away from buses to Poole and Bournemouth and stops on the way. Just amazing. The flat is lovely and well kept. Linen and fluffy towels provided. Clean, and well stocked for kitchen essentials. Coffee and tea etc provided on arrival. It may be helpful to have the bathroom drainage looked at - shower tray drainage is a bit sluggish. Using the plungers in the broom cupboard helped. We had a brilliant time and we will be booking again. Thank you!"

The Space:
High Tides villa is set over 3 floors with a private rear garden, and accommodates groups of up to 8 holidaymakers comfortably across 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms — with an additional sofa bed for two more people, plus a travel cot for babies or infants, if required.
This wonderful home effortlessly showcases a modern elegance throughout with exceptional attention to detail and sophisticated interior design. Beautiful furniture, free-flowing light-filled layouts, warm wood tones, ultra cosy bedrooms, and trendy well-equipped living spaces await.
The main open lounge kitchen dining area, located on the upper floor, is a luminous oasis. An attractive kitchen is designed for entertaining and features all the mod cons for cooking — including an integrated oven, induction hob, and integrated microwave. There’s a host of cookware, glassware, crockery, and dinnerware for mealtimes. Downstairs, the first of three ground-floor bedrooms is a master ensuite with a luxurious and spacious feel. It features a smart TV, a super king bed, ample storage, including a mirrored wardrobe, chest of drawers, and side cabinets. There’s also sliding doors leading to an enclosed veranda with garden views. The modern ensuite bathroom comes with a heated towel rail, storage basin, toilet, and walk-in shower with a large rainfall shower head.
The next bedroom is a gorgeous double ensuite, again with garden view. It features a double bed with large soft headboard, bedside storage, and a lovely ornate chest of drawers. The ensuite is modern and comes with a large walk-in shower unit, basin and storage cupboard, heated towel rail, and toilet.
The cosy third bedroom on this floor is ideal for children or teens, and has a single bed with a pull-out trundle second bed underneath, and storage including a wardrobe, chest of drawers, and side cabinet.

On the same lower ground level is a snug with modular sofabed, large smart TV, DVD player with plenty of DVDs, and fridge — which makes a perfect chillout space for teens and children. This sofa also doubles as a sofabed, offering an extra sleeping option for two people.
The garden space is ideal to unwind in and features a substantial outdoor dining table set with a parasol for 8 diners across a large patio area, and an impressive lawned garden filled with various palm trees. There’s also a 2-seat outdoor sofa, and a gas BBQ — convenient for long balmy summer days outside.
There’s parking for 2 cars at the property. There’s also hairdryers in the bedrooms, Wi-Fi throughout, an ironing board and iron, a hoover, and a high chair.
Please note: pets are welcome! The Neighbourhood:
The local neighbourhood is one of the most desirable holiday home locations in Dorset and the south coast of England. A hotspot particularly for watersports, nature enthusiasts, and beach lovers, the area is also synonymous with very high property prices and upmarket hospitality.
The 5 km stretch of sandy beach runs from Cubs Beach near to the Studland car chain ferry terminal at the end of the peninsula, through Sandbanks Beach and on to Canford Cliffs Beach towards Bournemouth, and is a paradise for swimmers, sunbathers, and dog walkers. On the opposite side to its famous sandy beach is Sandbanks Bay, within Poole Harbour, where many of the watersport facilities are based, for activities such as paddleboarding, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, and jet skiing, amongst others.
Nearby, and accessible via a short ferry ride from the ferry terminal, is National Trust’s Brownsea Island, famous for its protected woodland, heathland and lagoon habitats; and wildlife, including rare red squirrels and birds. The island was the location of an experimental camp in 1907 that led to the formation of the Scout movement.
The main ferry route is via a car chain ferry connecting to Studland Bay and Isle of Purbeck region. This beautiful area features a long stretch of varied coastline, including Shell Bay Beach, Knoll Beach, Studland Beach, and South Beach; as well as quaint villages, a heritage railway, historical Corfe Castle, and Swanage Town at the very south of the peninsula.
The more urban areas of Poole and Bournemouth are very close by, and have a myriad of things to do and places to see, including museums, art galleries, theatres, and annual festivals.

Broken curtain pole broke off the wall in lounge. Dirty covers on sofa. What looked like dried blood on floor. Broken blind in bedroom. Dirty splash backs in kitchen and bathroom. Needs tiling. The shower was full of damp. Like I said could be perfect. Shame….."

Relax at this luxurious, striking brand new penthouse apartment in the heart of Sandbanks. 3 bedroom apartment with 360 degree views of Poole Harbour and Sandbanks. Poggenphol kitchen, Antonio Lupi bathroom fittings and Miele appliances. Roof top bar/lounge area, jacuzzi and outdoor dining. Large kitchen/living/dining room with bespoke staircase leading up to the roof top 'relaxation zone' and expansive rooftop terrace. Smart 43inch TV's in every room.

Situated off Banks Road in a private gated development of just 7 flats. The building is located on Sandbanks Peninsula with views of the sea and access to the beach 150m from the gate of the property.
There is 1 parking space with the rental. Possibility to rent additional parking spaces as well.
The hot tub is set up for every guest if they require it. There is an additional £100 spa charge which is the cost price to have it cleaned and refilled between each guest. If you don't require the hot tub then the £100 will not be requested.
